    Battered White fish
    Nick K.

Had the locally caught white fish coated with tempura batter which was the highlight. French fries were good and hot. Mixed the tartar sauce with the coleslaw and was surprised how delicious the combo was. Price was reasonable for Mackinac Island.

After a long day of travel, my wife and I were starving by the time we got to the Island. Once we got settled in at our bed and breakfast, we decided to grab a bite to eat and found Sea Biscuit was just a short walk away. We headed over and were seated quickly. Katie was our server, she didn't smile much, but she was helpful, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. She gave us a few recommendations, especially when it came to the ciders and entrees. We started with the hot wings, my wife and I are big wing fans, and these didn't disappoint. I really liked that they served as whole wings instead of just flats or drummies. Only thing I'd change is I wish there were four instead of three so it's easier to share evenly. That being said, they were seasoned really well and had just a decent amount of heat. For our entrees, I went with the Creole salmon, and it was great. I'm a huge fan of Creole flavors, and this meal definitely delivered. My wife tried the lobster roll, she thought it was okay, but said it lacked some flavor. Even though that was the case with my Wifes food, we both enjoyed our meals overall. The vibe of the restaurant gave you that warm and cozy feeling, perfect for a date night or a small group get-together. The location was super convenient, the food was good, and the service was also good. If we make it back to the island again, Sea Biscuit will definitely be on our list to revisit.

Hola, Flaca from the Cocktail Menu
    Faith F.

We were seated right away and greeted by Kara, our server, who shared her tasty recommendations. None of which disappointed! We enjoyed Tempura Fried Asparagus for our appetizer and a couple of cocktails; Tony & Melfi and the Hola Flaca! The restaurant was clean and cozy, with comfortable seating and cute horse decor. Of course Seabiscuit was playing on the TV! Too cute! We only stopped in for drinks and apps, but will be back tomorrow morning for breakfast while we're still on the island!

    Vegetarian Burrito

We had this amazing vegetarian burrito filled with rice and butternut squash for lunch and then came back the next day for the same thing. We sat at the bar and had wonderful service and conversation. The restaurant is nicely decorated in dark wood. It is located in the center of the Main Street. Even the specialty drinks looked good. Highly recommend this over a typical burger and fries on your visit to Mackinac Island.

Parmesan Crusted Whitefish and World Famous Derby Burger with sweet potato fries
    Kailey O.

We had a great dinner here after a few food fails on the island. The Parmesan crusted whitefish was recommended by our server and it did not disappoint! The mashed potatoes and asparagus were delicious as well. My husband had the cheeseburger with sweet potatoes fries and thought it was great. The server was also able to change the TV to our desired soccer game. Overall a great experience!

    Mac and cheese balls

As a huge reuben fan I knew we had to stop here when I saw a FISH reuben on the menu. It was absolutely incredible. 10/10. Would eat it again tomorrow, and the next day. The mac and cheese balls were quite good too, as were drinks and service. But really, if you're a reuben fan why are you even still reading this- get here ASAP.

Ice cream sundae covered in Ryba's fudge... Mmm...
    David F.

This dark and tiny little hole in the wall really threw me for a loop - I don't know what I was expecting, but this was by far the best meal I enjoyed on my most recent trip! My wife, daughter and I had been eating dessert most of the day (on an island known for fudge, I don't think this is an uncommon experience). Yet, we needed something with some substance - so we got the nachos, which I unfortunately did not photograph as they were truly a sight to behold! Complete with pulled pork, melted cheese, nacho cheese sauce, guacamole, salsa, sour cream, and loads of more toppings, they were some of the best nachos I have ever had in my life. It's only been a few days and I'm already craving them... And then an ice cream sundae. Why? Because when there is an option to order an ice cream sundae with Ryba's fudge covering the top, you do NOT pass up such an opportunity. IT. WAS. AMAZING. There are so many great dining options on the island, but this one proved to be one of my favorites. Needless to say, I will return!

The food was really delicious and good quality. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Overall, the restaurant is rather small and doesn't hold a ton of people, but the vibe/decor inside is cool.

    The Triple Crown

Guess what? Food is crazy expensive when you are a tourist on an island! Be prepared for NYC prices.... but at least the food was good, and so was the service. Liked the horse racing theme of the restaurant, not just the decor, but also on the menu. The movie Seabiscuit was playing on a loop on the TV. The Smoked Whitefish Chowder was good and so were our meals. I had the "Triple Crown" (which is a club sandwich) and my wife had the Whitefish and Chips. Everything was fresh and prepared well. Enjoyed the meal... hated the check!

Food: 5 Customer Service: 5 Location/ Parking: 5 Cleanliness: 5 Reservations: NA This restaurant is situated on Main Street on Mackinac Island, and within walking distance from the ferry dock. This cafe is a very popular place for locals and tourists to the island. The menu offers a wide variety of delicious and mouthwatering choices that will appeal to everyone. Our waitress was very friendly, helpful, and attentive to our needs. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for some great food!!!

The wait was about 15-20 minutes - so much better of a wait time! I like the theme and vibe of the place - the play on bikes and name of the restaurant is perfect. Decor is bike themed but not overly done. Rustic and laid back. Our waitress was excellent - very friendly and attentive. All staff were wearing masks. Good drink menu in addition to food. A lot of small plate options but the portion sizes of the small plates could feed at least 2-4 people. I went with sweet potato fries and steak tender bites - delicious! The dipping sauces for the fries had three different options - sweet/savory, loved trying each one. The sweet potato fries were not mushy and had a good crunch. The steak was cooked to perfection - I asked for medium and I got medium! Everyone seemed happy with their food. Restrooms were downstairs. Nice dining option in the city - only con there was no outdoor seating. Picking up on social media - looks like this place used to be Huron St. Pub & Grill not sure if it was a re-branding or new owners. Either way, I hope Broken Spoke is here to stay on the island!

He even wished my mom a happy Mother's Day before taking our order, which was a nice touch. We started with the Street Corn Nachos as an appetizer, then ordered a pulled pork sandwich and a grilled portobello mushroom sandwich, both with fries on the side (an additional $4 each). This was an excellent place to bring my mom since she's vegetarian, and the restaurant had plenty of vegetarian-friendly options. The food was excellent, especially the nachos -- the queso was amazing. The restaurant also gives you a lot of customization options, like swapping chips for fries for an extra $4 or adding protein to the nachos for an additional charge. That said, while the nachos were really good, they were still $18 without any protein, which honestly felt overpriced for chips, cheese, and vegetables. We came during lunch service, and overall the food, service, and view made for a great experience. However, it is definitely on the expensive side. Most entrees seemed to range from around $20-30. Still, if you're willing to spend a little more for quality food, generous portions, and a great atmosphere, it's definitely worth visiting.

I had to look at my photos in order to remember our meal. That's not to say it was bad. Not at all! Just that the only thing I remember is that the prices are slightly higher than I think they should be. (Although, that seems to be the case at every restaurant on Mackinac Island. They have you trapped, and they know it.) We started with the smoked whitefish dip, which is a popular thing in this part of Michigan. It came piping hot with melted cheese on it, and served with crispy pita chips and crostini. I'm glad I tried it! I love me a good meatloaf sandwich, so when I saw meatloaf sliders in the menu, I had to get them. These sliders are made with pretzel buns, which are not my favorite because I feel like they're never soft enough. A nice white bun would have been so much better. I got a side Caesar salad, and it was fine. We also ordered a chicken tenders basket, the Low Carb Platter (just a cheeseburger without a bun and a side of cottage cheese), and a kids' cheeseburger. They do have a kids menu here -- just ask. Millie's gets very busy! We had to wait almost 30 minutes for a table. But it's centrally located in the middle of downtown Mackinac, so I wouldn't expect anything less.

A great spot, located right where visitors board for the public carriage tours! We stopped in around 12pm and by the time we left, every table was filled. If I were to go there again, I would definitely get the pasty, hands down.

There are two levels to this bar so maybe the first level is attainable with accessibility and then the top level might not be. Check ahead. This bar is absolutely gorgeous!!! There is a large or dare I say "grand" Chihuly glass chandelier hanging from the center from the upper section to the lower section, so it can be seen from both floors of this small but beautiful bar. We walked into the lower level first and the bartender immediately turned to us with a great big smile and welcomed us to the bar and asked if we wanted anything to drink. The wallpaper on this bar is light and beautiful and big windows look out over the ground towards Lake Huron. I was mesmerized immediately. Then we went upstairs to the upper level and there are 180° views of equally big clean windows at a beautiful sunny day outside was just breathtaking. We sat at a table and a server came over quickly and offered us cocktails and welcomed us to the bar. The service was kind of like being at Disney with impeccable service. I had the Machiatto Martini, and my aunt had a glass of rosé. The macchiato martini had Van Gogh double espresso vodka, Dorda sea salt, caramel, Dorda double chocolate, Frangelico, Amaretto, and Baileys. It was visually, stimulating and delicate and sweet and rich, as expected. I may try to make these at home - ha ha!! The views were spectacular and there was light acoustic guitar music playing on speakers, but not too loud and just a nice place to be in the moment at this magical hotel and have a cocktail either to end the day or end your time at the hotel. I'll never forget it.
