I actually find it weird for me to write a review for a McDonald's, but I unlike everyone else had a really good experience. I ordered on the kiosk and my order came out super quickly, even when I asked for fries with no salt. I noticed for each person they asked the person if they wanted ketchup. I'm sorry no McDonald's in the city would ever. This McDonald's surprisingly has more people ordering at the register than I expected. Makes sense why They only have two spots to order on a kiosk. The only downside is that I think they were training someone so they just kept calling their name out loud to do x, y, z. Also that they don't keep their the ice tea out next to the fountain drinks. Otherwise, everything was very standard McDonald's and fairly clean. read more

Less than 1-star. Actually, zero stars, but Yelp insists that everybody automatically gets at least 1-star. Just please don't bother with this location, here's why.The good: Nothing, not even the lukewarm food that I've experienced on all of my recent visits. To be fair, I've reserved negative judgement, though my previous visits were bad. Then things got worse. Service: A few days ago the mobile app suddenly stopped working. Of course, if your order wasn't processed electronically through the app, one should bring it to the attention of the manager, which I did. She was visibly angry that I brought it to her attention,s treated with disdain. She's arrogant and treats fills as though they work for her. Almost an hour later, still no progress, although they were servicing all of the drive-though customers, and they tried to get me to order at the register, but they wouldn't honor the "app exclusive" offers (translation: pay more, then you'll get served). Asking for a refund failed, but I did receivea notification several days afterwards that a refund was being processed. But there's more: turns out the app was charging approximately $2 more than it was supposed to. It's a sign of times, folks. On my last visit, the female manager scowled at me when I walked into the establishment. I thought I'd imagined her non-verbal expression, but I had not. Upon accessing the mobile app, I noticed that it suddenly stopped working. I went to the front and spoke with their manager, the same woman, and she began making excuses for why it wasn't working. No, I didn't speak to her angrily, just calmly. Then, I asked her if anything else was working (like drive-up, or even the register). This is when she admitted that she turned off the app so I couldn't order anything. She also said she didn't want to work the register (translation: "I don't like you"). She demonstrated her anger by stating, "I remember you." Asking her what I had done wrong was useless, she stopped talking. So I left quietly. I am used to treating folks nicely and, in return, being likewise treated nicely. Doesn't work here and I am recommending that you should avoid this spot. The new girl at the second window is sooooo rude!!! She has a bad attitude. She first opened her window I greeted her with a hello and a smile. She just gave me a nasty look and didn't say anything. I hadn't eaten all day. It was close to 5 o'clock and I stopped in for a quarter pounder with cheese, which I haven't ordered in over 10 years!!!! Now I know why I haven't ordered them in over 10 years. The hamburger was grossly undercooked, so I took it up to the manager and showed him how undercooked the burger was, and he yelled at the cook after grunting at me and did nothing after that, absolutely nothing!! Well, it turns out I probably wasn't at McDonald's for a burger anyway because these two beautiful young men came up to me and asked if I had any extra funds because they were stuck without gas at the nearby gas station. At first, I gave them my change and then I realized that's probably not enough. A lot of people have helped me throughout my life so I decided if McDonald's is not even going to offer me a replacement burger or my money back... you know maybe I could just turn around and help these guys out so I did. Showed up at 9:24 PM and all doors to dining room were locked and all the chairs were stacked on tables. Dining room is supposed to be open until 10PM. Went through drive through and questioned what time they closed, lady manager wearing blue shirt and glasses said 10 PM. I asked why the doors were locked, she said they were not. We told her they were. Then she said because there are only two people working. There was another manager in the office counting money and four people working outside the kitchen. This is an example that the employees here don't care about customers or customer service, only making their jobs less work to do. P.S. As we waited for our drive through food, three cars pulled up after us wanting to enter the dining room. DO NOT ORDER THE FISH SANDWICH. Taking old already cooked fish and throwing it BACK into the frier to make it seem like it's fresh is against McDonald's protocol. But the African in the window, Kenny, doesn't seem to think this is a problem. The manager Damien seems to agree until you disclose the fact that you have worked for McDonald's before and know better. This is my fourth time receiving an old, redropped piece of fish from this location. This is common practice because when you complain about it they then try to fix it. There should be nothing to fix. If I asked for a fresh piece of fish to be cooked because I don't want the old fish that's been sitting there all day, it should not be a problem. I should not receive an attitude and be left at the intercom because dropping new fish will somehow ruin your day. Mr Kenny didn't want to give me his name and told me to go find out. Ordered a large hot mocha. Cup was filled with whipped cream and when I moved it there was only a half a cup of coffee. It was also room temperature. I asked to have it corrected and was told no so I asked for the manager. He had the cashier put more fluid in it (now it's 2/3 full) and gave it back to me cold saying it's the best they can do. We ordered a basic meal for lunch it was really easy a couple of burgers and fries, and we were asked to wait in a parking spot# drive in for... 10 Minutes while 6 cars behind us received their orders which were prob twice as much as we ordered! I live nearby so for years now this has been the place for all my McD's needs. I usually dine via drive through, but have occasionally picked up from the inside and I can say overall the place is clean, the wait time isn't too long, and the employees aren't rude. Basically this hits 3 out of 4 requirements I find myself wanting from a fast food establishment. The 4th you ask? How very astute of you. Twice in the last month alone my order has either been outright wrong, or grossly lacking in the "high standards" of a fast food burger. The first time, instead of the order of 2 chicken sandwiches and 2 fries my hubby had requested he unknowingly came home with 2 hamburgers and 1 order of fries. Either someone wasn't paying attention or we straight up got the wrong bag. The latest time we again were hoping for 2 chicken sandwiches, and were supplied with such - but barely. I can only guess there was a HUGE 9:30 pm rush AND they only had 1 chicken breast left because our buns were left practically dry and devoid of ranch / lettuce and they had taken 1 chicken breast and CUT IT IN HALF to supply both sandwiches. Also I was excited to find only half the normal amount of bacon. So I found the "contact us" local on McDonald's website and started typing away about the time and money this location had made us waste on it. I did get a nice email back that basically said "thank you for your feedback, but this wasn't our fault, so we'll let the individual owner know". No mention if I should await further contact or if they considered the matter settled, but I figured I would give the benefit of my doubt and wait and see. Surely the owner would care, right? And he did! Kind of? Today I received a voice mail from him saying something to the effect of "thank you for your feedback, but your complaint came in a few days before we bought this location and so your bad experiences are not really our fault. Since this place is now under new management we promise it will get better, but in the mean time please be patient with us while we make the transition." OK, morale of the story time. Always thoroughly check your order while still at the window. People waiting behind you be damned, help make sure these employees did there job correctly: no one else is going to hold them responsible, it's up to you. Also be patient with this place while it learns how to function as a real business. Maybe don't go for a couple months until they get the hang of things. read more

This is a very clean establishment with a bunch of friendly staff who give you service with a smile. This place is implementing kiosks to order your food, but I prefer talking to someone instead of pushing buttons. The burgers, fries, and nuggets are all standard. Hours of operation says this restaurant is open until 2:00am. but if you show up any time after 12:00am they will refuse to help you and say they are closed, even though the workers are standing in there just talking. There is a reason this McDonalds has a bad rating on Yelp. But there is no way she worked at this location in '70-71, perhaps she was at the downtown location. This location was built sometime between 1996-2001. Prior to that, Hamilton was still in military use, and the only things that were between the Shell station and the base were a BP gas station and Nave Lanes. My experience happened a few months ago that I still cannot stop thinking about. I was sick this day, but I still needed to go into work for a few hours to get some things done. I went to this location around 11:30pm I think. I went through the drive thru and there was 1 little truck in front of me, no other cars mind you. The truck in front of me moved and parked ahead in the "waiting area", which I thought was odd since there was no one behind us. I get up to the window and I literally bought a McDouble, a 10 piece of Nuggets and a small sprite to feel better, (gross I know). I was told the cost, handed my card over to a sweet older woman and paid. Got my sprite and my card back. Door closes. Then a few seconds reopens and I am asked to please pull forward and wait. I said, "oh no thank you. I will wait right here, thank you." and that's when the chaos began.. The door closes and the "Manager" opens the window and asks me why won't I pull forward. I kindly say because I don't feel good, I'm not pulling forward because I ordered 2 things, and if I knew I had to park I wouldn't have completed the order, and I was told after the fact that I paid. The "Manager" went ballistic! I was screamed at and then she began to call the Police.. Yes, I PAID for food and was having the Police called on me! I thought she was joking, I didn't really know what was going on, this whole time she could have been just making my 2 item order mind you, but instead is calling the Police on me, because I won't pull forward so they can hit their time quota.. I just began to laugh and asked why are you calling the police on a PAYING CUSTOMER who is just waiting for their food? ... I was ignored, then this "Manager" tried to hand me back cash.. I again being sick and just wanting the food I PAID FOR.. I said what is this? This isn't my food and I didn't pay with cash why are you handing me cash when I paid on my card? Seriously why can't you just make TWO THINGS? The door closed and a few seconds later, hey my food! :) All while the guy in the waiting spot is STILL waiting, why I drive off. Placed a mobile order waited 20 min and no food. I walked in to ask about my order and Hector the manager tells me that he needs a number to look up the order. He was rude, not willing to help he wouldn't even look at the email sent to me noting my card was charged to see if that had the order number on it. Thankfully a nice young lady asked me what i had ordered and she found my food sitting on the counter. Hector didn't even apologize for his lack of knowledge of the app or that he couldn't find my food.. Hector needs training on how to help his customers. read more
