Main reasons why I go to McDonalds is the value deals offered from the McDonald app and enjoy eating their burgers, fries and shakes. Love their value deals where you can get free drink, buy 1 and get the 2nd sandwich for free or breakfast deals which can save you money using McDonald app. I also love their McPick for 2 which I buy to take-out during my lunch break from work. Such a great price! Service is great and friendly staff! Parking is no issue and I find the service using the drive thru is quick as well. This was the worst mobile app experience ever. I use it all the time and love it, but this restaurant does not know what they are doing. I waited 20 minutes for a simple order. I had to get out of my car and go in and they acted like I was inconveniencing them. The girl that finally brought the food out almost threw it at me and walked away without a word. Today was National Ice Cream Day ! I went in there for their Soft Serve ice Cream . They had pre- made them and put them in their freezer. The ice cream they sold me was terrible! The only reason I am giving them two stars is because they let me round up my bill for Ronald McDonald's House and they gave me Mustard for my husband for his sandwich. What can you say about McDonald's food that 99% of America doesn't already know? This particular McDonald's is extremely fast, a lot faster than any of the Peninsula locations I been to. It's usually clean but for the past few months the second you walk in the door, there is a "sewer smell" even thought the restrooms are clean. No way I could eat there because of this and I always get everything to go. Overall its pretty clean and the only problem I see with this place is it is usually full of 14-16 year old San Bruno-Milbrae kids trying to act like they are all hardcore gangstas on their skateboards and bicycles LOL... A very fast place to grab and go or hit the drive thru...not so great for the Dine-in. read more

A very beautiful newly remodeled McDonalds. Wingstop is next door so there is some competition around here. Convenient to the airport this might be an area to hang for a bit to wait if your coming or going. A comfortable and beautiful space to pass the time. Ordered just simple stuff and it came quick and in a super friendly manner. Dining area was clean and well maintained. New soda machine and very good ice tea. I think the ice tea here would do well in a blind taste test. Their coffee I prefer to Starbucks. Food is consistent and low priced as is usual and that is what a chain gets you - but this one is managed well. read more

Wow.. I am seriously writing a review for McDonalds??! Although it is purely because of convenience and speed. Sunday morning after very little sleep making breakfast at home just wasn't going to happen so stopped off here en rout to an appointment. Stopped in at 10:15 and the place was fairly busy, presumably with everybody had the same idea. The line at the till was really quick, we order 2 breakfasts (Egg, Sausage, Hash Brown & Biscuit) and within a minute it was ready. Opening them up we discover that in place of the biscuit we have Muffins (or English Muffins as I should get used to calling them). No harm though as I actually prefer them. Pretty standard McD's food, only thing I would say is that the egg didn't have much flavour which might just be because it's different to what I'm used to. But.. still good and stopped my poor stomach from growling. Probably the fastest 'eat out' breakfast I have ever had. Yay. read more

Honestly, it still is way better than to go an entire day without anything to eat and drink. Today, I came in here ordering a medium french fries with a 10-piece chicken mcnugget and a sprite. SWEET TEA HAS FINALLY MADE IT TO THE WEST COAST. Well...to this McDs at least. Upon returning back to the hotel area on my crappy birthday, having not eaten all day, I decided a crispy ranch snack wrap would be a perfect late night treat. This was a way cute, diner-esque looking McDonalds. Very cute. Went through the drive through and as I was passing all those 'new item' advertisements I usually ignore the thirty two ounce sweet tea for a dollar one caught my eye. Could it be true? Is California finally beginning to cater to the needs of us sweet tea drinking Southern folk. I do believe. As excited I of course ordered one which took about a minute and a half to gulp down. I asked Jose Cuervo at the window if all McDonalds were carrying sweet tea now. He said yes but Im skeptical if he even knew what I was saying. Tomorrow as soon as I am able I will be verifying this statement at my local McDonalds and will report again then. I really like McDonalds' food and have been a big fan since before I can remember, but this location is kind of a disaster, even by McDonald's standards. It was recently rebuilt from the ground up, so it's in very good condition. They have two drive-thru lanes, a decent amount of parking, and generally they do the McD's thing pretty well. That's the good news. The bad news is that they're super unreliable. If your order is for more than four people, you can expect something to go wrong, sometimes (relatively) catastrophically. My most recent trip, I waited 45 minutes for my food to come out, whereupon the hot stuff was barely lukewarm, the cold stuff was halfway melted, and several items were missing. I'd like to say there are better fast-food burger options in Millbrae, but to the discredit of the other places in town this place is probably best. I'll end this review by saying the San Bruno Wendy's can't reopen soon enough. read more

Location is not in the easiest of places to get to unless you're going southbound on El Camino Real. Love the outer decor as it's the old 80's feel with the neon lights. This location doesn't have a lot of the deals that other locations have: They have the $5 for 20 Chicken McNuggets but not the meal deal No 2/$4 Filet-o-fish deal No 2/$5 Big Macs deal Since they don't have the deals here, it's more expensive if you wanted those items compared to the locations that do offer them. I usually only stop by this location if I'm looking for a specific toy or because someone's craving it (and they're at work). Service is hit and miss. Sometimes you'll get someone really helpful and friendly, other times they don't care at all. It's a McDonald's so just expect bad service and you either will be met with as much or pleasantly surprised. read more

The guy is very knowledgeable when it comes to McDonald's food! He even delivers to your table which is nice! After coming from Jack-in-the-Box whom by the way was not taking orders for 30 minutes even though they're open for 24 hours, I came to McDonald's. Just to find out that at 4 AM there was no longer any chicken nuggets. So if you're ever going to McDonald's to get a burger or anything other than breakfast, make sure you get there before 4 AM. No where in their advertising outside says that they stop serving regular menu after 4 AM. So another disappointment with these 24 hour restaurants. So I ended up coming home tired from work and hungry. Came to McDonald's tonight on my way home from work again and this time they were closed at 11:15 PM. This is one of the most inconsistent stores I've ever been to. First they start off strong with their whole new renovation, excellent service, Fast Service and for whatever reason another closed at night. read more

All the staff is excellent, smarter than anyone at Burlingame Long Term Care. They have basic understanding here at our Millbrae McDonalds. Staff is attentive, kind, and shrewd. During the pandemic, I ordered food for mobile pick up. I had my daughter pick up the food. The manager said she needs to see the original phone for the order. My daughter gave her the code. She said it was not acceptable. The manager said that I must be there. I can't be there because I have asthma and was a high risk. They force me to go pick up the food and put my life at risk. They never get our orders wrong, except once in a while they might forget either our ranch sauce, or sweet and sour sauce. But it's okay, we forgive. They must be super tired working overnight shifts. my friends and i tend to get the munchies after being intoxicated, and you get hungry. So Mcdonald's run is a must. Disclaimer: I haven't been to a McDonald's for over 3 years. No joke. But one day I shot straight out of bed and looked at my clock and realized it was only 9:30-one hour till breakfast closed down at McDonalds. (Remember watching Big Daddy with Adam Sandler? Yeah, I blame him.) Suddenly, the thought of a sausage McGriddle beckoned me and without even brushing my hair, I dragged the ever so willing bf to McDonalds. 10 minutes later, we're in the parking lot jumping up for joy like SpongeBob Squarepants imagining what joys await us. There's nothing more satisfying than the sweet taste of those pancake patties with sausage and cheese. I'm getting hungry imagining that all over again. Pair that with hash browns and a cup of coffee and you've got a dynamite combination. Funny thing about breakfast that allows you to learn a lot about your partner. For instance, CP and I opened up our sandwiches, broke our hash browns in half and added it to the layers without first mentioning our McGriddle habit to the each other. We look at each other across the table, realize we have the exact same routine. Suddenly, I flash forward to the future countless Sunday mornings when we'll be sitting with our kids making them finish their Big Breakfast before heading to church. And it all started with McDonalds. I probably won't be coming back for the 500 calorie McGriddles for another couple of months at best but when I do get the urge for a $1 sweet tea like Jennifer (because mama loves her sweet tea ya'll) I'll be back. So I learned a couple things: 1. My boyfriend loves me even if I drag him to McDonalds. 2. I still look good with a bird's nest of hair. 3. I fit right in at McDonalds in my pj's. 4.
