We came here after 4 hours of traffic coming from the city. Service was actually nice and it was hella funny when I order a sweet tea, then asked for half and half; and it's like midnight and she hella paused and was like tf ok. lol not that it was rude, just funny how I caught her off guard. It's like a milk tea! I am however giving this spot a one star out of principle behind the food quality I received. In my experience, it's usually the small town fast food spots that's always have the fire ass quality. Where the chicken nuggets are fresh and crisp. That classic salt crispness to the fries. But god damn, both of these tasted hella soggy and like as if it was sat out all night on the counter after a night bender. But this is right after buying it, it tasted just old. Must of these stars are just for being open in a place that only one other store was still open. Also, the staff was friendly. Downsides: the line was long, so this wasn't quick. The spill trough for the drinks needed to be empty and was disgusting. The ketchup out of the dispenser was warm and tasted funny. read more

Ordered extra mayo on both of my McChickens from the McDonald's app. Is it too much to ask for a person's simple order to be made correctly? Being cheap and mindless on my order got you one less future customer. Oh, and NO APPLE PIES. Management obviously is incompetent on keeping advertised menu items properly stocked. Restrooms are terrible and asked for cleaning chemicals just so I could use the restroom to clean stall and they told me just wait for the guy to clean them 45 mins goes by still nobody to clean them and I get the attention of the manager once again which seems like I was being avoided and ignored for my request for a clean stall she developed an attitude telling me to wait or use paper towels and water WTF water doesn't disinfect piss and shit on the toilet and this whole time I have to go and willing to clean the stall myself and then I get the comment from the lady that they can't all be that dirty and I opened 4 stalls and consistently they had piss and shit or one or the other all over the place so I'm not going to sit there and open ever single stall in Hope's to find a clean one when they are supposed to be on top of this since it's a travel stop rest area Update waited 1 hour later went back in to try and use restroom still in same filth and man claiming he just came out from cleaning it and will share pictures no cleaning was done and was told I'm freaking lying on the condition of bathroom and manager refused to look at pictures taking workers words I went to the family restroom and the door wouldn't lock and the manager told me are you fucking kidding me push the dam button it'll lock and no it wont as soon as you release pressure it pops out read more

McDonald's is usually an ok place to order food... Just Don't go to NANUET MCDONALD'S !!! I have been going to McDonald's Nanuet for many many years they've always been a little slower than all the other McDonald's but the disrespect that you get going through the drive-thru from the workers from the order takers is unreal!!! they rush you when you haven't even been in front of the speaker 30 seconds then everything you ask for they act like you're bothering them they act like you are begging them and then they give you barely room temperature food and when you ask for Splenda because you have sugar free tea or no sugar in your coffee they give you two and tell you have a lot in your bag when some people use five splenders in each item I should have had 10 splenders she told me she had a lot in the bag so she lied to me the treatment for McDonald's is so poor!!!! a couple of weeks ago I ordered a $4 meal as a special offer on the app and when I picked up my food and looked at my receipt 5 minutes later I realized they changed my order and charged me $8.75. when I called the company they really a message to the owner as they tell me that's customer service of McDonald's, they told me I will receive a call from the owner at the Nanuet McDonald's the owner never called me the manager told me too bad I was overcharged because I ordered to the app! So I believe this is the cleanest McDonalds I have ever seen, with the best customer service. Stopped here twice after going to hunter mountain, since its conveniently located right by the entrance to the NY state through way. I am not a fan of Micky Ds but if there were more that were as clean and nice as this one I would def visit more often! read more

I am not a fast food eater, but the other evening they were the only place open to get a bite during the snow storm. The quarter pounders are now made to order as instead of the pre cooked frozen they used to serve they are now made to order. I ordered one with cheese. For the first time ever.. I did not feel sick and it was very tasty. They should do this with all their burger choices. Have to mention, I went inside on this trip. The manager and team were very pleasant. read more

This McDonald's has 3 stars for one reason, and one reason only. It is located in Malden, New York. I grew up in Malden, Massachusetts. So, naturally, I was excited to find this place while driving north into the wilderness. The first time I went to this McDonald's, I was standing in line and someone behind me said, 'Yo, Mick!' and it was someone I knew. Someone who I've hung out with in Malden, Massachusetts. AND WE WERE IN MALDEN, NEW YORK! How awesome is that?! Mind = Blown. So, why only three stars? Last time I was there, a large coke and a small fry cost $4.30. WTF, mate? This is about the worst McDonald's ever been to and I travel for a living. No mustard, no ice tea, no unsweet iced tea, one of the soda machines is broken. it's 9:30 PM and there is a line of 15 people and t takes 15 minutes to get to the front to order your food. Another 15 to get it. Arrived cold and unappetizing. 21$ for two Big Mac meals. Pass. Eat the burrito in the truck stop it's tastier and better. read more

Horrible Attitude! Their credit card machines were down- should tell people that before they order. Poor guy next to us had to go use the ATM and pay a $3 service charge to get cash- so he asked the manager to take something off of his bill - manager says "that's not my fault that the wifi is down" seriously!? He ended up taking the "hot tea" off their bill- I am sure that wasn't $3. That guy needs a refresher on customer service. read more

absolutely awful. i came here STARVING hoping to get a good meal but i was let down. first of all, they were out of almost everything. i asked for a crispy chicken burger and this man has the AUDACITY to tell me they ran out... ITS MCDONALDS!???? MAKE MORE???!! i settled with a PLAIN cheeseburger, what can go wrong. i grab my small drink, fries, & burger and head to my car. I sit and start to eat.
