The drive thru is always, always super slow....morning, afternoon, and night! Ridiculous!!!

This McDonald's is run by pigeons disguised as humans. The staff is incompetent and unprofessional. The McDouble I ordered was covered in ketchup. It almost looks like they pushed it down a ketchup slip and slide before they gave it to me. They forgot my sauce for my nuggets and gave me some weird drink that wasn't Sprite. It tasted like a bunch of teenage kids stuffed a bunch of other drinks into one milk carton and gave it to me. The worst part of it was having to scream my order at the drive thru voice box thing because the person on the other side kept ringing my order up wrong. The drivers behind me now know how much of a fat ass I am. Thanks McDonald's, I should have listened to Wendy's mixtape and realized how trash you are. Service was great at the drive thru. The prices seem to have gone up. I paid over $8 for a quarter pounder meal, medium size fries and soda. The food tasted good, but my complaints are only 1 pickle on my burger and it looked like the burger had gotten smaller. The employees were all very friendly. That's about the only good thing I can say. For fast food, it was about the slowest I've ever experienced. And nobody seemed to know what they should be doing. Aweful, my food got thrown into the Togo bag unwrapped and they only had limited items.

The score would be zero if Yelp would allow it. First, I have kids, so sometimes we have to go to McDonalds. Second, it's the closest to my house and on our route from all of the things we do with our aforementioned children. I will not be going out of my way to go here again. The drive-threw is slow because you have to check you order to see what they left off. Today we almost drove off without one our kids meals. Not only do you need to check to make sure you have your order, but as today's visit proved, you have to check WHAT they put in. Today I receive a crispy chicken sandwich instead of a burger. We all know what to expect from McDonalds. But this place truly lowers the standard. IF we go to McDonalds, we will drive to a different one. Talk about a Hot Mess! Needed to take a break on the drive from Washington DC to RVA on Interstate 95. Figured most McD's were about the same, so it would be a quick place to stretch, use the facilities and grab a drink. Boy was I wrong! First, the restaurant is quite a distance from 95 and not clearly marked. Litter scattered around the parking lot, that should have been a sign. Entered the door and almost ran into a ladder, what the heck? Nobody appeared to be repairing anything that I could see and there wasn't any warning. Next, the restroom was nasty! Leaking faucet, ants, broken soap dispenser and trash were some of the issues. Husband struggled with cashier to order two sodas and no CO2 (carbonation) in the soda machine. Really? Attempted to share with an employee, but seemed to have some difficulty understanding the problem. Quickly make a detour! read more

Ya so what I get slightly burned from hot coffee jumping out my cup from the ice splashing in but it's all about the principle people. Most of the Yelp reviews are JUST AWFUL here. At the time I wrote this, this place had an average of ONE star. That's pretty bad. I'd give it one star too if it wasn't for the nice and kind people who are forced to play by the rules (no matter how silly the rules are) and on top of that they have to deal with difficult people like me. They've always been so nice to me and I've lived in the area for over a decade. I've seen it all at this McDonald's. I've seen this place go through floods, power outages, credit card machines go down, bathrooms broken, no TVs, TVs installed, and during the gigantic blizzard a few years ago they were the ONLY place open. No matter WHAT the reviews say this McDonald's will keep on going. The food is McDonald's. Let's face it. It's crap. It looks like crap, it will make you feel like crap 30 minutes later BUT it's so damn good. What's better than All American Big Mac, large fries, and a diet coke? Been here a few times and my order is always wrong. First time I ordered two Angus burgers, without delving into the specifics of how i wanted each burger, they were both wrong. Today I went in for an Angus burger and 5piece chicken selects...well I got my burger and then I got a Double Quarter Pounder. When mishaps like this happens it is entirely the fault of the the workers who actually fill the orders...its not the grills problem. How do I know? Cause I worked at McDonalds for 3 years....I'm just confused how a person can look at the computer screen, see a specific order, and then put the wrong items in the bag. Also yall aren't animals, so step it up one level and fold over the top of the bags...stop handing them to the customers as an open bag. Also the Drive-Thru personnel need a quick run through of how to properly take orders and their overall demeanor of being a customer service person. How about closing out your statement with each guest when they are done completing their order by saying "Your order will be $13.50 at the next window, Thank You"...in stead of "$13.50". I never write Yelp reviews, but after this experience I absolutely HAD to. After the remodel, the drive through was insanely packed and I waited in line for over 20 minutes, however, that wasn't the issue; the issue was that when I got to the window, they asked to check my receipt which I thought was strange. They then stated it was because the cashier was taking orders incorrectly and that they wanted to double check if the order was correct. After telling them my order, they gave me my food and I left all irritated. When I got home, I saw that THEY GAVE ME THE WRONG ORDER. After seeing that they checked TWICE, I went back to the Mcdonald's to complain and get my right order, but I waited for about 30 minutes before they gave me the correct order. What a terrible experience. Didnt even get my money back. Skip this mcdonald's and stick to the one on Fullerton road. read more

I have never gotten what I ordered at this McDonalds. Some of the screw ups have been almost funny though. After learning to inspect my order before leaving, I checked everything and was reasonably happy that the only thing missing was the caramel sauce for the apple dippers (they NEVER give caramel sauce) then I drive home to find my double cheeseburger has no cheese. WTF? A double hamburger doesn't even exist on the menu. So now I actually unwrap my food before leaving. The only reason I ever go is because I have two young kids who love McDonalds and it is the closest one to my house. Even so, I am usually only desperate enough to go once or twice a year. I prefer drive to the McDonalds on Rolling Rd. They, on the flip side, have the best service and have always gotten my order right... worth the extra drive! read more

My girlfriend and I decided to make a stop here with our 8 oriental children in the middle of one winter morning traveling from Saskatchewan. Feeling quite parched and slight starvation from not eating the night before, needless to say we were disappointed. They ran out of Jackie Chan Happy Meal toys for the kids so they continued they're rampage in the back seats driving me insane. It didn't help that the lady forgot my Jelly for my sandwich to add some layer of flavor to it. I feel bad for having the gentleman come outside to give me utensils when there was already some in the bag but my kids were eating their hotcakes with their hands and getting it all over my leather seats so, naturally, I was upset. He did come out after about 5 minutes of me waiting for him and delivered as promised, so aside from catching every red light and having to wait 10 minutes in between, in hopes that maybe we would move to this 18th century village, I would say my visit was pleasant. Horrible, disgusting disgrace of a mcdonalds. The women's room was covered in toilet paper, the soap dispenser cover was broken off and laying on the sink, the floors were filthy. The men's room toilet clogged beyond a one time use, it clearly had been clogged for awhile. My husband and my fries were late, and pretty crunchy but that can happen at any restaurant during dinner... We didn't even finish our food because there was food all over the floors and tables. No one was busing or cleaning tables between patrons. There were at least 3 employees near the front and the order line wasn't long enough to need them all. Someone should have been taking care of the filthy sitting areas and disgusting bathrooms. Or at least closing the swinging counter-height door between the employees and patrons... Which was standing wide open the entire time we "ate". I over heard a lady ask for the store number. To which the ordering employee asked why? She said she wanted the store number and never got a receipt (we didn't get a receipt either). The employee again asked why she needed the store number--clearly not willing to give it--and the lady said she needed it to file a complaint and the employee refused to give it to her. The lady said she would complain another way. At that point we were done with the store. We just gave up, threw what was left of our food out, and left. This store needs serious help. I am now questioning the quality of the food I did eat. read more

This is by far the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. It's so small that it can barely accommodate its own customers. Apart from size, the service is terrible. When we placed our order, the man behind the counter was obviously grouchy and annoyed. Our food took a while...at least twice the about of time it takes at other McDonald's restaurants. Many of the workers were on their lunch break at the time, which is fine of course, but not when they're shouting to their buddies that are still working behind the counter. The bathrooms, while nice, are not well kept at all. I walked into one stall to find a big puddle of liquid and a mess of toilet paper. The food itself isn't good at all. The whole McDonald's location is an embarrassment of the McDonald's chain. read more

Went through the drive through and immediately upon the first words out of the intercom was unprofessional. "Yeah what's up" "is that it"(after every single item I ordered). I then go to the second window after paying to collect my food and I requested Honey Mustard with my chicken strips and the male worker said "Say Whattt". He then handed me one large bag and I repeated my order and he said yes it's all in there. I pull off to the side and notice both fries were not in the bag since I had two meals. I walk inside and this Female employee was rude when I mentioned I was missing two medium fries from my order, her words exactly were "oh..", "yeah"... "what else you want". I live in the area so this is the McD's that I usually come to from home. Unfortunately, every single visit to this McDonald's has been a big disappointment. Workers clearly don't want to be there, much less serve any customers. And the food quality, even for a fast food restaurant, is really ... bad. I got the jalapeno burger from there today and yeah... I've had this burger two other times at other locations and they put at least a layer of the pickled and crispy jalapenos, and here, they just put three. But I was surprised that they even got the order right when I came here today, that's pretty rare. I was already upset with the negative attitude that the two cashiers that "assisted" me there. Meh. It's Mickey D's. It's gonna be what it's gonna be. I visited this location with my wife and daughter on a Thursday morning around 11 AM. There were two things about this particular visit that I wanted to point out. One good and one bad. 1. Good: the staff was incredibly efficient. nobody seemed to wait around for more than a minute or two for their orders. 2. Bad: they accidentally forgot to sweeten the sweet tea at the beverage station. When informed of this oversight, the staff told my wife that they would bring out some more. We were there for bout 10 more minutes during which the new sweet tea did not make an appearance. However the staff made zero efforts to remove the mislabeled tea nor inform customers that it was not sweetened tea. I imagine a lot of the take out customers had a disappointing surprise when they went to sip their drinks later. It's McDonalds, even though I hate it, I know I'll probably be back sometime, and I'll still hate it. read more

After reading all of the negative Yelp posts for this McDonald's, I'm thinking why ain't it closed? Speaking for myself, I have never had a problem with the service and the food. The building and location is problematic for me. The restaurant is quite small and located on the edge of the parking lot in a fairly busy strip mall. It has been my observation that most customers come in, buy food then leave, so the dining area is empty most of the time. The bigger problem is the encircling drive-thru. Customers on foot have to constantly be on their guard. read more

Im standing in this McDonald's as Im writing this. Its 90 degrees outside and the air conditioner in here is clearly not on. The young girl that took my order had on a manger type shirt but she was extremely unprofessional. I asked her if she has the TY Beanie Babies for the kids Happy Meal and she simply stated I don't know. I asked if she could please find out since my daughter only wants a happy meal if they have those. She blatantly rolled her eyes and walked over to ask someone. FYI they do not have them. After I finished my order she asked what kind of drink I said HI C orange. I stepped back with my number and waited. Then when a gentleman started to approach the counter after his number was called he slipped and almost broke his neck on a wet spot on the floor. He immediately told " the manager" who didn't apologize or anything and she waited until after the man left to just throw a yellow caution sign up in the middle of the floor. I should mention that the lobby had alot of people waiting. Someone should have come over to wipe up the water. To top things off when I got to the car and took a sip of my drink it was Orange Fanta Soda and not HI C orange...and yes there is a difference. I will go up the street to Wendys next time read more

What can I say that hasn't been said about this place already? Everyone who has reviewed this McDonald's before me is totally correct. The service and food is terrible. This is the closest McD's to me and in the 6 years I've lived in the area, not once has it ever surprised me with wonderful food and service. I could entertain you all with story after story of bad experiences, but I don't think Yelp would allow me the space. In three words, let me give you my honest opinion of this place -- GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Now, we all have our cravings and seeing the golden arches is difficult to pass up with these cravings hit. Even more so, these cravings tend to warp our sense of logic and make us think that perhaps, JUST MAYBE, this time will be different. Let me tell you, many a time I have succumb to such cravings and every single time I have been disappointed. It's one thing to have a fast food craving and receive the most delicious meal ever (it sorta justifies your eating food that's bad for you) and it's another thing to have the craving and be given cold and old food. You just feel that much worse AND you spent money! Another reviewer mentioned going to the one on Rolling Road. I've gone there many times in the past in attempts to avoid this McD's and overall my experience has been good, however, not perfect. If you're really craving McDs and do not want to be disappointed, I suggest going to the McD's in woodbridge next to the Exxon gas station on prince william parkway. It's drive through only, but let me tell you, you will not be disappointed. Over the many years of coming here, every burger has been hot and fresh, every nugget has been hot and crispy and every fry seemingly fresh out of the fryer. Their iced coffees are consistent in flavor, my order has always been correct, and they are not stingy on giving out sauces. In fact, from now on, I will drive the extra miles to that location when I have a craving just to avoid this other one. You have been warned. read more

If I could give them Negative STARS and write a review I would! This place is NASTY!!!!!! The worst McDonalds! The franchise should be embarrassed to even operate an establishment as such. The food is horrible, no matter if you ask for it to be made fresh or not. The customer service....OMG! Seems as if they can never get your order right. and Oh MY dont go inside, you would think something my jump in your bag as you leave! Food was typical McDonald's but we had to explain the order 3 times The big issue with this location is the size and the atmosphere. The establishment was VERY small and all but 3 tables were occupied by people who weren't even eating. Normally I wouldn't blame the company for this but the employees were all hanging out and being loud with them. I was there at around 6pm when the business would normally be busy and the drive thru was but inside there was no where to sit. My family and I were traveling and REALLY wanted to be able to go in and take a seat for a while. I will give them credit that the food was pretty well up to code, the employees seemed friendly enough, and the restaurant was clean. read more

I know, 4 stars?? I'm kind of shocked myself. I've been in here a handful of times and had mediocre service at best and probably a 50% success rate on having my order correct. Came in this evening as a treat for my son and was quite happy to find a happy, smiling, cheerful and proactive manager working and interacting with the staff. THIS MCDONALDS IS FUCKING HORRIBLE!!! Everyone inside is unprofessional. The women working the speaker don't aknowledge you at all. The managers talk about customers in front of other customers. They are rude as hell. Everyone is yelling at each other in front of customers wether they are at the drive thru or have customers in front of them inside. I never go to mcdonalds unless it is late at night and its the only thing open but this one regularly stops accepting credit cards after midnight. makes zero sense as I have never seen this anywhere else. On a road trip we stop for a drink and some nuggets, obvious road trip essentials, and they were all very pleasant. The girl at the window asked to take our empty cups we had in the cup holders when she saw I was moving them out of the way. Our fries were hot and crunchy, as well as our nuggets. I was surprised to see all the bad reviews. This has been my go to McDonald's for a while, since I live about 10 mins away. I'd rather eat in my car than sit in a McDonalds & eat, so I can't really rate the inside, since I never sit in there. But the food & drive through are good. Never any issues with my orders. Sometimes they're quick when speaking so that may come off as rude but they're just trying to rush I guess.
