Amazing service every time I come to this location. The drive-thru is hidden on the back side of the shopping center. As soon as you pull in go all the way to the right and pull for it like you're going to drive behind the building, then turn left and the drive-thru is right there. They really should add some more signage but those who know, know. Even though they don't have a curbside pickup option, I was able to order on the app and go through the drive-thru. The process was seamless, the food was piping hot when I got there, and what I really appreciate is that they never skip on the neatness or the aesthetics with my peppermint milkshake. They always add the whipped cream in the cherry and it always comes out looking as good as it does in the picture. Did I mention how nice everyone was here? Love this location. I came here on a Wednesday evening, when the restaurant wasn't busy, and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. When I went to use the restroom, both stalls were occupied by employees sitting inside on their phones. This continued throughout our meal, which made it clear that staffing wasn't being managed appropriately for such a slow night. The food was even worse. I've been a loyal Chick-fil-A customer for years, and this was the first time I've ever felt disgusted opening one of their meals. My chicken sandwich was overcooked, looked old, and tasted terrible. And this is third time they delivered wrong food, today I ordered egg & cheese chicken biscuits along with PJ cheese, which I paid extra for cheese but as I feared they delivered regular chicken biscuit, no egg, no extra cheese which I paid extra. Springfield, VA - At the emergency vet nearby waiting for results and needed to fortify ourselves a bit. Upon entering we noted this location was clean and tidy. It was a rainy day and the floor was being mopped by a friendly employee. We stepped up to the counter and learned that breakfast was over as it was 1035. Oh well. On to the lunch menu. The staff person took our order quickly and efficiently. Asked if we needed any sauces. We sat down and soon enough our order came out. The fries were hot and fresh. The sandwiches too. I realized I forgot ketchup. It's the one thing NOT available with the straws, mustard and napkins. However, the person at the counter helped me quickly and with a smile. Consistent with other recent reviews, this location leaves a lot to be desired. I've been coming here for quite some time, and it is on a perpetual decline. Although I will say that the employees are friendly, the order quality and order accuracy are inconsistent to say the least. For example, my recent order did not have the requested sandwich customizations or drink accuracy, and the fries were the wrong size. This is pretty par for the course at this location, and I go out of my way to mobile order to ensure my order is entered/ordered correctly. As others have said, the drive thru is also less than ideal. I find it to be managed okay sometimes but on other occasions there is a significant wait time without effective communication between associates--someone might ask for your order multiple times. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this location and I would strongly doubt it is meeting company standards in many respects. read more

I came here around dinner time during the weekend. Although this location is located in the middle of a shopping center, it surprisingly has a drive through going around the back of the building. However, all of the reviews are right! This location isn't the best for doing a drive through order or just in general for anyone with a car. At the traffic light entrance into the shopping center, the drive through line and shopping entrance line combined extended into the actual main road! There is another entrance that doesn't back up into the main road. However exiting the shopping center throwing either entrance can be tedious. The parking area was already pretty packed during this time too. They blocked off the actual entrance with insulated food carriers where pick-up orders are stored and it's the place where orders are taken and distributed. Thankfully, the sidewalk is expanded at this location so people aren't waiting in the actual street. However, it can get a bit crowded with all the business Chick-fil-A gets. As with any Chick-fil-A I've been to, the employees were courteous and efficient. I ordered some fries which tasted decent. Overall, the food and service is good but the location isn't that convenient for any driver. read more

Unsafe location. I attempted to dine in with my kids. There was a mentally unstable man pacing the restaurant, talking to himself, going in and out of the restroom, with pants unzipped. The worst experience I ever meet in my life about the service of Chick-fil-A. Here is the location: 6681A Backlick Rd, Springfield VA 22150. I went to pick up my order at the carry out section. After 15' waiting for the order, I asked one lady to check up my order and she said someone picked up my order already. I'm sorry? What am I supposed to do when it's not my fault and it's the employee's fault to give the order to wrong person. She also gave me the attitude and called one of her colleague to chec. Then, they called the manager to ask and the manager came. And oh my god, all of them didn't say anything to apologize for their mistake. They just remake my order without any guilty apology for their fault. This is the first time I have experience the best "service" of the Chick fil A????? I've been coming to this chick fil a for years and have always had a great experience. My orders were always correct, fresh, and the staff are very friendly and generous with sauces. Today was my first not-so-great experience. I placed an order at the drive through. The staff double checked my order for me. I confirmed it. Picked it up at the window and it was the wrong meal. I asked for my correct order and paid the extra money that it cost, then I opened the bag later and they put another wrong meal in my bag but by then I had already driven off. I ate my wrong item anyways but it tasted like it had been sitting out for a long time and was super soggy. My fries were also ALL crumbs and small pieces that were smaller than my pinky. read more

Normally the line goes fast; however the other line was going a lot faster than the line I was in. 4-5 cars that were behind me ended up in front of me. Chick-fil-A has their classic sandwiches, wraps, salads, breakfast items (chicken with a biscuit), and even desserts. My favorite item to always get is the Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich, extra well-done, with extra pickles. I love slathering some of that Chick-fil-A sauce on it, too! My husband usually goes for their Spicy Chicken or their regular Chicken Sandwich (but the Spicy one is just way too spicy for me - no joke!). This particular location is always hopping, almost as busy as the Fairfax location on 50! The staff here are friendly, but getting your food is pretty inefficient - however, you still get your food nice and fresh! My wife and I have come to this location a few times and we've never had a bad experience, even though this location is always extremely busy. We love chick-fil-a, the food here is great! The cool thing about chick-fill-a is that everything you order will have chicken, there is no beef on the menu, and the chicken is cooked to perfection (southern style). Whether you order a cripy or grilled chicken sandwich, the food is delicious. We also really enjoy the chicken nuggets! The cookies here are really good too, they are better than subway cookies and potbelly cookies, the cookies are warm and the chocolate chips are chunky.
