Should be renamed Slow Chicken! I went here twice while in town for work. Chicken was moist but not ver flavorful. But this place is SLOW! First time I ordered at the counter and it took 20 minutes. Second time I ordered online and it took 30 minutes after I'd arrived. It was busy with steady stream of customers but no reason a grilled chicken place shouldn't have chicken constantly coming off the grill. With exception of yucca fries, the sides are all pre-cooked. This place should be cranking out orders but it's like they had to go kill the chicken first. read more

This might be my new favorite place for Peruvian chicken. I was not a big fan of the previous Peruvian chicken place that was in this same location so this was a pleasant surprise. The chicken was very moist, flavorful and just perfectly cooked! The green sauce had a nice kick. We ordered the whole chicken with 4 sides: fried rice, yucca, green beans and the onion salad. It was the first time we dined at this restaurant. We had a half chicken (white and dark) meal with 2 sides (yucca and plantains). Everything in our order was absolutely delicious. The chicken pieces were juicy. It came with couple sauces that complement our order. I still don't know what yucca is but it kind of taste like white potato, very interesting. Ordered the whole chicken meal & 2 sides to go. Some of the most tenderous chicken I've had, and so much flavor. Stayed warm for over an hour unopened. Yucca and coleslaw were both great. The coleslaw was freshly cut, and peppery. Had a creamy dressing, but not overly creamy. While I was waiting for my order, saw the green beans and beans and rice & both looked excellent :) Fresh green beans vs canned is a huge plus in my opinion! Generous with the sauces also, 8 total for the whole chicken meal. Lots of menu options, a great spot for multiple palettes to be able to order something to enjoy. You have to forgive my half eaten photos. The food was so good we ate half of it before I remembered to take photos lol We got a family meal that came with a whole chicken plus three large sides and a bunch of sauce. Superchicken makes our mouths explode with joy. The chicken is flavorful, not over powering and done right delicious. No seasoning necessary and the yellow sauce is a nice touch. The plantains were cooked just like we enjoy them cooked, yet moist and semisweet. The service was patient and prompt. No line on Sunday at 7:00 PM for takeout and a very brief wait. The steamed vegetables were just okay - they had a taste that I didn't like. The Tres Leches dessert was good. Restaurant was clean and the service was friendly. So this is hands down my new favorite Peruvian chicken spot. I got the 1/2 only dark meat, with rice and plantains. Everything was cooked to perfection and the chicken was sooooooo juicy. The people there are super friendly which is always a plus, it makes the experience better. I was not a fan of the previous coco rico, the seasoning was so saltly and the chicken was so little for how expensive it was. The chicken here is pricey, but so worth it. Hands down the best yellow and green sauce. It's spacey too, so not so tight I will definitely be back for my pollo a la brasa cravings!!! So yum 10/10 read more

We had the Peruvian chicken which was hot, juice and delicious. It was seasoned well but I wish there was a more smoky element. The Peruvian chicken at El Pollo Rico is better but it's close. The sides we ordered were great and they gave us generous portion sizes. We had the yuca, French fries, rice with beans, beans, fried rice and plantains. Chicken was good. Fried yucca was also good even with travel home (most places when we get carry out too dry). Plantains was mixed- some pieces were soft and tender and others were not. Will change my review if I receive an answer from the owner. Why doesn't your company offer the purchase of additional sauces on DoorDash or UberEats? Every other Peruvian / Latin Chicken / stone makes it a point. Your sauces are good, and you can purchase them in person. Why not on online delivery orders????? Is it an oversight? I Won't be ordering delivery again because I can't order additional sauces unfortunately, it helps make the chicken and authentic flavors what it is. Feels like an easy fix. read more

Just had the most amazing meal at Superchicken and I can't stop raving about it! This place is like a one-way ticket to Peru through your taste buds. The vibes when you walk in are so chill and welcoming. The decor gives off those cool Peruvian vibes without trying too hard. The staff? Super friendly. Need to retrain staff on health and sanitation practices . There should be a Serv safe certified manager working on every shift. Staff accidentally served my food to another customer, the customer left the building with my food, the staff actually chased him out into the parking lot, took the food back from him, and tried to serve it to me! Illegal and against health codes. If this is happening in front of customers, I worry about how well their kitchen is maintained in the back out of view. I left without any food. read more
