some dude with tattoos working at McDonald's was being weird asl late at night. it's literally a 24 hour mcdonalds but he wouldn't let us pay cash for no reason and kept locking the doors. then he made my 12 yr old brother, 14 yr old cousin, and 13 yr old friend walk through the drive thru just to pay cash while it was cold outside. after they finally got the food he locked all the doors again and wouldn't let them back inside, so they were just stuck outside with their food. on top of that they still got the order wrong and gave my brother the wrong size drink even though that's what he paid for. 0/5 experience and honestly would never come here again. do better. read more

I don't usually complain about McDonalds. The staff here literally took an unfinished tray off of my table without asking for confirmation. This location needs to get their shiz together before someone makes another complaint or someone gets sued. read more

Long before the world went tits up We used to have a definitive way in which We all operated on a daily basis. Obviously Everything has changed since then. And now that some of Us are still adjusting to all this crazy shit, including My go-to breakfast spot, one thing remains a constant - I Still Gotta Eat, Lol. This is where this 24/7 McDonald's comes in handy. Throughout all this craziness this place has been safely operating at very solid level and everything I've ordered has been on point with friendlier than most service at the drive thru. Who knows how long things are gonna be like this, in fact they'll never be "normal" again but it is good to know that giant golden M sign is always lit up whenever My stomach starts howling. I was looking for a quick bite after driving out of NYC and McD's is usually a good, reliable place for expectation of food and service. We were very early in the morning and the only patrons that were inside the restaurant from when we arrived until we left. As far as getting the order right we went with 2 x the 2 for 4 and 2 coffees, one with double milk and the other with double cream. The coffees were marked properly (the little tiny sticker) so they did get the order right. Besides that the place was relatively clean. I had to ask for a packet of salt since they didn't have any at the counter, just pepper. They didn't seem to have ketchup at the self serve area where the drink fountains were but I didn't want any anyway. They do have mobile order check in spots but no electronic kiosks to order inside. There was sufficient parking when we arrived as I said we were early and all the parking seemed to be around the other side of the drive through. I did however have to wait a bit before somebody decided to come to the cash to help us when I was ready to order at first. There were 3 people behind the counter doing things and one looked right at me before another decided to finally come and take our orders. If I had to guess it was maybe 30 seconds. It wasn't really that long but it felt like they were all waiting to see which one of them "had" to come up to help us. It seems the "theme" of this particular McD's has something to do with racing. Probably one of the best Mcdonald's Locations around, the service is always very fast it was rush hour with cars wrapped around the building and at least over 15 people in the store and they got me my food to me in about 2 minutes when I ordered on the kiosk, The workers are also very nice and polite. 10/10 recommend to come to this Mcdonald's if you are going to go to any of them I come here all the time because it is right next to my job and they never disappoint. read more

This is a truly poorly run location. I am all for diversity in the workplace but the lack of English comprehension for a drive through associate is ridiculous. Regularly experience wring order syndrome from this location. I can't shrug it off anymore. I'll drive out of my way to avoid this place. There is another location around the corner in Succasunna that employs high-school kids. They mess up sometimes too but at least they are apologetic. Screw you McDonald's Ledgewood. I have poured out my last coffee that you got wrong and I am done trying to call to alert you to your own incompetancy. The phone is off the hook anyway. That's right they take the phone off the hook so they don't have to deal with complaints. These golden arches blow. read more

Disclaimer: I am a BIG McDonald's fan. Absolutely love it - I ordered a filet-o-fish meal today (taking advantage of my free meal as a healthcare worker!!) I stopped here on a road trip and had a very good drivethru experience. Service was extremely quick, order was correct. It was actually probably the quickest McDonald's drivethru I have ever been through considering how busy they were! Overall very satisfied with my experience :) read more

THE WORST MCDONALDS I HAVE EVER BEEN TO AND I LOVE MCDONALDS. It hurts me to see such an abomination of what McDonalds is all about. Consistently good food and service in a clean environment. The men's bathroom looked like a crime scene with broken tiles and a garbage bag placed over a broken urinal. It was the dirtiest McDonalds bathroom I have ever seen. The roof is about 5 years past its replacement date and visibly damaged and discolored. Parking lot design is flawed to the point of being dangerous as you need to park and then walk through drive through area from most spaces. Everything is dirty. Table tops, bathrooms, sinks, and area where you fix up your coffee was horrific. FOR THE SAKE OF THE FRANCHISE YOU NEED TO SHUT THIS LOCATION DOWN IMMEDIATLY and for the sake of all potential customers, the other fast food options on this strip of road should be your first option and a McDonalds in the next town over your next option. read more

Consistently positive experience at this location. They handle my breakfast sandwich changes effectively and unlike many other locations actually manage to include the requested sauces without one having to go back and request them again. Have yet to have a bad experience at this location - and delivery service meals have been accurate as well. read more

Just went through the drive through at this location. I was first in line and waited 6-8 minutes while my order was prepared. Pressure was mounting as other cars were piling up behind me so when the food was handed to me, I drove away. I received no receipt showing what the order was to include, but worse still, when i arrived home I realized the large fries were missing. Not the first time my drive through order was wrong at this location. Too much BS'ing going on between employees and not enough attention to detail. Bottom line, if you go to this location, order inside and check the entire contents of your order before leaving. read more

My grandson loves mcdonald's fries and of course the happy meal. Just once I would like to get the milk with the meal , they are almost always out of milk, Hint management, your employee's are using the small bottle to add milk in customers coffee. DUH buy some gallon bottles. Tonight's issue in Ledgewood, No milk and I paid for an extra side for both happy meals and didn't get it either one and no fruit slices. It was not busy and the employee who put the items in the box was either the boss or a senior employee, not a teenager. I understand its just a happy meal for a child, and the kid isn't going to complain, but I have to say this isn't an isolated incident, Mcdonalds seems to muck up something each and every time. But my grandson loves their fries so I guess we have to grin and bear it. We just don't have to like it. it would be nice if corporate had a place to send complaints. read more

I'm extremely upset & disappointed in the service I received today. We went inside the store to place our order. The manager was male & he was at the register, my husband (has a slight accent) started to order & the manager wouldn't make eye contact at all & as my husband ordered he kept entering the wrong order so I chimed in and continued ordering ( I don't have an accent) he still wouldn't make eye contact which is fine that was just rude not a big deal. We waited 15 mins to get our order which consisted of 9 items some were customized. He gave me 1 bag & said he had to get another bag. Finally received the second bag. We live 10 mins from that McDonald's. When we got home we noticed he did not put the grilled artisan chicken sandwich my husband was lunchless, fine I shared my food. Then my daughter she's 7 she's picky we said plain hamburger she had ketchup on it & didn't eat. I get we all have a bad day but today the combination of bad service coming from a manager, missing item,& made food incorrectly was just not fair. We don't eat fast food daily but when we do it's like a treat but this manager does not care about his position. I have restaurant experience. Unacceptable. It doesn't matter where you work ...you should have pride in what you do. read more

Ok so here's the sweet tea... again with the attitude. I do not understand what is wrong with this week (I'm starting to think it's me lol). We pull up through the drive through and we ask for a quick moment while we get our order together. Then we say "Alright we are ready" and we proceed to order. She then interrupts us and then yells, "ONE SECOND!", you can imagine our faces. Then we proceed to order with only minimal difficulty. We pull up to the window and wait a few minutes which I did not mind but we did not have a huge order. (At least we knew the fries were fresh. After about 6 minutes or so she hands us our food and then asks for payment, so we pay. She then hands us our receipt with her hand out the window not looking at us. We take the receipt and she starts working on another order. About halfway home we realize that we never got our drinks. So we turn around, check the receipt and sure enough we paid for drinks we never got. So then we drove back and sat in the drive thru lane. When we pulled up to the window, we asked nicely for our drinks and snootily with attitude the woman replied "Well you just drove off". She then gave us a half melted sad slushy that tasted like pure syrup and water, and poured a new iced tea. She then handed it to us and walked away from the window. To be honest I get that you may not like working there but I did not force you to fill out the application. As someone who works in customer service there is no need to be rude to anyone customer, or employee alike. read more
