How can you not love stopping in for a DQ cone as the weather starts getting warmer? Nice location and open all year round!

Hey Bill it's 15 degrees that's far too cold for ice cream right?? NEVER!!! Drove by and saw the 'Open' neon light and no line so I pulled in. Didn't know this location is open all year long despite not having a dine in area. Most practical folks use the drive thru window but I opted for the walk up so I could get a photo of the front of the store. The gazebos are all locked up so I ate in the truck. I ordered a small hot fudge sundae and a chili dog, the sundae went down first, followed by the chili dog which warmed me right up. Now that I now they're open I'll be back.

There's a line so it must be good!

I was a kid all over again! The line was extremely long but that simply confirms all the Dairy Queen fans out there. Oddly enough I enjoyed waiting as all of us on line told childhood Dairy Queen stories and salivated while trying to decide what to order. When I finally got my Heath bar sundae I sat at one of the tables in the cool evening air and savored my treat that tasted just as good as I remembered!

New York cheesecake blizzard! So freaking good!

We had a great experience at Dairy Queen! My husband got a ultra mocha frappe! He enjoyed it and i liked it.. great taste of coffee and chocolate. My son got hard ice cream with sprinkles and he was very happy with the ton of sprinkles he got. I got a new York cheesecake blizzard. Now this was the best $ spent on any item . It was amazing ! They make the blizzard with Graham cracker cubes instead of crumbs ! Wow, I loved every bite! I got a small and it was the perfect amount ! My blizzard had the perfect mixture of all the ingredients ! The staff was friendly and when I asked what the sizes looked like, they were accommodating. We sat outside in one of the gazebos . There was no wait because we went early afternoon . Overall yummy and fun!

They were awesome! Helped our special needs students practice social skills by letting them order individually their free soft serve ice cream for the first day of spring. Thanks Dairy Queen!!!!

Thank goodness my freezer didn't let me down like the guy at the Dairy Queen counter did.

I tried to order a hard ice cream flavor that was posted in both of the windows 'Jolted Cow' it sounded interesting. The guy behind the counter hadn't heard of it, couldn't find it, then suggested that I get peanut butter swirl instead. Ick. At least he could figure out a chocolate soft serve cone for my daughter.

The banana milk shake has made me forget about the butter-finger blizzard I ordered consistently in the past. The banana milkshake is always delicious with tasty chunks of bananas inside. The only reason why I gave it a (4/5) is bc it's never made exactly the way I like each time. I've also had it prepared where the banana chunks were too big to be consumed by a straw. Overall, it's a very tasty treat. I've always had good customer service. My kids usually order a kiddie cone which they always enjoy.

The chicken wings had a good crisp, the side salad I asked for was fresh, the cheese steak roll was pillowy soft and was nicely cheesy, and most importantly, the gentleman behind the bar who took our order was a fantastically nice guy The cons. The garlic parm sauce on the wings were a bit lacking and the amount of meat on the cheese steak was only half enough to really fill that long roll. And the most irksome thing was the 2,23 % "technology fee". No offense but WTH is that?????? If it was to use the credit card, it wasn't explained at all. I love the convenience of the kiosk ordering. Service was very quick, and everyone on staff was so kind and helpful. I was blown away by their gluten-free menu. They offer gluten-free buns for burgers and sandwiches, gluten-free crispy chicken, and even gluten-free desserts. I tried the Turtle Pie and the Lemon Raspberry Pie--both were delicious, but the Turtle Pie was truly to die for. This was hands down one of the best burgers and fries I've ever had. Gluten-free bread can really make or break a meal, and this place does it right. The gluten-free bun tasted fresh and delicious, the burger itself was incredibly juicy and flavorful, and the basil aioli was insanely good. I also ordered their specialty Cherry Cream Cola, and it was so good that I had to get a second one. It tasted like a fresh, sweet Cherry Coke and was the perfect accompaniment to the meal. I sat outside and brought my dog, and one of the staff members even came out with a bowl of water for him. Such a thoughtful touch that made us feel so welcome. It being dog-friendly is definitely a huge bonus for me. Amazing food, wonderful service, and one of the best gluten-free experiences I've had. I can't wait to come back!

***2 1/2 stars***…read more Maybe I'm just not into the concept of smash burgers, but I really didn't get the hype with this one. This was a special request from my top-tier chum from the Kingdom of Sussex, who'd been eyeing up this place for months and petitioned to come here after our NJ Bookstore Crawl adventures last weekend (I wanted to go to the only guaranteed high quality eating establishment in the Kingdom, Farmer's Daughter in Newton but was overruled by the home crowd). I'd heard some decent buzz about it myself and am always up for trying something that looks edgier than the average bear in Sussex, so off we went (even though I had a BBQ later in the day that basically had all of the food that was provided at this establishment - that's on me for sure). The entrance was a little hard to figure out; initially we went to the front of the building but there wasn't an obvious entryway and we belatedly figured out it was on the side. Some extra signage in that regard could go a long way, but not the biggest deal. We got inside, and that's what matters. Very clean and spacious, with some Western/patriotic themes; I can always get down with some longhorn displays and whatnot. The business model/ordering system is a little odd in that it almost offers too many methods, if that makes sense. It seemed like you could get normal table service, but there was also a counter where I think you could place a normal order, or a kiosk at the front to do so, OR a QR code at the table. Lot going on, and ambivalent on what to make of it overall - I guess it's better to have more options in theory, but I thought it was unnecessarily chaotic/confusing. We opted for the scanning of the QR code at the table, which was fine. My chum didn't realize you could tilt the QR display to get a better angle for your phone, but I'm certainly not going to blame Burger and Butcher for that 10 seconds of chaos. By far our biggest issue was the price point. Neither one of us is averse to spending money when the situation arises, but this was pretty egregious to the point where it really tainted the whole experience. We both got a burger and split an order of fries. That was the meal. Now, full disclosure, we got the "better" burger, the Waygu, which was 4 ounces and $15. Not worth it. I think part of is the smash burger of it all, but I definitely didn't notice the allegedly higher quality cattle involved, and I got it plain so no condiments to distract the palate from the essence of the bovine. I would 100% just go for the cheaper burger here, which is $10. The accompanying fries were fine (some were squishier than others, and those found their way closer to my chum for her consumption) but cost a separate $8. It reminded me of Zinburger, which probably isn't around anymore because they constantly gauged you with additional costs for sides like this. And THIS was wild - if you wanted ketchup? No problem. If you wanted literally any other sauce featured on the menu, just a little container of it? At least an extra $2. At a certain point, it's less about the price and more about the principle. And again - nothing we had was significantly better than what you'd get at Five Guys or Smashburger and for the price it should be. The staff was perfectly nice and since this is basically higher-end fast food, our meals came within five or 10 minutes. Fine on that front. But if I want to spend $30 for a burger and side (which is what this came down to, including tip)? I'm just going to go to a nicer, sit-down restaurant with more options and better food. Disappointing and I hope they really reconsider the pricing structure because in this inflationary environment, you're alienating potential customers before they even get to sample the animals.

Forget the single burger if you're a hungry guy, you'll without question need two of them. So you go with the double patty burger, and that's hovering around $10. Mind you folks, this is fast food!! It's a very tasty burger, I believe their motif is fresh and never frozen beef. And it tastes just as such, but $10 before fries? Ahh, the fries...a tad over-seasoned so I feel you have to request no or minimal salt. They also get extremely soggy in the bag as served, perhaps they should drain on paper towels before serving? Not sure, I'm not an expert in food prep but they barely make it home without being a drenched mess. While waiting, one can help themselves to in-shell peanuts and that's a nice touch. Also on the sodium-rich side, these little buggers will have you buying one of their large soft drinks in a hurry. Ahhh, give away a few cents worth of peanuts in exchange for selling more extra large sodas? Genius!! I would love to see that double burger come in at $6.99 or so...I feel that's the price point that doesn't want me to just hit one of my favorite taverns for their $12 burger with fries. But, Five Guys is close, it's consistent as heck, and the family loves it...so we'll be back. This would be five stars at better price point, but I have to rate the entire dining experience including financial commitment. If my entire family wants this treat, I'm in for well over $50 for fast food without a lot of extras.
