At first I couldn't tell if they were open. I wandered around the outside for a minute before walking away when suddenly a worker knocked on the window to get my attention to tell me they were open. Hey Bill it's 15 degrees that's far too cold for ice cream right?? NEVER!!! Drove by and saw the 'Open' neon light and no line so I pulled in. Didn't know this location is open all year long despite not having a dine in area. Most practical folks use the drive thru window but I opted for the walk up so I could get a photo of the front of the store. The gazebos are all locked up so I ate in the truck. I ordered a small hot fudge sundae and a chili dog, the sundae went down first, followed by the chili dog which warmed me right up. Now that I now they're open I'll be back. read more

Visited this location to redeem a birthday coupon I received on the official Dairy Queen mobile app. The worker informed me that the owner told them that they can only accept printed receipt coupons and not to accept official Dairy Queen mobile app coupons. It's crazy to think that the local Dairy Queen chains are so far behind compared to other companies. Even mobile ordering isn't implemented although it's an option on the mobile app. read more

I use to be a big DQ fan, then they raised there prices, and i still went because i liked there icecream. Then they raised there prices again and i decided that it was maybe worth going on rare occasion, and i guess they raised there prices yet another time because. When i stopped for a small blizzard, i was handed a cup that was the same size as they one they give you when you need to do a drug test and was charges close to 5 bucks for it! We had a great experience at Dairy Queen! My husband got a ultra mocha frappe! He enjoyed it and i liked it.. great taste of coffee and chocolate. My son got hard ice cream with sprinkles and he was very happy with the ton of sprinkles he got. I got a new York cheesecake blizzard. Now this was the best $ spent on any item . It was amazing ! They make the blizzard with Graham cracker cubes instead of crumbs ! Wow, I loved every bite! I got a small and it was the perfect amount ! Been here once, only 2 people on line but took 30 minutes to just order. Although they were very nice I don't understand the wait for ice cream but wouldn't recommend it with young kids because they wanted to sit around but with the Highway right there so it wasn't something I'd recommend to take young kids. But the wait...for real...had customers leaving and I was about to follow them. Went here yesterday for a quick pick me up for our 3 year old. Staff was so polite and they had a sign on their window that said how grateful they were that customers were still coming because it was keeping them open and they see that now more than ever with a big thank you! The banana milk shake has made me forget about the butter-finger blizzard I ordered consistently in the past. The banana milkshake is always delicious with tasty chunks of bananas inside. The only reason why I gave it a (4/5) is bc it's never made exactly the way I like each time. I've also had it prepared where the banana chunks were too big to be consumed by a straw. I've been to Dairy Queen all over New Jersey and this one far has the slowest service on the planet. I'm being honest. Every time I come here it's a 20 minute ordeal. But the more disturbing issue is the quality of the ice cream. The last two times I've been here, the soft vanilla ice cream has been watery and bland. It used to be thick, firm and creamy. I don't know if it's because it's winter time, or maybe Dairy Queen has changed the ingredients but something is definitely going on. Been going to this location for years and I never had a problem. I went there recently and the service was horrible! The server didn't seem to know what the vanilla and chocolate twist was (which is what DQ is known for) and didn't seem to know what was inside different blizzards. I got my items to go and the service was very slow. The ice creams were piled up and mushy. The blizzard was incredibly soft and practically liquid. I held a fundraiser this past weekend for a scholarship in memory of my son who passed away last year. Rizza and Yani, the owners of this DQ, were the best! The service at this Dairy Queen is horrible. I waited on line for 15 minutes on a cool night. Two people in front of me. The next window over sat on the bench and waited for their ice cream for 20 minutes after they ordered. I wouldn't dare go in the summer when it will be packed with people! This is a very strange Dairy Queen. There's a little sign in the window saying that if you don't tell them within three hours of the receipt but there's a problem that they can't do anything for you. It just seems like poor customer service to say this upfront. Something must've sparked this sign. Anyway I asked for a hot fudge Sundae and when I got it there wasn't any whipped cream on it. The girl looked at me with a straight face and said people usually don't want whipped cream on their Sundaes but we can add it if you want. And I said well that would be nice. So they added the whipped cream and I walked away. Just seems very bizarre that a Sundae doesn't have whipped cream on it as a default - isn't it just called ice cream with hot fudge then? Message to owner -- Get with the program train your people right and stop short changing custys. The time was 9:53pm and the ice cream shop was scheduled to close at 10:00pm. My three friends and I walked up to the counter and the 3 workers in the place stared at us and continued to ignore us. We stood there in the rain for about 3 minutes before one of the workers came to the window and asks what we wanted. We overheard one of the male workers say "Can these girls just get the hell out of here so we can go home?", which was very rude and unprofessional. The window was open and he did not want to serve us, instead he rather have made rude remarks. Then, we waited for 5 minutes to get our 4 blizzards and one of my friends order was completely wrong. I have such appreciation for a father and son corporation because they really do make it happen for anyone. I had the new peanut butter bash. it was tasty and for only 49cents i got double the topping. while i was waiting, i was dwelling on the fact that i have a 30 person party with 6hrs left and just decided to maybe ask if they could do something. The owners son Rizzo was fantastic. as busy as he was he made my party by making it happen for me. These are the types of things that make cusotmers loyal.
