The owners have been there forever and their ice cream is the best in Morris County. They train the most professional servers who scoop with a smile. The girls behind the counter said to ask JOHN, an owner(his dad is also an owner) & when I showed him my melted icecream & that I would pay for an extra scoop, and you know what JOHN said? He said they can't add it to my existing cup & turned around (to my surprise & delight) scooped up a "healthy size scoop" into a sept cup, ON HIM, $0!!!!! I told my husband- omg, now he has a customer for life! So cool! That one act of kindness was sooo nice. And we chatted (even tho it was soo busy - he took the time to answer my questions about the how long it take to a big jug/gallon container and he said 15 min- from start to finish! And he said he loves his job bc he can make as many flavors/combos he can think of & it turns out to be a real creative process. I asked the woman behind the counter if they allowed tasting and she said no. Since a couple of people in my party already knew what they wanted, they went ahead and ordered while the rest of us continued looking over the flavors. As I looked around the shop, I noticed the man and his daughter each had several sample spoons in their hands. To make sure I wasn't mistaken, I asked him if the employee had given them samples, and he confirmed that she had. The man appeared to be of Latin descent, as was the employee. My party was not. While I can't say for sure why we were treated differently, I was disappointed that we were told samples weren't available when another customer had clearly been allowed to try several flavors. Rather than confront the employee, I paid for the two orders that had already been placed and we left. Had I realized beforehand that samples were being offered to other customers and not us, I would not have placed an order at all. One person in my party ordered one scoop each of passionfruit, black cherry, and mango. After they started eating, they realized the mango scoop was missing from the cup. They did enjoy the passionfruit and black cherry flavors though. The person ordered the cappuccino flavor but did not enjoy it at all. Overall, my experience left me feeling unwelcome and disappointed. The inconsistent treatment between customers, combined with the incorrect order, means I won't be returning. I hope this was simply a misunderstanding, but based on my experience, I cannot recommend this shop.

The star of the show, recommended by one of the lovely girls behind the counter was the raspberry brown butter soft serve ice cream. Truly a unique and delicious flavor! Great service, the girls were so sweet and helpful. This has definitely made it to my rotation of ice cream joints in the area!
