Worst drive-thru ever. Latest " adventure". Ordered a double quarter pounder with cheese. A 20- piece Chicken McNugget with Hot Mustard sauce and a Diet Coke. What I got? Two double quarter pounders with cheese with no sesame seed buns and a Diet Coke. I blame myself for not checking because I was in a rush but the order person even restated "20-piece with Hot Mustard". How does that happen? read more

This mcdonalds has the best playplace in the area! It is always clean and has a family restroom to easily change your babies. Highly recommend a stop here if your kids want to play and you need some hot coffee. read more

McDonald's - Indoor McDonald's play place - Fast Food Near Me - Leander, Texas

I am really not a big fan of McDonald's and before moving to the area never went to them because I much prefer other burger chains to them. That being said, there are not many options in Leander so we gave them a try. This McDonald's location is always busy with a line at the drive thru but they manage to be fast and the food is fresh. I wish there were more burger options but realize that is not how McDonald's are and the food I do order is great quality compared to the McDonald's I've gone to in the past. read more

Even in the busiest parts of the day, my food comes out quickly. I don't go to McDonald's a lot, but when I do, I'm always more than satisfied with the service, the speed, and the quality of my food. I come in expecting chicken nuggets and I leave with chicken nuggets. I'm a happy camper. read more

In general I despise Mcdonald's, but this location is the worst. I caved and gave into my kids who wanted to go to McDonalds. I agreed against my better judgement and decided that the drive through was the way to go. Order placed....money paid..food delivered. Pulled up to check my order and surprise, no ketchup, straws, napkins or sauce for nuggets. The sauce thing really bugs me because they ask you which flavor sauce you want and add it to your ticket. So I have to park and go in because I cannot leave the kids in the car which undermines the whole reason for utilizing the drive through in the first place. I was iritated but polite when I explained to the teenager behind the counter that I received no napkins, straws, ketchup or sauce. His response, "We put napkins in every bag.". I knew this was going nowhere so I asked for a manager. Manager shows up and I politely inform the manager of the situation and that the associate at the counter did not seem to have any concern for the mistake. His reponse, "Sir, we put napkins in every bag.". The other patrons at the counter waiting to order who witnessed this just started laughing at the response. Well, poor management = poor employees and poor service. After getting ugly with the manager and telling him "Every F&*$ing bag has napkins except mine" I finally got 1 straw, 1 napkin, 1 ketchup and 1 sauce(not even the one I asked for) from the manager. Now I am really pissed...Family of four, kids in tow with me, he has looked at my receipt and seen 4 drinks on it, and he gives me 1 straw. So I have to ask again for 3 more straws a few napkins, perhaps a handful of ketchup and the correct nugget sauce. So-the manager is a douche bag, the training is obviously sub par, the service is terrible and as always, the food is your typical crappy quality McDonalds. I have no idea why kids love this place...they must have kid crack in the food! read more

Terrible customer service,I have had multiple problems with this location. Today at the second window I was handed a large soda instead of the ice coffee I had ordered. I immediately said oh I ordered an ice coffee. The woman grabbed the soda and then franticly started making the coffee. I could see her rushing around to make it. When she handed it to me it was only about half full. She didn't even say a word to me the entire time and I left feeling like it was an annoyance to get my order correct. read more

We've been here before but today the staff must have been really off. Not only did we have to ask for our drinks after waiting 10 minutes -- they'd erased it from the system!! -- but two others were complaining as well. I found it interesting that the employees were dealing with the upset people and not the manager. I only know she was the manager because of friend of hers came in and they were chatting. Let me just say, I have my Mickey D's crave and i love McDoubles and McDonald's fries, its my guilty pleasure. However, this McDonald's likes to add 10, 20 cents to every order, not sure you are seeing employee fraud. But I always see the "small fries" that is suppose to be $1.19 as advertised on the drive thru menu.. always charged $1.29, and mcdoubles, 10 cents more, every time, when I point it out, the cashier always says they will let someone know, not sure who that someone is. Not against low wage workers getting $30 to $50 a night, but not at my expense. Change your drive thru menu if you charge more. Just saying.. OMG..I love Mcdonald's chicken nuggets can't get enough of them sometimes. Did you know that they have a 20 piece meal for 7.99 my husband I share this meal. I use to stop by in the morning for my coffee and stopped going there cause it seems everytime I go they are getting their morning deliveries and that huge truck blocks the drive thru. If I could give a negative amount of stars, I surely would. For their sake, I'd like to say this is their first strike...but it's the final straw after an unbelievably long string of visits resulting in the worst service and/or missing food paid for...in any case tonight, we went to the drive through and hear the total to be $12.60. We handed the guy a 20$ bill and sixty cents. He then said by the way your total is 12.16...but it's ok, and didn't give me the chance to hand him the correct change. Ok, no big deal...but then he says I hit the exact change button but it's ok because here's your change. Hands us 44 cents and 6$. So I say to him, you owe us two dollars still. And he starts to argue. Then his manager who can't speak Spanish argues with him and tells me we owe you $7and change. I said, no you owe me 8.44 back for the 20.60 I have paid. She gets angry and practically shoes us away like we're just such an annoyance for demanding the change we're owed. when the cashier and the manager were discussing our "crisis" we even heard. Him say yeah but I'm just going to give them the $8 to make them happy since they are being so difficult. OMG! OH, and when I finally looked at the receipt, he had not even pressed "the exact change" button...it shows he actually input that we gave 12.60. but he argued...they both argued that we weren't owed 8$ with our change...absurd! Maybe don't be on the register if you're that bad at math!!! 20.60-12.16 equals 8.44! And one more thing...when we did the math on our phone calculator, the manager refused to look at it and only got angrier with us as if we'd done something so offensive by asking they just give us back what we're owed!!! We'll never go back, we were already on the fence with them...and will be sure to tell everyone we know about how the multi billion dollar enterprise tried to make us feel bad for thinking we deserve our rightful money back!!! read more

This McDonalds is seriously awesome. The service is always great- friendly and fast. The food is typical McDonalds. The staff is always great about letting kids pick their toys and they always remember to give sauce with nuggets and carmel with apples. The restaurant is clean, with a few tables having video games on them. The bathrooms are tidy and maintained. Best of all, the indoor play center for kids is CLEAN! There's also plenty of parking. I have been to this McDonalds several times, every time I go thru the drive thru there seems to be an issue. 1) they are slow 2) get the order wrong 3) you don't get napkins, straws, condiments etc. 4) no receipt 5) promise to do things and not do it. I live out of town so it takes me about 30 -35 minutes to get home and then to find my order is wrong. So they say come in and they will make it right but it can only be that item and will not exchange for something the same price. That is not easy when I don't always come into town for one and the other, in the mornings to get the right breakfast. Its bad when Leander does not have that much to choose from STILL, so we have to deal with bad attitudes and sloppy service. read more

I agree with every complaint on this site. This store has HORRIBLE service, they can not get an order right and god forbid they put the lids on the cokes tight. Two weeks ago I was handed my coke and it explodes on my car, the guy working in drive through just looks at me. I hand it back and ask him to get me a new one.. "uhhhh ok" is the response. This morning I have 4 cokes and the woman working drive through hands me to carrier, as one coke spills, I tell her to fix it. She gives me a dirty look. I get home and yeah... they screwed the order up AGAIN. Is this store a franchise and the owner just doesnt care? This area is building up fast. Ordered a smoothy and a fry for my son. Got the frys and was told we needed to wait for the smoothy. 30 minutes later we had not heard or seen anyone from inside so I went inside to see what was going on. Looks like they might have broke the machine but leaving a customer sit outside waiting for 30 minutes should not happen and they should have came out and to let me know with my money. For the price of that smoothy I wonder how much gas I wasted waiting there. The workers seem nice but the management needs to step up to plate when they have issues like this. read more

This fast food place is pretty good for kids who just want to have some fun with friends and family I personally do not recommend anyone to come and just eat unless you are on a low budget but if you do decide to come and eat be aware that your order will probably be different than what you said and the people working there never have a smile or a grin on they're face the food is pretty good at times when the place isn't busy but just keep in mind that this place is mostly for kids. read more

I have lived in Leander before there was any talk about any fast food chain opening here. We had Sonic and that was it. I have a craving for McDonald's fries no matter where I am living or traveling. When I found out that they were building a McDonald's here I was more than excited! This McDonald's has been a disappointment from day one. My biggest complaint is COLD FRENCH FRIES! I don't know how they manage to give me COLD FRIES when the line is long and the parking lot is full of cars. Surely other people are ordering fries so they should be cooking them pretty fast. I've been to this location about 5 or 6 times since they opened up. My order has never been correct from these guys. I started tallying how many times this has happened, and can't believe its been 5 separate times. How many other people have experienced the same thing? Its actually kinda funny. I'm not talking some elaborate order. I feel compelled to actually let someone know today, because this justs baffles me! Previous Incidents: 1) Ordered a sausage biscuit and large coffee w/5 creams & 2 sugars. Received a sausage biscuit and small coffee w/ the abovementioned proportions of cream/sugar, that is alot of cream in a small coffee. 2) Ordered a double quarter pounder w /cheese. Got a single. 3) Ordered a chicken biscuit combo. Didn't get my hashbrown. 4) Ordered a large coke. Didn't give me a straw. I discovered it is impossible to drink a large coke without the lid while driving and without spilling it all over yourself. 5) Today I ordered a sausage biscuit and large coke. They gave me a diet coke, which I find disgusting. I really would like to see this place succeed, but they aren't going to be getting repeat business for very long if everyone has the same experiences I've had. I've also noticed after looking this over that I am on the losing end of most of these incidents. Its not like I order a small and get a large. Saturday early morning, went through the drivethrough for breakfast for myself and two kids. Had an irritating experience. "We don't have decaf iced coffee." Whats so different about them using decaf rather than the regular pot to make this with milk and splenda so they are no starbucks but whatever. I'm looking over my receipt and realize they forgot my daughter's hotcakes. No problem, I pull up to the 2nd window and tell them and say you know I said I wanted this as well but he didn't put it on the order. I handed them my debit card to pay for the hot cakes. The guy says "ok, pull up to reserved spot one." And I do. They bring out my hot cakes and debit card and the girl was like "you forgot this stuff.' umm I forgot it? And I pulled up to the reserved spot seeing if you guys would catch onto MY mistake? What? Then I leave, and ten minutes later my daughter was like "I didn't get my chocolate milk." So.....I had to stop at a gas station to get her a drink. Fail. read more

Well I don't expect to much from McDonald's but I was extremely disappointed this time. My burger was stale my fries were old and soda was sticky. I realize that they don't care but at least give a small smile or thank you or something. It was almost noon when I got into line and started the long wait. My daughter wanted McDonald's and that's the only reason I keep going. They used to be ok (At least they would wipe of the soda cup before hanging it to me) but they have continued to go down hill for about a year now. I'm afraid that they will serve raw food and my little one will get sick. So I think I'm done with this McDonald's. I would rather drive an extra 10 minutes to the next one and make sure no one gets food poisoning from a McDonald's that hates the people that gives them money. I have just about had it with these people. This is by far the closest McDonalds to me and I have three kids so I keep coming back hoping it will be better than before. So far it hasn't. I would say that 5 out of 6 times I go through the drive through, the order is wrong. If that was an exaggeration, it would sound pretty typical but it isnt...at all. Literally 5 out of 6 times! They simply do not seem to care about getting your order correct in the drive through. It is almost guaranteed that you will have to go in and get it corrected, or you will check and and not realize its wrong unless you open each box or wrapper because they will put the wrong food in the individual packages. You'll find that little surprise when you get home and your picky 6-year old is having a cow because her food is completely wrong. All I can say is take the time to check every item EVERY TIME!
