Used the drive-thru on a recent lousy weather day. The drive thru was extremely busy (the dual-lane order kind) I always wonder how they keep the orders straight but they do. We ordered a quarter pounder, a 10-piece mcnugget and a cheeseburger and large fries The first two qualified for the BOGO for $1. Order was $15.50. Yep, prices are getting up there. Paid, got to the window, and a pleasant kid informed us 'we're working on a fresh hot batch of fries for you, please pull up to the waiting spot'. And soon enough our order was handed to us. Order correct, food perfectly cooked per McD standards, everything as expected. I LOVE that McD's uses paper packaging for most everything, thanks for staying GREEN! I absolutely DESPISE the new digital menus. Seems impossible to find things. Otherwise this would be 5 stars. read more

I love McDonald's, but this location sets the standard. I personally find it to be near flawless. I will detail my one issue at the end. First, let's talk about food. I think there's less chance for errors, cold food, or rushed assembly, unlike the other two locations in town. Obviously the actual quality barely varies from any location in the world. I always find the service to be incredible. Nice, fast, and they generally seem to enjoy their job or be very experienced. Unlikely to have both...that's a joke. Ambiance is incredible. I thought the original location (torn down a decade ago) was great, but it was old McDonald's. This new one is cleaner, more modern, and spacious. Here's the one flaw: this location is significantly more expensive than either Longview location. Apparently my Grandma asked an employee, to which they responded that yes they increase prices regularly "sometimes every three months, sometimes every six months." Here's what I have to say about that: As long as it doesn't become the Walla Walla location, where a McDouble is DOLLARS PLURAL more expensive than a Big Mac...I'll let this slide. Overall, I do feel you're getting your money's worth. Employees seem to care, location is high quality, and so is the food. We stop in here often when passing through for a late-night snack! The staff was as always fun and friendly. Our order was perfect and as fast as possible, we had several cars with big orders ahead of us ($36-$48+). Everything was hot/cold as it should have been. The drive-through staff are always upbeat! As far as we have seen over the many years we have stopped in at this location, everything is always clean and tidy! I always feel safe stopping by here day or night! They are open 7 days a week 6am-11pm. Sometimes we park to stretch our legs (including the 4-legged passengers) or stop in at the Doller Store across the parking lot. read more

Upon the eventual return of the manager, I stating that I am not interested in using the kiosk to order, the short in height manager was nothing but attitude after that. * First time I've ever gotten horrible food poisoning from a McDonalds. * First time I've ever been food poisoned by coffee!! I stop here regularly, for coffee, on my route from Portland to Seattle, several times each month. They're generally very friendly and fast compared to many other fast food restaurants. I stopped in on 4/17/19 to order a chocolate chip frappe from the drive-thru. Within an hour, and after not having eaten or drank anything else beforehand, I was HORRIBLY sick. I had stomach pains that forced me to pull my car over on the side of I-5 several times. By the time I made it to my destination I was sick, in awful pain, and had a fever. I resorted to calling my nurse line in the middle of the night, from the bathroom floor, and was advised to go to an urgent care or emergency room for E. coli infection. It was a mild case that didn't require me to be hospitalized but it took 3-4 days to feel back to normal again. I wouldn't have ever thought I could get that sick from just a cold, blended, coffee. I wasn't able to eat for about 2 days after the incident, and I don't think my digestive track has ever been that empty in my whole life. I've always thought about doing one of those body cleanse things I see ads for but this experience has changed my mind!! I've always wondered what happened to that Barbie doll shoe I ate when I was 4 and that penny my brother dared me to swallow when I was 7 but I'm whole heartedly assured now that its not still in there!!! Please consider doing a VERY thorough cleaning of your restaurant, your equipment, and all of your products so that others won't continue to get sick from here. read more

Went thru the drive-thru and presented my military ID for the military discount today. The manager who has curly dark hair and wears glasses, came to the register and said "sorry but we stopped offering the healthcare discount 2 months ago." Then she ran away before I could figure out what was going on. I looked at the cashier guy and said why was she talking about a healthcare discount when I'm clearly holding a military ID?! The guy just rolled his eyes and said to pay for my order. The stupidity is awful here. They don't care if you get your discount or not, you could have a megaphone saying I'm holding a military ID and they wouldn't get it. Went through drive through to get my kids and I dinner and try to order the cup meal they are advertised on there board and all just to be told they no longer do them anymore very frustrating specially since there still advertising them on the munue screen and on there building . So finally drove up to pay and after paying I get told to pull up to there waiting window to set there and wait for the longest time for two happy meals just for them to forget the drinks . Dear Mr Ronald, I am VERY unsatisfied with my experience at this location. While going through the drive thru, the cashier politely told me "I will be with you in just a moment". No problem, so we wait. 3-5 minutes go by, so I say "hello?" And my response was not acceptable. She then responded with a very rude tone saying "I SAID I'd be with you in a minute." I decided not to order from there and just go up to the window and ask for a manager. When i pulled up and talked to them, and then proceeded to the next window for my food. We were able to see who was supposed to originally take out order, and she knew and gave us a little smirk and thought it was funny. I believe that is very unacceptable as I also work in customer service and would never treat a customer that way. I understand everyone is human, and we can have bad days. Disappointing, stopped by this location on a road trip and what a mess it was. Ordered a cheeseburger with extra pickles which after 10 minutes of waiting came out with absolutely none. Also ordered some chicken nuggets and ranch, and after opening the bag ranch had exploded all over the bag and everything inside it. Not to mention my cheeseburger also had ketchup dumped all over it, so gross. They did give me 11 nuggets instead of 10 but that didn't compensate for the service at this place. read more

Ordered several things two McChicken's with add pickles and ketchup they had completely forgotten both patties on both burgers as well as ordering a triple cheeseburger with no pickles no onions and they forgot one of the patties as well then proceeded to take the food back during Covid which was not a problem but the issue was when trying to resolve got a serious attitude and the same Burgers back with the patties pickles and ketchup added so evidently didn't need to be thrown away it's a bunch of kids working either that or really slow adults. These folks were on top of things! They were swamped, mostly in the drive thru, but the manager was pushing the crew to work hard and not keep people waiting. We had a huge order which came within about 5 minutes. Everything was piping hot and fresh - no rubber Egg McMuffin here. And everyone was smiling too. The restaurant was clean and tables were being cleared around us. Overall, one of the best McDonald's experiences ever. I rarely, if ever, write a review for a chain restaurant experience, as one tends to have the same expectations for food, service, and ambiance, at any other of a chain's many locations. However, this McDonald's experience stood out to me and it stood out because of Molly. On Sunday, September 9, my sister and I were returning from a weekend trip to Portland to eat our hearts out. We stopped in Kelso to re-fuel and re-caffeinate for the remainder of our drive home. Molly was manning the register and taking orders for the patrons and greeted us warmly upon our arrival. She greeted every single customer with such warmth and genuine kindness that one rarely finds in a chain or non-chain establishment. My sister asked me to write a Yelp review because we both appreciated Molly's customer service that evening. She told me, "if you don't, then I will!" That reaction confirms how rarely we encounter staff like Molly. Upon ordering a coffee, she offered to make a new pot for us, and she did. While we waited, we saw her interact with customers from every walk of life with the same kindness. From an older man returning from a fishing trip, who she seemed to engage with even more so, by asking him about his catch, to a young girl who had come alone and was spending some hard-earned cash on dinner. We witnessed her interactions as we waited for the minutes for the fresh coffee to be brewed. Yes, it was strong and yes, we did get home safely and soundly. Overall, I'm writing this review because Molly's customer service exceeds expectations I have for staff at Michelin star restaurants I have dined at. If her customer service sets the bar, then this McDonald's should be highly rated in no time at all! read more

Came in today about 11:50am Not too long of a line however it was busy none the less. Standing back watching this poor young girl running around, while I can only presume was the shift manager (blonde, heavyset woman) on the outside of the register closest to the door, talking up a storm with someone all in brown for a good 15 minutes. Meanwhile this young lady bussing tables running a register and putting orders together delivering trays to the tables, while this other person was perhaps on a break? If that's the case them move to a table, or other place other than in the way. Neither way she wasn't about to help. Floors filthy, informed the blonde ponytail person the womens rest room was out of towels, evidently they're allowed one roll per day. What???? WOW besides you could have used the blowers. Yes I'm aware of that, however it is nice to have a paper towel to use on the handle it's a proven fact that open toilet flushing germs travels a good 6 to 8 feet, being in an enclosed space that's pretty GROSS. I applaud the young lady busting her butt to make her Guests welcomed. So I know it seems odd to review a mcdonalds as they are very common and should all work the same but this location is far more unique. I've eaten here probably more then I'd admit but for very good reason. The thing that sets this place apart is the staff, the employees really do there best to make you happy and the management are well trained and decisive. I worked here for over 6 months and it was the most awful soul crushing experience. lots of my coworkers experienced sexual harassment and there was no repercussions for the manager at fault for a long time, the GM Liz doesn't enforce a good work environment and made life hell for those coworkers who eventually tried to ask her for help with their situation. We arrived shortly after 12 and expected a line since it was during lunch. As we walked in, an employee was emptying out the garbage and I thought -- maybe this location is really clean. NO. The bathroom is gross and the changing table is over the toilet in the wheelchair stall. Over the toilet? No paper towels...just the air dry. Had to grab additional toilet paper so that I could open the door to leave. The line moved in a quick fashion and our cashier was the only bright spot of our visit. She was quick, professional, and polite. Our food? We waited FOREVER. Those, whose numbers were after ours received their meals before us. How was that ok? Someone called and the employee was talking on the phone (couldn't tell if it was business or personal) while trying to bag my order in one hand. Taking forever, she accidentally gave my son's happy meal two fries but no drink. She didn't give us any drinks and couldn't hear me say, "Excuse me" since she was on the phone. Having to wait with a fussy child is not fun but having to wait because of someone's incompetence is intolerable. Finally we received our meal. It tasted just fine -- it's McDonalds. I always appreciate the apple slices in the happy meals but man -- we will NOT stop at this location again. I will go to the next exit to get food before I stop here again. Went through the drive through, placed my order and the worker didn't read my order back to me. Picked up my food from the window and turns out she had added an extra item that I hadn't ordered. So I parked and walked up to the door with my mask on, receipt and extra mcchicken in hand to get my money back. The manager came out and rudely greeted me with "what's the problem?" This McDonalds was probably the worst one I have ever been to. The men's bathroom urinal was out of order. The floor in the stall area was covered in urine. I'm glad it had been raining out so I could "wash" my shoes. We kindly mentioned the dirty bathroom to a female employee. She told us they had been notified. Today I went and the drive thru took 20 minutes and it was not busy. There was nobody at the first window even though I was told to go to the first window.
