Currently on a monopoly McDonald's binge. Keeping my fingers crossed I win a new car. Lmao. Wish me luck:)

Very clean McDonald's with quick service. The fries were fresh a big plus! Prices are definitely much higher than the States but expected. Was hoping to see how different the menu is from Hawaii to the States but didn't catch much of a difference. Maybe the breakfast varies more than dinner.

I love this McDonald's near OGG, as a rainbow brought me here. Everything is so clean and I used the App to order. With your order, keep the receipt to get a BOGO sandwich with survey. The food was hot and really delicious! I can't say enough good things about this perfect McDonald's!!

Came back here for some more coconut pie while on vacation - boy - talk about inflation! The coconut pie was $3.79 plus tax came to $3.97 - for ONE pie!!! Not sure it's worth it at that price! I was just in sticker shock!! Would have tried the spam and rice but missed it on the menu. BTW - it's been a while since I've been here, found out the saimin noodles no longer available in Hawaii because the supplier closed down. I was bummed and looking forward to it.

Ordered through app and picked up there. Food was made well overall and no complaints in that end. Restaurants are locked behind a code and there was no one to be found to give us the code. The one person behind the counter was hiding and laughing on her phone until we yelled to get her attention. Interesting interaction but overall decent.

Was looking forward to the hopia pies but they're fresh out. Had to stay for spam and rice though. Sucks they only give you 2-pieces - would have killed 4 more easily. The ladies are nice - they won't give you the code to the restroom, they open it for you.

We were excited to try the spam rice and egg plate since that is not on the menu at home. After placing our order at the kiosk, we were told they don't have rice OR the guava pastry. What!? Sadly we had to get hashbrowns and cinnamon roll instead.

After 3 tries, the clerk at McDonald's finally made my chocolate dipped cone, but check out that big gash in my cone!

Of all da McD's on Maui, this location is probably the one I go to the most because it's near the airport. Most times when I do decide to stop by here, it tends to be in the very early morning hours (when I have to fly into Maui before my customer accounts open). I usually stop by for a breakfast sandwich, & coffee - did I ever mentioned to you folks that McD's sells their great coffee for a $1.00? DEALAGES Yo! But my most recent visit to McD's was due to their new advertisement of their new "Spicy Chicken McNuggets!" Now how many of you folks ate these nuggets as a kid???? I bet for all you spicy lovers out there that like it hot, McD's has answered your prayers with this new offering!!! Stopped by McD's after having my lunch, yes gang, I ate lunch before I came here, call be a - P.I.G., but don't judge! Buwahahahahahaha! Walked straight to the ordering counter and ordered myself a (6) piece Spicy Chicken McNuggets with the new MIGHTY HOT SAUCE, and put down my ($3.39) on da table. Quickly the staff at McD's delivered da goods to me............ What can I say about the new Spicy Chicken McNuggets??? Honestly, the Spicy Chicken McNuggets didn't taste spicy at all! Either I'm Jaded that I've eaten my share of hot & spicy food so my taste buds were blunted, or maybe the spicy is actually in the sauce???? Also, my spicy nuggets were kinda like "overcooked" & on the hard side, ugh! When I dipped my nugget into this "Mighty Hot Sauce", McD's came through with "SPICY"!!!! Man O-Man was it HOT!!! Das what I'm talkin' about!!! Now if only the nuggets weren't overcooked, would I have given McD's that extra star! Well if you're not into their nuggets, by all means, McD's has a pretty large menu of stuff I'm sure you may find something that will appeal to your palate. I'm mostly a fan of McD's breakfast items...........burgers, not so much. Ice Cream? Sure, why not! And coffee at $1.00? How can go wrong??? So there you have it, the report (from da Chicken King) about da new Spicy Chicken McNuggets. :D

Legit question, does this location ever have ice cream? I feel like more times than not, they can't make my shake or mcflurry or ice cream cone. Really disappointing not to get my vanilla shake on my last visit, but let's be real, I probably didn't need that shake anyway. Lol. In any case, this McDonald's is pretty convenient. I stop by sometimes before or after I get some clothes dried at the laundromat next door. It seems less busy than the McDonalds on Puunene and it gets the job done for the most part. This last visit earlier this week was kind of odd though. We sat at the drive through for maybe 3 minutes waiting for someone to answer on the PA system, but no one said a word. Thankfully no one was behind us so we just backed out and decided to go inside. It's been years, but it seems different inside compared to the last time I've been in there. Everything was nice and clean and they even had those self-order kiosks. If I noticed it earlier and if there was a line, I would've probably tried to order through the kiosk just to see how it works. Got my food quickly like most other times. Might've been nice to stay and eat being that it's nice and cold inside and nicely updated. There's a lot of tables to choose from and ample parking surrounding the building. Maybe next time.

This is where AI technology is justified. Screen menu washed out out and can't read. Young woman doesn't know the breakfast menu and next to her doesn't either. Went to Kiosk and it asked for table # marker. Not available and the same 2 cashiers had no clue. Poor training or minimum wage and basement level efforts.

Spacious McDonald's with air conditioning and nice Hawaiian music. They forgot our water and the order was delayed a little but the overall vibe we got from this place was tremendous. My son chose the word tremendous so I guess he liked this McDonald's which was clean and felt new. Convenient location to get your kids a happy meal or cheeseburgers and a shake and ice cream. Dine in is allowed with proof of vaccination and id. 4.12 stars rounded up. Minus .88 stars for forgetting our water and being out of taro pies which we were hoping to try. Restrooms are restricted to customers only with proof of vaccination. A little inconvenient to just use a restroom but the COVID restrictions in Hawaii is real even in 12/2021. May God bless this McDonalds and Maui.

I must confess that I made a trip to the drive-thru due to the rumor of the Szechuan sauce being back in stock. If you're a Rick and Morty fan, you'll totally know what I'm talking about. And sadly this location did not have any in stock. Which is fine because we ordered a couple of taro pies instead. These taro pies were amazing! Warm, fried pie shell exterior meets a satisfying taro filling with chunks of taro mixed in. Thanks to those taro pies, I'll have to give this McDonald's a 4 star rating.

This McDonald's is located in the corner of a plaza, across from a 76 Gas Station, pretty easy to find off of Dairy Road. My husband and I ended up coming to this McDonald's location 2 times during our visit to Maui. One thing that we remember when we went to Oahu and The Big Island, over 12+ years ago, was that the McDonald's have these fried taro pies. And so this was one of the (many) things my husband was looking forward to eating when we arrived on this island. So one Wednesday morning, we ended up stopping here to order the following: Spam, Eggs, Rice Deluxe Morning Breakfast Platter, $6.99 prior to tax- My husband decided to get this breakfast platter for himself. Since I had already had breakfast at our vacation rental a little earlier, I opted not to get anything here for myself. Unique to Hawaii, patrons can also order 2 other deluxe morning breakfast platters that may come with a loco moco or sliced Portuguese sausage as the main attraction. My husband thought this breakfast entree was pretty filling and hearty (which was a good thing since we ate this before we started our Road To Hana trip) because it comes with 2 large scoops of white rice, 2 slices of spam, 3 slices of Portuguese sausage, eggs and hash browns (it really is a lot a food. My husband ended up eating this in 2 meals). Taro Pie, $1.29 prior to tax- My husband ended up ordering 4 of these (I ate 1/4 of one) because he is just that crazy for these pies. What I love about the taro pie is the actual pieces in the pie that you can see while you are eating (or in my husband's case, devouring). The purple filling and gooey sweetness is definitely a treat. It is also unique to Hawaii in which the pies here (including the apple) are fried instead of baked in other states in the US (not healthy for you though). It was nice that each pie was nice and hot (my husband didn't eat all of these pies in 1 sitting and actually thought they taste even better when cooled). Small Coffee, $1 prior to tax- Pretty standard and affordable. ---------------------------- (Total= $13.15 after tax) On our last night in Maui, we had some time to kill before heading to the airport, so we ended back at this location so that my husband could indulge in his last taste of that taro pie (I had none). And because it was a Tuesday, we also got 1 free iced coffee (teachers, with ID, can get a free cup of coffee that includes iced or hot on Tuesdays throughout the month of September). I am actually pretty surprised to see the overall rating for this particular location to only be 2.5 stars overall, out of 34 reviews (at the time of my review) because we had no trouble with our food or our orders on these 2 separate visits. The ladies' restroom was decent on both visits and the WiFi was easy to get onto while passing the time before heading out to the airport (which I do highly recommend that you consider buying food before coming to the airport since there aren't a whole lot of food choices. I highly suggest considering TJ's Warehouse Outlet, which isn't too far from this McDonald's, for their delicious bento boxes. They pack well and make for a delicious meal before take off). Also we had no trouble getting a free iced coffee. Overall, a pretty good experience both times. I am pretty sure if we lived here, my husband would be a regular at this location.
