We had the following smoothies: Aloha Sunset: 10/10 Island Mocha: 9/10 Da Green: 9/10 Hawaiian Tropic: 10/10 It was such a hot day that these drinks hit the spot! The service was great too and very prompt.

We can never get too much!

My mom and I own a vegan food truck, so we almost never eat out. With the exception of Ahonui of course! We always love their food and friendly service! My favorites are the Protein Focaccia Sandwich, Savory and Sweet toasts, and their homemade cookies are really good too! Make sure to stop by when you're in town, Vicky and Nacho are amazing!

I ordered the Power Dragon smoothie from the summer special menu with coconut milk mango and banana and it was honestly so good super fresh and creamy like a tropical vibe in a cup I loved it The people working there were really nice and friendly they made me feel welcome and I just liked the whole atmosphere Definitely a place I would come back to

A vegan food truck offering smoothies, juices, and a few food options. I tried the Hawaiian Tropical, which had a mix of fresh fruits with dragon fruit as the highlight. It was refreshing and not too sweet, perfect for a warm day!

Ahonui foods is located at the food cart pods across from the Maui Costco. I loved the cute decorations and vibe. The menu had many fresh options. I had the "da green" and loved it! Prices were on par for the area I live in while not on vacation. My smoothie cane out quickly despite the line.

Such a cute food truck food made with love and seed oil free! The warrior juice was refreshing and delicious in the midday heat. The savory toast was lemony with the freshest ingredients. It was overflowing with avocado and toppings! Delicious. Will absolutely return again.

Their alfajor and chipa waffle were superb! My vegan friend and I really enjoyed our time there, and the people running the truck were super friendly! I loved how we were able to get a mix of sweet and savory for our lunch, and I'm hoping to return to try the focaccia sandwich next time! - Miguel Morales Photography

Healthiest place at the food trucks over here! We tried the Golden Hour smoothie and added Lion's mane and it was delicious. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options. Can't wait to try the other food options as well!!

We were craving a smoothie after grabbing lunch from a food truck and tried this cute little spot out! We ordered a Hawaiian tropic smoothie and da green smoothie and they were delicious and so refreshing! Hit the spot and satisfied our craving. I'd love to try their food next time we stop by! The service was great. The girl behind the counter working was very sweet, friendly, and answered questions I had.

Awesome vegan truck in Kahului in the food truck lot across from Costco. There's two food truck lots so make sure you're in the right one. They are towards the back away from the start, on the right hand side. We ordered the savory waffle which was really yummy. They also had an alfajores which was also really good. The folks were friendly and we really appreciate another great place to eat vegan food.

The menu here is super small, only a few options. But the food is great. They start running out of things an hour before closing time, so get here early. I got the Holy Mother Savory toast, which is cashew cheese, avocado, sundried tomatoes, and sprouts. The menu said edible flowers would be on the toast, but there weren't any. I didn't mind too much though, because the cashew cheese tasted so amazing! The Argentinian alfajor was perfectly soft, sweet, and crumbly. It was definitely the best dessert I tried on Maui.

We really enjoyed trying this food truck after a long day of sight seeing. The girl who was working at the food truck was very friendly and answered all of our questions. Everything tasted fresh and healthy! Highly recommend!

It was a short 5 min hop over from the airport to Da Tambayan Corner and parking in the adjacent lot was easy. All the food trucks are ringed around the central tables and look for the aquamarine Da Soriano truck over by the road. Their food style is Filipino with a Hawaiian twist if you hadn't discerned it from their name. They have a build-your-own-combo grindz menu that you can pick a couple of proteins with rice options or check out the picture menu if you really don't know what to get. My wife went for the combo of Pork Adobo & Garlic Butter Shrimp with Mac & Green Salad, both very flavorful choices. Her friend went double pork action with Chinese Roast Pork Belly & Calamansi Grilled Pork Belly and Pancit Bihon Noodles as her side. The Chinese roast pork belly was as crispy good as any I've seen in any Chinatown. My Seafood Trio had a Miso Glazed Salmon Fillet, 3 Baked Mussels, 2 Shrimp Tempura and topped with Kaboyaki sauce & Thai Chili Aioli. The Shrimp were not the typical panko coated but battered and tasted good drizzled with the 2 sauces. The mussels are topped with a heavy cheesy mayo sauce and baked. Of course, it wouldn't be a Hawaiian plate lunch without a scoop of white rice and a scoop of mac salad. All this wasn't enough and our friend went back to chat with the chef and came back with a double serving of banana lumpia in crunchy spring roll wrap and drenched in heavy syrup. This was an excellent dessert and wrap up to a great lunch. We were so stuffed, we had to skip dinner!

Peeked their Instagram and saw a corned beef and egg grilled cheese sandwich. Say what? Less than 5 minutes later I was texting my order in. Unfortunately, no one actually ever answered my text (please don't tell people to text if you don't reply). Being impatient, I said screw it and just drove myself there to check. They are located in Kahului Industrial in the Ferguson's parking lot, across the way from Lee Bear's. It's a really, really random spot and parking could be a challenge if it gets busy. If it's slow, you could park right in front of the trailer. The family that runs this food trailer is born and raised in Guam and their menu features Chamorro cuisine like arrozcaldo, corn soup, etc. It didn't seem like it to me at first because everything was so so familiar to me, but my friend who was raised in Guam reminded me of how it's heavily Filipino influenced and mentioned that the grilled cheese sandwich was her childhood growing-up. No wonder (I'm Filipino)... Anywho, got my corned beef and egg grilled cheese sandwich! The corned beef isn't like your St. Patty's day corned beef, but more like the Palm brand canned corned beef. The bread was also slightly sweet and was the perfect vessel for all this deliciousness. The sandwich was so tasty and had the perfect amount of meat and cheese. Definitely a great way to start my morning and can't wait to have it again. My friend also recommended trying their corn soup & their red rice whenever it's available. Will definitely try those in the future too.

We have tried quite a few of the trucks and there were long lines and I was hungry so we drifted over to Kaipo's as they didn't have much of a line. Staff were ready for a laugh with us and we ordered the Shrimp Dynamite and the Rib Eye. They were quick to cook em up, just long enough for us to buy some pineapple lemonade from the stand next door (Wailemi). The food was MOUTH WATERINGLY GOOD. I cannot understand how they didn't have a long line!! People are missing out here! My Shrimp Dynamite was served in a small container, full of melty mushroomy goodness, with crunchy courgette, shrimp cooked to perfection and a creamy sauce on top. It wasn't as hot as I like, but I only deem something spicy when I can't feel the front of my face and steam is coming out of my ears so perhaps it is spicy enough for the general public. Nevertheless it was DROOLWORTHY, so good I had to share a single piece of courgette with my husband, but that was all he was getting! No more, Nada, nope. All mine! Hubbs didn't take long to demolish his with gusto, and he was 110% satisfied with dinner. Meat was cooked just right. We liked the scoop of macaroni salad, and the green salad with mustard dressing and scoop of rice that came with each dish. All were delicious and complimentary to each other. Very filling, very satisfying and totally DEEEELICIOUS. If you visit this roach coach park you have to try Kaipo's. It is one of the best there and you don't have to wait!
