Pulled pork fries plate, sauce is a bit spicy but tasty!
    Stephanie C.

Came for dinner with my husband and parents--Mom is vegan, Dad and I are vegetarian, and husband is omnivorous. We were all really happy with the food! My father and I both got the pulled pork fries, my husband got the Thai tacos, and my mother got the fish & chips. The pulled pork sauce was a little spicy (I am a spice wimp), but really good! The faux pork seems like it's soy curls, but it had good flavor and was nicely textured. The Thai taco peanut sauce is delicious, and appears to also use the soy curl base. The fish & chips looks and tastes a lot like the Gardein brand fish, so if you like those, you'll like these. The tartar sauce tasted like tartar sauce (which isn't my favorite, personally, but it's what you expect from fish & chips), and my Mom liked it. I also got a Hawaiian Sunset lemonade drink, which was pretty good, and my parents got hot water and tea bags, since they wanted a warm drink. Location is a cute little shop, and there's a little bit of outside seating, too. The lady at the cashier was really friendly and understanding, as we took a bit of time to figure out what we wanted. They did end up closing early (they stuck a notice on their door while we were eating that they were closing at 7... Like 5 minutes before 7pm, LOL), so we're glad we made it in time! Based on some of the reviews, it sounds like this isn't that uncommon, so I guess try to get there early? We aren't from Maui, so we probably won't be able to come back, but it looks like they have a Waikiki location, and we liked the food, so we may go there in the future when we're visiting my kama'aina parents next!

I was so happy to find an all vegan restaurant in Maui! Earth aloha has a variety of delicious wholesome vegan food. I tried the Buddha bowl with added falafel for extra protein which I enjoyed by the water. After a long day of exploring, this was exactly what I needed! The ingredients were fresh and flavorful. Staff was so friendly and there is plenty of indoor seating or a park near the ocean right across the street.

Can't resist stopping by this place every time I'm in Kihei! If you're a longtime vegan or vegetarian you've probably rarely felt overwhelmed by a menu. You have 1-3 options so it's a relatively easy choice. Every time I come in here I'm OVERWHELMED by how many options I have and how good they all sound. I've had the tacos, the pulled pork sandwich, and the chicken sandwich and every one was a win. Service is fast and friendly, the space is clean and modern, and the prices are worth it to support a business I believe in. Can't wait to return.

We ordered a fish tacos and pulled pork fries. Food is really good. Our go to food every time that we are in south side of Maui. Also, we got their coconut drink and the kola cola, which is absolutely amazing.

this place was really unique and a great choice after surfing! We got the chicken teriyaki bowls and they tasted just like chicken and had a lot of flavor. We did have to add some Cholula for some spice in the bowl though. The Server was definitely overworked as he was the only one serving everyone in the restaurant and was a little rude, but I think it was just because he was being overworked. They had some nice seating indoor and outdoor for guests.

The food was pretty good if you're looking for a healthy option, good amount of soy protein in the teriyaki bowl. There was only one person both manning the cashier and cooking food, which made some service things slip through the cracks. I do appreciate how quickly the food was prepared though.

    Cute wall art!

We got take out twice here during our vacation. Since everything is vegan its a great choice for vegan/vegetarians. Lots of choices between tacos, sandwiches, wraps, plates and bowls. The first visit I had the vegan Mexican street tacos. They were really good, though a bit spicy. The second time I had the Greek falafel plate, which I loved since it had so much variety. I liked the falafel, pita, brown rice and the sauce tasted great.Even the nonvegans in our group enjoyed the food from here. Order ahead on the website that way you can pick it up when it is ready. Restaurant is located in shopping center parking lot. The inside was cute with an animal mural. We will be back next time we visit Maui!

Ordered the fish taco and separately their aloha burger. Burger was probably the best single thing I had on the island. Very delicious! Portion size was solid too. Tacos also hit the spot and the slaw brought it all together really nicely. If you go towards end of the night they seem to have run out of things so make sure to go on the earlier side!

    Gyro made gluten free

Earth Aloha Eats is literally the best restaurant in Maui! All good quality and clean ingredients and everything is so yummy! Josh is the nicest ever and took my allergies very seriously, making the gyro on a gluten free wrap. They are happy to modify your order and are super kind. I ate here three times on my 1 week trip to Maui and got the gyro all three times. I don't want to go back to the mainland because there's no Earth Aloha Eats! Super good kombucha on tap as well. Fast service and nice little tables inside as well as outdoor seating. Seriously cannot recommend Earth Aloha Eats enough! Definitely stop here if you're in Kihei!

I really like that I can select from the old world German Artisan collection and the Hawaiian Artisan baked goods. I snagged the Isabelle, a loaf of bread made of spelt (dinkel wheat, high in protein, fiber, and antioxidants) and rolled in an assortment of seeds. The texture is soft and the crust is slightly chewy. Just right and the taste is very satisfying. I can't bring myself to putting a slice into the toaster, though, because I don't want to risk losing any of the seeds. I'll be fine with the broiler and some butter. I also went for the Hawaiian Bread. Just thinking about it makes my mouth water. It has pineapple, toasted coconut and tiny soft raisins. The bread is moist from the pineapple juice and the loaves are small. I could finish one off in a setting but I resisted the urge. I also bought extras for sharing and had to pass them out quickly before temptation called. I'll return soon.

I did enjoy overall. The cinnamon roll was not hot from the oven, so I avoided disappointment. Next time I got the almond croissant. Pretty tasty. Basically they cut the croissant in half, filled in the cream and put the top back. Odd. Better between the two. Might be too sweet for some. Prices are higher than other places. I don't think you'll find anything subpar. Seems like good offerings.

It was an early April afternoon, and they still had a small selection of malasadas available. I snagged one chocolate filled, one vanilla filled, and two sugar dusted malasadas, $1.50 each, plus two streusel banana breads, $8.25 each and four regular banana breads, $8 each. The malasadas were for us; however, I thought the banana breads would make great souvenirs to bring back home. Back at the resort, we froze most of them, and on the morning of our departure, I carefully packed them in my luggage and carry-on bag as precious cargo going home! Customer service was excellent and friendly, as always! Get thee to Sugar Beach Bakery, next door to Ululani's!

It helps to order ahead but you will need to order the day before - they don't do same day orders. Also some things you can't order online like their musubis, etc. However you can still get their malasadas and croissants, etc. We tried all their malasadas and our favs were the coconut cream and the lilikoi (passion fruit). We also tried their mango bread which was moist and fruity (no chunks of mango in it though) and the lime pie which was lovely! However, I think the big surprise for me was that the malasadas are smaller than I expected. The first time I had a malasada was at Leonard's in Oahu which are like...the size of your hand. These are more like golf ball sized. They were still excellent but I think that just caught me off guard. But we still enjoyed them!
