Decided to try out this vegan spot & this place did NOT disappoint! We tried the pulled pork fries & the fish tacos. These were such amazing meals, it's a surprise that this place is vegan. The pulled pork fries tasted amazing, not sure what they use for the "pork," but it had me mind blown when it tasted like meat. Well, if you have been following me for a while you all know how much I love pancakes. There are very few establishments that sell VEGAN pancakes but the wife found this gem in Kihei. Earth Aloha Eats is famous for its French toast, but I had to have the Pono pancakes, and people they were AWESOME. The pancakes are so airy, fluffy, and HUGE. The pancakes were covered with coconut cream and bananas. I had a side of housemade sausage and for me, that is a really big deal because I am very particular about my VEGAN meats. The staff was extremely friendly, we got our food very fast and the price was unbelievable for the amount of food we received. I can say without a doubt that the pancakes are the best I have had off the mainland. Earth Aloha Eats will be a semi-annual visit for us as long as we own timeshare property on Maui. Delicious Sunday breakfast at Earth Aloha Eats, Pono Pancakes are sublime, two thick yet airy fluffy pancake pillows with maple syrup vegan butter, vegan whipped cream and sliced banana are perfection. Food was decent but service was very off-putting. The guy taking our order was very nice at first but then after I selected no tip (it's counter service...) he loudly exclaimed "Damn!" and it kind of ruined our meal. He wasn't aggressive or cold after that but he intentionally treated us very clearly less enthusiastically than his other customers. If tips are required in order to have a positive experience here there should be a sign. I've never experienced this kind of behavior anywhere else. Amazing food by some great people. My wife and I have eaten at the main storefront and at their food truck. Both were phenomenal. I think we ordered 6 main dishes for the two times we've been there. We wanted to try as much as possible... I think they use Butlers Soy Curls or something similar as their faux meat, but unless you've used them yourself, you wouldn't know the difference. Each dish was seasoned well and had a great balance of salt, heat and fat. Sooo good. I ordered the Thai Chicken Tacos and jokingly mentioned that they couldn't make it spicy enough. The cook in the back piped up and yelled "Challenge accepted!". After I finished placing my order I turned around and saw that they had a house made hot sauce: carrot, onion, ghost pepper. I ALMOST chickened out on keeping the dish hot, but I'm glad I didn't. It was indeed one of the hotter dishes I've had out at a restaurant. So good. So spicy. The chef came out and we traded notes on spicy this and spicy that. I highly recommend this place due to the very pleasant folks there and the amazing tasting food that they'll happily make how you want. Their vegan crème brûlée was superb as well. read more

I ordered the aloha burger but the patty itself was tasteless and the ciabatta was falling apart as I was holding it. We were looking for some alternative foods to try while on vacation. We eat vegan and vegetarian at home along with traditional meat meals. But we are on the lookout for different foods. Each dish was plated extremely well and every one had it's unique character! So we'll done! The proteins were all generally good and had a pleasant texture. The street tacos were considered the best of the three meals. The gyros were delicious but lacked enough sauce to make the meal tastier. The teriyaki fries were delicious but there was not enough teriyaki flavor. Each protein was firm and had a tooth which was pleasant. But lacked enough flavor. We all 3 agreed it was a delicious meal, filling and tasty. But needed more of the flavor the meal, menu name implied. By all means check this place out. Everything tasted super fresh and the employee was so flexible with cooking spices into the dishes. The Vegan "meat" was flavorful and was a much more enjoyable experience than impossible meat.
