McCrispy Strips I decided to try the new McCrispy Strips. They're horrible. I bought a burger just in case I hated them, which I did. They've managed to somehow mess up chicken. The texture is weird. They're not dry, just weird. And they taste bad. I ate one and threw the other two away. I had fear that they might cause the kind of explosive diarrhea America hasn't seen since the decision was made to make Lay's potato chips with Olean aka Olestra. i ordered around 6:50pm today. im aware we are talking about "Mcdonalds" who always has a bad rep anyway for poor customer service but lets not play with people and their orders shall we? the cashier had me repeat myself 4 times just to say a "double filet o fish meal"....wasnt upset about that but i knew that was a red flag and confirmation that my order was going to be messed up. as soon as i pulled to the window, i get my order and its a single filet o fish sandwich. I told the guy at the window "i told him a double filet o fish". he proceeds to say "oh. let me see what we can do." what do you mean? GIVE ME WHAT I ORDERED lol what? then the cashier comes to the window and states "they TOLD me to give you a single so thats what happened" im so confused...did i tell you my order? or did they order thru the drive-thru with you? i told him "sir i told you 4 times that i wanted a double" he says "yeah i mean you can buy another one and i can fix it"....losing my patience at this point. i stated "thats not a problem! i can pay for it! i want a double please" so at this point, im doing the math: these are a group of teenagers in here, im the only one in the drive-thru, and he was TOLD to give me one filet...if you guys didnt feel like cooking? Clock out. i even heard the cashier on a phone call when he took my order and thats why he wasnt paying attention! Im a former GM with the fast food industry...im the wrong one to play with when it comes to food and customer service. there is no sauce on the sandwich. Looks like they threw it in the microwave or something and gave it to me. None of the food was fresh. they threw a cold piece of cheese on top. who knows what else they did. This is actually the first time I had visited this McDonald's. Why did I go today? Because only TWO McDonald's in Texas is trialing the McPlant burger, and this is one of the two!! I'm so thankful that McDonald's is finally jumping on the vegetarian wagon! The restaurant was clean and ordering was efficient. Instead of ordering at the counter, they offer monitors (along with hand sanitizer) to self order and pay. When the order was ready, the manager called out the receipt number. He was friendly and thanked me. The McPlant sandwich was delicious! It was topped with lettuce, tomato, pickles, ketchup and Mayo. It reminded me a lot of what I remember the Quarter Pounder tasted. I am really hoping that McDonald's will keep this on their menu. I would love to order this with the Big Mac sauce- YUMM!! read more

I've been pleasantly surprised by the McDonald's in the Greater Dallas area. I come from the San Antonio Texas area and there are a lot of extremely disappointing ones there. That's not to say that the McDonald's here don't have their faults but for the most part they are cleaner, better staffed, Serve up a better experience altogether And this location is no different. I can honestly say that I haven't really had a bad experience in any of the McDonald's in the Greater Dallas Texas area as of yet 3/24/2020. Every time I go to McDonald's, I always get sent to the "reserved spots" after waiting forever through the drive thru line. I've worked in fast food and I understand they are trying to get as many cars thru the line as fast as they can just so they can maximum profits but what about the customers? 99% of the time they give me the wrong order entirely and it have to either go thru the drive thru line AGAIN or wait inside for someone to help me. It also feels very inhumane to have people walking these orders out in the Texas heat with no shade in the parking lot where people are driving erratically. This complaint is not about the people who work here more on the company itself. read more

We came here on a whim because it's so close to the airport and I was amazed!! The customer service is wonderful, they were so nice and helpful. My sister and I ordered a small fry but they gave us a large! The food was hot and tasty and crispy, not greasy or soggy An all around great experience and we loved the atmosphere. I've been coming to this Mc Donald's here and there for 7 years. I've always had a great experience and one blooper through the drive thru. Until today, I had oatmeal with my order, and as the drive-thru staff member Marilyn provided me with a big bag with my food I asked if the oatmeal was in the bag, she just nodded yes (I'm asking this because they always place the oatmeal in a small separate bag. I ask her again if she is sure it is in there and she nods yes and says yes again (probably didn't understand English). I pull straight ahead to their pick up spot and look in the bag (what do you know) the oatmeal wasn't in there. I walk in and speak with the manager (whom I've always liked as she is professional), she turns and tells the staff in Spanish that they didn't give me the oatmeal. This extreme heavy set woman says yes I did (in Spanish) overly aggressive and throwing her had in the air. She continues to say stuff in Spanish and is blatantly saying I'm lying as she knows for a fact she made it and gave it to me. (You were not at the drive through Maria)!!!! Fortunately, I am fluent in Spanish and English, now she has escalated a minor issue, so I raise my voice after she gives me a mean look. I asked her if she wants to go to my car and look for the oatmeal and see if it's in there. Who in the H.E. Double hockey sticks is going to want to come up on a second oatmeal? I got her full name (Hispanic, probably about 250 -300 pounds) MARIA BELTRAN, if you spit in my oatmeal, I threw it away as I walked out of my car, I don't trust you!!! But I did pay for the oatmeal 2.79 plus tax to be exact... and yes I got it only to throw it away because I can do as I please with what I pay for. It's the principle and please take courses on professionalism and confrontation. You're opinions or assumptions are not required as a cook or server especially when you were the one LYING and don't assume someone doesn't speak Spanish because I clearly do and I hope Corporate provides you with additional training in service and communication as I did report this incident. read more

Where do you go when hunger has you ready to gnaw off your arm or the person sitting next to you and you only have 20 minutes? This McDonald's in Irving! They are quick with the order taking, quick with the payment window (meaning have your cash or card ready before pulling to the first window) and they do a great job of bagging and handing you McDonald's quality food. On this trip, I was driving someone from DFW airport that was getting that dangerously hungry look in her eyes. She was famished and I could always chomp down a Big Mac. We got our order quickly, parked in the lot, ate it and were on our way in less than 10 minutes. The food was of good McDonald's quality and tasted great! read more

I go to this McDonalds because I drive by here everyday for work. The drive through is always moving quickly. An average morning Mickey's run will involve probably about 7 cars ahead of me in the drive through. There are 2 lanes though so the cars move pretty quickly. My standard order is a McMuffin and a small black coffee. The food is the same and on point every time. The only issue if there was one would be the price. I was with my family at this location's drive thru on Saturday 06/08/2019 @10:50PM. It was displayed that if the staff do not mention about their New world wide menu, customer will be offered some snack size item. When we asked the Asian lady at the window, she was very very arrogant, rude and told us that I cannot do it with every customer at this time and you can go talk to whom ever you want or complain to the corporate if you want to. This is terrible behavior and a very bad customer experience and the lady claims she is the manager of that shift! I pity the owner of that store. She should learn some manners and I hope the store manger watch the video and audio if they truly record to enhance customer experience. I hope MacDonalds will teach their staff some good manners and how to answer politely to it's customers. I try not to eat fast food during lunch, but it's been hard to get out of back to back meetings at my new client site. So I go to this contemporary designed location. The over all look and feel is a natural theme that has two of the game machine that you typically pay for at the bars. Since I live in the area, I come here pretty often just to play the game or in search of the Hello Kitty watches that they had for the happy meals. But the staff is happy, and friendly unlike other places I have been for fast food. I can also hear the manager giving the employees good praises when they are working at speedy service during lunch hour. The drive thru has two lanes as well. read more

The young lady could not get the swirl correct so the manager dumped the ice cream off the cone back in the top of the machine and had her try again, twice! Ok, so this is a great McDonald's near work where I hit every so often. Why not? I try not to make a habit out of it, but, hey, sometimes it hits the spot. What I like about this location is that they have two drive-thru ordering boxes which helps make the line go faster during lunch. I also like the two windows - one to pay and one to pick up. Again, it helps keeps things moving. The employees have all been friendly and efficient and the wait is never too long. Orders are filled accurately and everything is cooked to order - or at least hot enough to make it seem that way. What I don't like is that the parking lot is too small and the place is a fender bender waiting to happen during lunch. So be careful! read more

The lady hands me a HALF FULL SUNDAE!!!!! WTF???
