Sometimes you just need Mcy D's, and it's as simple as that. This location so happens to be pretty close to my house, so it's easy to stop by. I really only ever use the drive thru, and it has always been timely. The folks usually working the window are nice, and have yet to mess up an order. The food is not shrouded in roses or eternal glory, but it is exactly what it is, and I'm okay with that. read more

Spent nearly $70 dollars. Got home and was missing my sandwich. Called and complained and was told I would be put on a list and I had to come back to get it. Went in to collect and was told I wasn't on any list. Asked to speak to the manager and another employee said they were the manager but they weren't. I found this out when I got home and tried to call and complain and get the managers name so I can complain to corporate. Wrote a official complaint and was told I would be sent free food coupons in the mail. Those also never came. This place is a joke and has the worst customer service. I can't even get the sandwich I paid for which is THEFT and just get the run around. Don't shop here! read more

The manager (I think) is the best guy around. We got the wrong order and he fixed it beautifully. Amazing restaurant. Would recommend. I love this place. Thank you manager. read more

I don't think much will come about this, considering the manager is the same in the same. Spent a consider amount of money here and just wanted to have a nice evening out. As we sat there six children came in f this f that f me etc. went to manager thinking it would be addressed and after half hour nothing done ( maybe ages 10 to 13) after the last F we left. So sad McDonalds allows this. read more

Updating my review. I don't eat fast food anymore because they has definitely done something to their food. I don't know what it is, but every time myself, my wife, my mom or anything like that goes there, wind up getting upset, stomach sick. McDonald's - Under filled fries - Burgers Near Me - Grand Junction, Colorado

Listen, a plain hamburger and hot n spicy hit when you're drunk. But the way they overload on mayo and usually forget to subtract the cheese is disappointing. Forget the ice cream. All the Mcflurries are just melted vanilla ice cream. We ordered the peanut butter one recently and it had absolutely nothing in it. I'll never say no to McDicks 2 Four lokos in, but that really says nothing about my standards. read more

I overall try to avoid most restaurants on North Avenue but this McDonald's is pretty high up on that list as to why. The employees are pretty rude when ordering, I was in the drive-through side that was open and three people came through on the other drive-through side and were helped before me. I even spoke into the microphone asking if anyone was there, and I was still ignored. Then when I ordered the woman helping me was very short and snappy with me despite the drive-through being practically empty. I would much rather go out of my way to go to the mall location then come to this one, despite its convenience. During this trip I ordered one item, very easy. I waited in line for almost 20 minutes and when I got to the second window the girl didn't even look at me when handing me my item. Overall this is a very disrespectful location and employees make you feel extremely on unwelcomed. As somebody who used to work in the food service industry, I do not care if you're having a bad day, you need to treat customers visiting your restaurant respectfully, especially if that customer has done absolutely nothing to you. read more

This place is not friendly, do not care if they miss something in your order, and along with that, do not care for delivery driver safety. Homeless and rude people yelling and cussing at delivery drivers. read more

I still eat here quite often because I'm not about to drive 20 min to a different McDonald's. I will say there food is usually okay. However I used to order breakfast here almost every day because it was simple and easy to do for me and my fiancé. I refuse to ever go inside again. Every time I did it was a horrible experience. I would wait forever, the staff was rude, often said my order didn't exist on they're end (despite my bank statements and McDonald's app saying otherwise). They would then tell me they found my order but that I had to use the drive through if I was using the app. Sent me around in circles countless times. I used the app because I thought it would be faster and more convenient to place the order ahead of time and run inside to pick it up rather than waiting in a line! I was wrong! I was also never offered management help when I asked for it. read more

Slowest mcdonalds ever. Some staff are nice while others are blatantly rude. Definitely the worst mcdonalds I have been to.

Okay, so it is a McDonald's. Its far from perfect. But my experience with this restaurant is generally good. They have some off days, but not too many. The staff has many long term employees and they are a friendly bunch. By using the app deals and bringing my own beverage and skipping potato products I have been consistently able to buy a breakfast or a lunch of two sandwiches for under $4. I have not found a better bargain in this town. If you want a perfect burger go to a gourmet burger restaurant. You will pay 3 times as much. Tip: If the app seems to struggle due to no internet near the location, shut your phones wifi off. The wifi at the restaurant requires a login. The last breakfast I had there was amazing. I ordered an SME and a McGriddle and both were perfect! The SME looked like the one on the menu board and the only fault I had with it is the egg was a little overdone for my taste, however that is how these kids are instructed to cook it so it did meet the McD standard. The good news is that the egg was clean and non-lacy. Both sandwiches were received in a reasonable amount of time and both were piping hot. There are a couple of problems you will find at this location, but neither are this restaurants fault. #1. It is way too busy. It's right by the college and does an incredible business. They do a good job but there is just some times of the day there will be a bit of a wait, maybe 5-10 minutes. If its lunch rush it could be more. #2. The homeless are a constant. Expect to see some on the sidewalks and perhaps a few in the store itself. It is not this locations fault. If you eat inside you may be panhandled. They are not overly aggressive about it, but it may happen. That reflects more on this fine city and its leadership than the restaurant itself. read more

This is the slowest McDonald's in the entire valley. It's closest to my home so I usually go to this one. But no more! The drive-through is painfully slow and I don't know why? You will not get out of the drive-through without 20 or 30 minutes waiting. I could cook my own at home faster. And then they don't even get your order right! I don't know if none of the employees are able to multitask or what? But I'm done going here!!! Subway or is faster and healthier. read more

I've been to this McDonald's several times and I've never left happy or even the least bit satisfied. Side note... I need to quit caving into my kids' McDonald's hunger cravings when I'm in this area of Grand Junction. They have a manager named Danielle. that should not be in a managerial position or even working in any kind of a customer service position. She's absolutely terrible at her job. Also, their drive-through design is beyond horrendous and even dangerous. Without a doubt, there are many obvious reasons why this McDonald's has such low ratings. Do yourself a favor, McDonald's are located everywhere, find another one. read more

I've never been one to leave a bad review, but this place is awful. These employees as well as their managers have absolutely no customer service skills. We weren't greeted, and they kept looking back at us. I have plenty of experience in fast food. Even slammed, I still had the courtesy to acknowledge the customer and say "we will be right with you". It's basic customer service. These employees are spending their time chatting with each other instead of doing their jobs. And I'm serious. They took 5 minutes to fill 1 bag because their personal drama is apparently more important. We waited over 20 minutes to place our order, and it's been over 10 minutes of waiting, and we're still currently waiting. They were mopping, but they were mopping salt and fries. Please learn how to use a broom. The female employees' hair is extremely sloppy, it should be tied back correctly. LMAO now almost every single employee has left the building to watch a tweaker. Get your crap together. read more

We sat in the drive through for around 27 minutes. Typically when we pull up to any McDonalds, they ask for your code, so you can get discounted food. The person here acted like they have never heard of this. They couldn't enter the code, pretended like they were "manually" over riding the system to give us the meal....because that is what the gal said she was doing.... When they gave us our food, half the order was missing, and the half we did get was wrong. Not a big deal. Thank goodness for food and freedom. They told us to pull forward and wait, which was sort of comical because this was the SAME place I had to drive off from without my food because of the wait, the last time I had tried to eat here......I guess I was hoping they had changed. They have not. The boss guy with the tie comes out, asks for my receipt....I told him "dude, no way. I've been waiting for 27 minutes for my food"..... points out we "didn't order the other food". We assured him that in the 27 minute wait, we certainly did, and it just looks like the person taking our order didn't type it in. The person doing the "magic" on the order machine just hit the "totally done with with this b^&tch customer button" and moved on. Again, not a big deal. Life happens. He does acknowledge that our drink is missing, goes and gets that, and returns with the now printed out receipt to show us we did not pay for this magical deal-code food. We told him we just wanted to leave and how this was not the 1st time we had to wait longer at McDonalds than we do out most sit down restaurants. He had started walking back to his lair of laxidazical unawesomeness while we were still speaking. Hats off to customer service. It will snow in hell before I eat at the 12th st. GJ McDonalds again. read more

My son and his BF were doing doordash and when they went inside to grab an order some local teens decided this was the moment to harass the " trans kids " saying terrible things and taking photos of them. I was told to never return to the McDonalds on North Ave because I threw the money for the iced coffee at the cashier. I only use the drive thru. If I could give this McDonald's zero stars that'd be great!!!!! McDonalds is the wealthiest fast food chain restaurant in the world, and y'all are charging people 25 cents for a tiny ass sauce. Absolutely terrible service. They hosed up our drive-thru order so I went in to make it right and the little 18-year-old girl started yelling at me telling me that I messed up my own order. I now remember why I don't go to the McDonald's on North. The driver thur order taker was arguing with the customer in front of us. There was a misunderstanding about what kind of chicken sandwich he wanted. The employee said, "I can choose for you!" And then yelled "well I can't hear you!" Customer ended up driving off. I probably should've followed. When we got home there were 7 nuggets in my cold 10 piece meal. The fries were horrible! They tasted stale or like they had be doulbe dip to reheat but weren't hot. Mc Donald's fries are a family favorite and most of them went in the trash. They were so bad my dog wouldn't eat them. My daughter's Big Mac was so over seasoned, she said she kept biting into salty pockets. I spent nearly $40 on food that was there or got thrown away. Super disappointing!
