I arrived an hour before closing and a latino gentlemen completely ignores me while he cleans the burrito grill, then covers it with aluminum foil top and bottom to then switch his gloves and finally go to work on ... a pick up order. He was the only person on the isle. He looked up at me multiple times to say absolutely nothing. A young lady comes along to finally say "we'll be right with you" as they both proceed to work on the same pick up order. I continue to wait patiently as others arrive to also just questionably wonder... what's happening? You have people in front of you patiently waiting not a short period that's understandable but like 10 minutes. Not a "thank you for your patience" I tell the so called "manager" how rude it was to not even acknowledge the person and she blows it off barely even looking at me and gives an excuse it's been a crazy day. Well, don't take it out on me. I was even literally standing there as she came out for a moment to inquire with her staff about guacamole to then go back to her office. I empathized with their misfortune and just asked her to have a talk with him. It's fast food. I get it but to blatantly pretend I'm not there and continue on with other stuff is just horrible service (it was nearly 10 minutes as he just went on with a very, I don't give an "F" attitude right in front of you... he didn't go to the back and return later just head down complete disregard that you're there. The manager didn't offer a discount either just an insincere apology. I'm not going to this location ever again. They don't value their opportunity to HAVE a job. You are at their mercy if you want food ... with no courtesy or training on how to be even slightly hospitable. I have read many other negative comments regarding this store. This place is totally inconsistent. Run by mostly young people, the mood is completely different at the counter visit to visit. Its like the staff collectively has teenage mood swings... It hasn't been terrible but often not great. Generally the counter "mood swing" is the oddest part but altogether not off the list of viable put to eat places. Just came from the Grand Junction location and lordy lord let me tell you I am fully traumatized..... We show up no guac, queso, or chicken. I fully saw quac there. Putting that sad fact aside; 2 hours later my entire group is FIGHTING for our lives. We are currently driving and this was the most unpleasant sneak attack I have ever had from a meal. Couldn't make it to a gas station...bowels completely emptied from both ends. So unpleasant we aren't okay. We are in pain. It's giving the great debacle of E.coli in 2015. Unintentional enema. No forks. No chips. No sour cream. No cilantro. Ever tried eating a salad with a spoon? There's a Sams next door. Did it occur to anyone to run over there and buy forks? At the very least let the customer know they'll have to eat lettuce with there fingers BEFORE they pay for it. I eat chipolte more than four times a week, from Florida to California. I've never had any problems. Except today, the restaurant opens at 10:45, but won't let people eat there till we'll past lunch time. I was asked leave their outside fence to eat, there were no seats, just a table i was able to set my motorcycle helmet on. My choices were parking lot, or eat right outside the door. I recommend trying a different location that respects people, or qdoba! Their burritos are pretty good! This interaction ruined this location! They got back to me and offered me a coupon. But eating there was the problem. My reply: Just fix the problem, I don't want a coupon. If you open at 10:45 make it available to eat there. Space the seats, do all the covid precautions. They offer chicken, shredded beef, shredded pork, steak, and sofritas (shredded tofu). You have the option of rices, veggies, salsas, beans, etc. I like their rice bowls & add lettuce for some crunch. Their burritos are large and filling. What I like about this place is the healthier options offered compared to fast food burger or taco joints. The meat is grilled fresh & the toppings fresh, too. Try the guacamole! It's fabulous. Their kid meals are great. They also offer Patron margaritas! The prices are also reasonable. No dessert here. When they're busy the employees work hard to get your made to order meals. Chipotle always gives you the same quality ingredients and it always taste the same. The customer service of each Chipotle is where I take note. This Chipotle in particular has a few members on its staff that aren't super friendly. The first girl making our burrito asked multiple times what we were getting on it. I'd say "I'd like a barbacoa burrito with white rice, please" she'd say "What kind of rice? ..what kind of meat" same exact order on round 2 same exact response.
