I waited for an intolerable amount of time in the drive through for just a cup of coffee, then waited to get to the window, and at the window....there was no one there. McDonald's is my go-to place for breakfast on the go. Unfortunately, the variation between restaurants is becoming unbearable. I normally get a Sausage Barreto and Hash Brown, but the Barreto as sometimes really great, but too often over 90% wrap with next to no filling. Had one yesterday that contained no sausage. Also, unfortunately, very few locations offer Mild Sauce. Sad to see McDonald's slowly degrade over the years. read more

This is the worst and most poorly run McDonalds I have ever been to. I will never return to this location. It's s comedy of errors. I ordered a classic grilled chicken sandwich meal with a large diet coke. I got a chicken sandwich with the deep fried McChicken patty ( off of the $1.00 menu ) Fries were not real warm, and I was given a regular coke even though I asked for diet and clarified at the window it was. Drive away headed back to work. Called McDonalds and complained. I was told that they would provide a replacement meal. Went back two weeks later and they would not honor replacement meal... After multiple issues hear I am done will not ever go back to this location... It's not brain surgery... I went through drive thru and ordered two hamburgers and a bottled water. They took my money at first window, then I waited 10 min at second window. No service, so I pulled around and went in. There were four women behind the counter, asked for my food they all looked at me then looked away. They would not acknowledge me at all. I left with this location stealing my money. Hoping that someone who sees this might be a manager in retail or fast food, particularly at McDonalds, but not necessarily, and can answer this question. If the menu is showing $6.79, for a Big Mac Meal, and the register rings it up as $7.09, shouldn't the price on the menu be the one they have to charge? The little 16 year old brat in the drive up window was trying to say that the $7.59 price was with tax. I explained to him that it rang up as $7.09 before tax, but the menu (picture attached), clearly shows the Big Mac Meal at $6.79, and that is the price that should be charged. He told me "If you don't like it, then you can get your cracker ass out of my drive-through". He was black, and I'm obviously white. I told him, calmly, but fighting to stay that way, that I wanted to see his manager. He shot back that he was the manager, and that if I didn't like it, I could fuck off. Maybe I'm a little old fashioned, but SERIOUSLY??? When I have to come back here on the week of the 27th, I am not staying in Milwaukee. We're working up in Jackson, WI, and I'm sick of this 30 minute drive, and quite frankly, not even being able to go to McDonalds without hearing gunshots at one store and being called a cracker ass (which I would have probably laughed at in any other situation), or going to Walmart down here and both times being hit up by prostitutes. It's a nice hotel, and the immediate area around it is nice, but go any direction more than a couple of blocks, and it turns into a shit hole real quick. Gonna wait until tomorrow morning and give, what I would presume would be the real manager a call, and see if they find this to be acceptable behavior out of their employees. I'd love to see that little shit lose his job over that. Or, maybe that's just the way they treat folks now. I am a grown 51 year old man, and I am not going to be talked to like that by a teenage boy. That boy working that Drive Through yesterday evening needs to have his wings clipped a bit. This place doesn't even deserve any stars. I just drove through the drive-thru without any response for a few minutes. I finally decided the speaker must have been so I drove to the window. A 17 or 18 year old boy was working the drive thru window and just looked at me but didn't open the window....just started at me. So I gently honked my horn to let him know I was there and needed to place an order. Meanwhile, I have snow pouring in my window waiting for this kid to answer. He is talking to the person I assume is the manager and another McD worker. I give him a minute but then honk again. He holds one finger to me to silence me while he finished his convo with two coworkers. He finally walks over to window and I asked if drive thru speaker broken. He said "no...I just forgot to turn my headset on". No apologies or can I take your order. So I say just a Diet Coke without ice. So easy. It then takes 8 minutes to get my drink and I even doubled checked about it being diet vs. regular coke. He mumbled a yes. I go to pull out and decided to take a sip just to be sure. No diet here...just regular coke with ice. I am the only person at the McD drive through (and in the restaurant I think) so I drive back thru to the window. He looks at me again but doesn't open the window..AGAIN! So now I honk louder and longer. Both the manager and this kid look at me again and do nothing. He finally opens the window and says "can I take your order?". Um, no you can't because you just took my order seconds ago. I try and remain calm and say 'hi...me again. sorry but this is reg coke and I had wanted a Diet Coke with no ice. He tries to charge me again. I explain I already paid and they gave me the wrong thing so I just want my (FREAKING!) Diet Coke. He leans out the window and says "huh?" By now my head is ready to explode. His manager is even standing there and says nothing! I try to give him back the cokes and he said 'you're going to have to throw those out'. Nope. YOU have to throw them out ... they are your mistake. He gives me my new drink and I ask again if it is Diet before I pull away. As he hands it to me, I realize it's full of ice but just don't care at this point. I decide to do a sip check before I leave. Guess what?!?! It's regular coke again. I honestly will never go back here. They are completely brain dead. I used to work for McDonald's Corp in Oak Brook. I am calling my contacts there tomorrow just to let them know how bad this location is. I don't know of one person who goes here anymore because they always get the orders wrong, take forever to serve the food, there's fighting going on inside the restaurant. It really is ashamed because they just rebuilt this place not that long ago. I would rather go to the McD 15 minutes away from here than go back to this crap shack. McDonald's still has Covid regulations in place, and posts signs all along the drive thru claiming staff will wear masks, gloves, and 'wash hands frequently.' Again, tonight, two staff took my payment at the first window, neither wearing a mask covering their face. At the second window, staff with no mask gave me my drink! I had to wait for my hot food in the parking lot. A staffer with no mask came to my car! He shouted, "What did get?" I had a large order..."Big Macs." He snaps, "Is that all you have? Let me see your receipt?" I gave it to him. He spent several minutes yelling at someone in the parking lot, then came back to my car with a bag. "She didn't open this. But she took your fries. So I need to get you large fries." Fun...apparently, that means my food had been given to another customer, then rescued, in part. I waited and waited for the fries, which never came. Obviously, the big issue is cleanliness. I've been ripped off before. But the fact that no one is taking Covid policy seriously at this restaurant. And they didn't remake my order after giving it to the wrong person. I don't eat here! I pick up dinner here for my parents, which still have nostalgia for McDonald's. They are not good at serving food, being clean, or providing customer service anymore. And they have not been complying with their own Covid regulations, at all. read more

I can't remember if I've ever written a review on Yelp, but I've never been happier to have an account. This morning at approximately 10:25am I started a drive through order which included breakfast items. Breakfast ends at 10:30am. I'm aware I was close. In the middle of the order, prior to 10:30am the young man working cut me off and proceeded to say we're no longer taking breakfast orders. I replied that the screen still had only breakfast items up. Things got unpleasant on both sides. You're in the middle of the order. Finish it and move on with the next car. I went inside to complain (embarrassing, I know) and I watched them complete what must of been a DoorDash breakfast order for another 5 minutes, lol. The manager tried to smooth things over which was nice, but I tried to explain I would never order food from someone I just got in an argument with. What was disturbing is he seemed to understand my concern. In short, the manager invited me to free breakfast tomorrow, but I don't plan on ever going here again. I have two local McDonalds and I will drive the extra 1/2 mile from now on. If you read the other reviews, this McDonald's has a horrible reputation. 75% of the time they mess something up. It's sad...just because it's fast food doesn't mean quality and customer service should suffer. read more

Below par experience at this location. Old man at cash register didn't know how to do his job. We asked for meals and never got hash browns, as well as no second orange juice. Breakfast burritos were cold and he also "accidentally" rounded up for the McDonald's foundation when we asked not to. Definitely no going there again. read more

Service is absolutely terrible here. They're slow, even at non peak times. The employees are not friendly, barely speak except for a few. The lobby is usually messy and I've been here when employees are arguing and yelling at one another. The managers are the only qualified employees here, often covering for what appears as store wide staff incompetence. Very strange vibe here for a Mcd's. It seems to me that as a paying guest, I am the outsider. Many of the associates are grumpy and preoccupied. Cold shoulder service would be an accurate description. The kitchen production crew often makes mistakes and I often receive items gratis as a result. I know that working at Mickey D's may not be the most rewarding restaurant career choice but sheesh...this restaurant needs a team building makeover. read more

Was told to pull up to the "next window" and I did, except a woman was on her cell phone and didn't acknowledge me, so I pulled up to the "next window." I handed the girl my payment there, and she stared at me like it was my fault for choosing this restaurant and giving it my business. She took my card like it was infected with something, and walked away without saying a word to me. My food came back half burnt, dried out, and made with the kind of care I'd expect from a place that treats people like this. All the lights inside and the drive thru are on: employee greets us at the window to state the hours are wrong and their supervisor can address. I work across the street so it's convenient that I can go there to get a late dinner when I'm done with a shift. However, it doesn't mean I like it. I went there the other night after a shift at 5, there was no one besides and old man in there. He was in front of me, so I waited for him to be done placing his order. Then when he was done the employee walked away. I didn't mind this at first, I'm a cashier as well and sometimes you have to do other things, but he just stood in the back talking to some girl while I waited a good 10 mins. Finally, a girl saw me and asked if I had ordered. I said no and she made sure someone took care of me. Usually I don't mind going here, it just takes a while but it's cheap and easy. But sometimes the service can be really bad. read more

This is no longer a functional restaurant. I spent 25min in the drive thru, attempting to buy a 20 piece nuggets and an order of fries. I finally had to go inside to demand a refund. I attempted to call inside for a status report but they hung up on me and then kept the phone off of the hook so I would not be able to call back. When I got inside, there was nobody at the register. Time and time again this McDonald's location ceases to disappoint me. Often, I wonder if they are open due to their delay of taking my order even though I am the only one in the drive through. The WORST McDonalds I have ever stepped into. Stopped here for dinner with my husband and the place was steady but not super busy. They had one person on register and she definitely took her sweet time. They over charged me for my food and forgot two items that we ordered. They seemed to forget everybody's order because I had to wait in a separate line made up of people who all their orders wrong too.
