To begin, absolutely POURING RAIN when we arrived. Soaking wet when we entered, freezing cold AC blasting from above. Struggled to figure out the ordering machine, but eventually was successful! Waited about 5 minutes for the food, however we were the only ones in the desolate restaurant. Went back to the car to try our kids meal chicken nugget suprise. First of course we had to open up our toy, to our suprise it was..a croc. Fries beautiful and warm, nuggets also warm but not as beautiful. Mickey D's? I'm not exactly "lovin' it," and I've never visited a location worthy of more than 2 stars before now. But in a world turned upside-down by the pandemic, this location exceeded my expectations. The Missus and I found ourselves traveling north of the Cheddar Curtain on three consecutive days to bring a family member to WI for radiation therapy. Visitors are not allowed inside the clinic and we did not feel safe anywhere except sitting in our car. So, we drove to this McD's to pick up coffee but also to satisfy our urgent need to "answer nature's call." There was a long line at the drive-through but few customers were inside (you could go inside to order carryout and use the restrooms, but indoor dining was verboten). This restaurant is updated and looks spiffy. They keep it clean, restrooms included. We observed a worker wiping down surfaces frequently. We have no complaints about the coffee, the breakfast sandwiches, or the polite and efficient staff. At one point, a nincompoop who entered the restaurant without a mask was promptly told to leave. If I could give a "Panny Award" (to businesses deserving a pat on the back during the pandemic), this restaurant would certainly qualify. read more

Yup..I'm reviewing a McDonalds. I'm so done with this location. 9/10 times the order is messed up. They almost always forget something, so I've learned to look in the bag before driving away. Going inside isn't any more accurate...or faster. Last night was the last time we'll eat here. We were in drive-thru for 10 minutes. We sat waiting at the speaker to give our order for 5 of those minutes. Finally I pulled forward thinking the speaker was broken. She told me she wouldn't take my order, that I'd have to get back in line. This McDonalds absolutely sucks! They are so slow and almost always have a strong attitude! They just do not care at all about the customers! This place is also very dirty and actually sort of scary because the staff are constantly yelling and bickering with each other about stuff that doesn't have to do with the job! I am surprised there hasn't been an all out brawl! One cold rainy lunch in April, me and my friend from work came in here because we were hungry and this is what we agreed on. The staff (this was when masks were still required and necessary) were not wearing their masks properly or at all! The woman took my order with an attitude I would expect at Dicks Last Resort, and proceeded to take about 20 minutes to complete my order of a quarter pounder with a large fry and a Diet Coca Cola. That's it! And there was only one other person in the line so it was not even busy! So Me and my friend from work finally sat down and ate, and as we were eating (indoors), I smelled the faint smell of cigarettes, and looked over to see the cashier smoking a cigarette in the restaurant while we were eating! This is something I have not seen since the days smoking was allowed in McDonald's more than 20 years ago! I was so shocked I got up and left halfway into my meal! Another time at about 8:00am I pulled into the practicality deserted drive thru for some breakfast food, "Just an Egg McMuffin and a small Diet Coke" I said calmly into the speaker, to which she abruptly cut me off saying " WE AIN'T GOT NO FOOD!" To which I replied "Ok well can I at least have my Diet Coke?" she responded saying "WE AIN'T GOT NO SODA EITHER!" I questioned whether I just got into the drive thru for JCPenny or McDonalds considering a fast food restaurant had no food and no soda at 8:30 on a Friday morning! I quickly drove off, vowing to never step foot (or tire) in this McDonalds ever again! And those are just two of the many outrageous stories I have of this awful, dirty, ratchet, gross establishment! I would also like to mention that the extremely poor management on behalf of the older woman really plays a factor in how bad this place is. This woman is very aggressive and is constantly yelling, causing chaos to ensue in the kitchen and the restaurant. Notably one time I was in here and there was a woman with multiple children who seemingly forgot to wear her mask seeming because of all her kids, and halfway into the cashier taking her order, this older lady, who is now identified as the shift manager, comes to the register and aggressively jabs the "masks required" sign on the plexiglass barrier with her pointer finger and says to the poor woman "either you get a damn mask on or you leave my store!" The woman apologized and asked for a mask, and the manager told her that she needed to supply her own mask or leave the store. And after she left the manager very aggressively yelled at the cashier for even serving her! I felt so bad for both the cashier and customer, and truthfully wanted to confront the manager about her outrageous mistreatment of customers and staff! However that would definitely not get me anywhere so I just got my food and figured I would write this review instead... WORST MCDONALDS IN AMERICA! read more

Ba Da Ba Ba Ba...I'm Hatin' It! This is not a McDonalds to go to. It's 8:10 am on a Saturday morning and I felt I was in a sketchy part of MKE. But this is Glendale. And unfortunately, turning totally ghetto in this part. For $15/hr, they do less. I'd say bring in the burger robots. So, here it goes. I placed a mobile order and went through Drive thru. There was a long line and people were leaving due to slacking service if any at all. So, I went inside and mentioned I placed a mobile order and said I would like to pick up inside. Talk about throwing a wrench in the gears. WOW! This must be rocket science because the useless kid behind the counter just through his hands up and walked away. Now, this little mouthy thing, J'Quelin, the manager said I got out of the line and she was not going to take care of me. No refund either. By the way, no other customers are in the place. They were all at drive-thru trying to get service. So, I asked a simple question; "you are the manager and this is how you handle a customer?" I asked for a refund and she said no, "you done got out of line". She was not going to have any of that and said "F*ck you". I reciprocated and then she said "F*ck you and your mother!". So, I dropped the use-only-in-an-emergency "C" word. I could not think of anything better for the moment. Lots of arguing between employees as well. The more people they have working, the less that gets done. No sense of urgency. And definitely no customer service skills, unless it has to do with a button to tap on a screen. So, the summary here is a customer gets punished like a child for getting out of line. And the manager is belligerent to customers. No matter how the customer acts, a manger should not speak this way. Cannot keep composure and always triggered. Sound familiar? Yes it does. ZERO customer service.
