The space is right next to the Mothman statue (and historical markers in the same location) so they have some Mothman decorations and, apparently, at times that are not 10am on a weekday, Mothman cookies are advertised on the door. There were four people visibly working in the place despite it being bereft of customers; not a single one felt compelled to speak with me and one begrudgingly accepted my order. Maybe the draw is the Mothman cookies? Maybe you get better service if you're a local? Whatever you do, note that there are trash cans near the historical markers in case you discover, as I did, that you've made quite the error.

A big spicy omelet for me that was also delicious. It would have been nice if the biscuits arrived first so we had something to start with during our wait. Easy to pay and be on our way. The wife runs in and I proceed to attempt to get gas. Got into the lot and up to a pump - the CC machine did not work, and as I'm trying to determine if I need to move to another pump, a voice comes over the speaker - "you have to pay first." Well, thanks for that nugget of wisdom, I've never done this before...anyhow, just as I'm getting into the car to move to the next pump, the wife, moving with intent and not looking too pleased, gets into the car and indicates we are leaving - now. I ask what the deal is, and she proceeds to tell me that she attempted to use the women's restroom, but that the stool and blood in and around the toilet was an issue - clearly. She goes to the counter to inform them and asks the manager if he would mind if she used the men's restroom. Clearly not moved by the story she just told involving poop and blood in the women's bathroom, he simply chuckles and says "good luck with that." And then we continued on....I would suggest stopping a bit before hitting the border despite the convenient location.
