In the meantime, though, I got one of the most delicious cinnamon rolls I've ever had. Very cinnamonny, soft but also chewy, and it was just a delight. I got a side of bacon with it. "side" means like 8 pieces. Lol. Picked up one of their banana puddings, too, because I couldn't resist. And all of it together was around $8. What a deal! They've got other food and the donut case was full of incredible looking donuts, and I'm ready to get back there soon! The only negative thing I would say is that while the toilet and the sink were clean, the rest of the bathroom....needed a paint job or something. We generally travel between Chicago and Charlotte on this road, and will now add this as a required stop on the return leg. Clean bathrooms, nice people, great handmade sandwiches to-order, and all the other grocery items you'd expect at an Amish store. The closest little town is Frankfort ... so you'll have to go there for gas ... but everything else is just fine at Old Home Place. Recommended.
