Monday 13th Went in for ice cream with my gf…read more We watched an employee with open sores on forearm handlinng food and ice cream, no gloves or covering The same employee, which later the manager confired, used dirty and soapy bleach water to clean off the cup and lid area. This employee is using the bucket of dirty bleach to wipe the top of the paper cup while the other employee, for the past 5 minutes prior to the cup incident is using this same bucket and rag to clean everything else. Counters, machines and etc We asked if that cup was for us because we are watching the same dirty, soapy and bleach covered rag being used to cleaned the inside rim area of the paper cup. The manager, insisted this the practice they use and are aloud to use daily. The manager had an attitude. The employee said they can make a new one. As the employee is throwing the ice cream out, the manager becomes rough with the employee, saying you didnt need to do that. After this, it progressively got worse. The manager made comments about how at this point, it was 30 minutes before close. That all we are doing is complaining. That he is going to call the police on us. Then proceeded to call the police, lies on the phone with the police. 1 employee says sorry then when the manager says something to her, she backs down. The manager claimed we were yelling, pouring ice cream on the floor (cameras in the store will prove otherwise), made a comment about other employees being uncomfortable. They definitely were visibly uncomfortable around him. No one was yelling from any side. Just really sad "customer service" from a "manager" because we didnt want to drink a milkshake with bleach. Trespass customers for wanting clean and safe ice cream. Even the police said they wouldn't have taken that milkshake that was made by them. Hopefully the owner sees this.

I have a basic bitch stomach, so got the "Puppy" with just ketchup. Sproßling got the Mothman, garnished with I believe onion rings and 1000 Island. Husband got his smothered in jalapeños. We split a full size onion rings, which were hot and tasty. We all had Gold Peak tea. The dogs tasted great, if I had a normal stomach I would have gotten a second one. We planned a trip to Williamsburg, VA over the week after Christmas. Coming from SoIN/Louisville KY area we are going I-64 E. About 200 miles later (and about 20 miles round trip out of the way) we ended up at Hillbilly Hot Dogs. So about the food... you'll see the pics of the dogs we ordered. Not fantastic hot dogs, but a good experience. The service was impeccable. If you left a tip the cashier sang a song. She had a really nice voice too! This place has a 3 choices for huge hot dogs with a couple of pounds of toppings. The Homewrecker, the Widowmaker, and Pick Yer Wrecker. We saw a guy and his wife eating one as we were leaving, and it was epic. It was a fun place to go to see some the nostalgia in the "old-time" things hanging as the decor.
