All of my reviews are based on expectation of the business that I entered. In this case, comparing to every other McDonald's I've ever been. This is an interesting one because it is at the base of a ramp of a main road therefore expects to get Mosley drive-through business. Therefore, the dining room was very small, only two full-size booths and a few other random seats. That said, the place was absolutely immaculate, dining room, bathroom, everything in sight. The only employee visible was the manager on duty and he was welcoming and polite. The food that I ordered came quickly and was amazingly fresh. This restaurant is closed at least as of 09JAN2022. There is caution tape up across the drive-thru and restaurant as well as across the restaurant and parking. It was too late at night to get any good photos. I miss it as the service was always great even if the warming bin needed help from time to time. The food was hit or miss but you could run in OR they would fix it and bring it to a parking place. Usually it was a young adult working the cashier and service window location and I always try to appreciate that my 2nd fast food job was a McDonald's. read more

I don't typically review chains, but I have to give a shout out to this particular location because they are the BEST McDonald's in my vast experience of visiting McDonalds' restaurants. I am a Diet Coke fiend, especially of the fountain variety, so I frequent many McDonald's and I frequent them, well, frequently! I have a lot of locations with which to compare this one. The staff are the friendliest, they are the most accurate when it comes to orders, and they have the best French fries CONSISTENTLY! Hot, crispy, just the right saltiness. This place is just on point. My parents visited recently and we stopped to get our daily diet cokes and some fries to share, and they both said my God these are the best French fries I've ever had! They're both in their 80s, that's a lot of fry knowledge and some powerful accolades! Anyway just keep killing it y'all. And your diet cokes never disappoint either. Never have I had a syrup issue, a carbonation problem, or any sort of 'off day'. You guys rock! read more

This was the best McDonald's experience I've ever had. We were a party of five and were from out of town attending our nephew's baseball game. Shelton and Nathan brought us our food, returning several times to our table to ensure we had everything we needed and refilling items. They even entertained us with jokes and didn't rush us even though it was close to closing. This restaurant is fortunate to have such fun, exceptional employees. On my way home from the concert in Strasburg - in the early am hours - I needed some meat - so at 12:30 am in the morning - not much is open out in the Shenandoah Valley - but shining like a beacon in the darkness - was McDonald's! I went through the Drive-Thru - I ordered a Double Quarter Pounder with cheese - I had to wait for a few minutes for it - they made it to order. I don't think I've ever had a burger from McDonald's where it was made fresh for me - on the spot. To the gentleman working the register tonight, you were the highlight of our evening after the holidays and a daylong road trip with grumpy elders and a screaming hungry toddler. I wish I had caught the cashier's name, but we were in a hurry to get back on the road. At the register, he was exceptionally polite and friendly and attentive to the customer. Our big order came out in a timely fashion. In the middle of our meal, the same cashier humbly came up to our table and asked if he could give our toddler a paper Kylo Ren Star Wars mask - stating it was a new batch since up until this point they had only carried C-3POs. That kind gesture really meant a lot to us. When we got home, even my husband mentioned how wonderful the guy was. I called the restaurant manager to give the guy kudos. As if the constantly broken ice cream machines (nationwide) wasn't bad enough we now have managers locking themselves in the bathroom for whatever reason, and a line of 7 cars filled with people unable to order food! This was my night too. I was all ready to be a dollar millionaire. But NO! You stole that opportunity from me. By accident we found that they had left the egg off of our Egg white McMuffin (things happen, it was busy.) We were in the car when we found it, so I went back and the manager apologized in a way that made me believe she really was sorry- not my usual fast food manager experience. I've received the wrong flavor before, no biggie. BUT I have never received a shake that was half shamrock half strawberry. Its average. They only have ketchup in packets. This is the worst thing ever when it comes to fast food. I wont get fries at this location for this very reason. GET A DISPENSER. People waste more of these packets than get used. I always ask for a bunch and then just throw them away. Yea its wasting, but imagine how much is wasted when you cant get it all out.
