Well I did this but when we got there, they said they don't allow that on weekends...but how was I suppose to know this. It's not posted on their website. But I explained we didn't know, it's our first trip and had traveled from northern Va, the staff was very nice and the mgr accommodated us. They were busy so service was not fast but we were ok with it. As for the food, maybe it's a locals thing with calling this the best pizza ever but for us, it was definitely NOT the best pizza nor the top 10! Sorry but my first clue was when our pizza came out and all I see was sliced CANNED mushrooms! I love mushrooms but not canned mushrooms on pizza...and there was so much toppings that we couldn't even tell if there were any cheese. The thin crust was good but overall, we just couldn't relate to the people that called their pizza the best. Sorry. Their wings were a good size and tasted good though. Mozzarella sticks were meh and cheesesteak didn't have much steak. The garlic cheese bread with mushrooms sounds good until....it had canned mushrooms again lol. With that said, front royal is not the place for pizza.

I may not be a "food trucks hate to see me coming" kind of person, but I do love them. Of course…read morethe accessibility of a certain food/menu selection is convenient, but I also know that a food truck represents either a early step in a chef's progression or is an extension of their already established brick-and-mortar. Having seen a local (to me) example of a chef going from folding tables at a Saturday market to catering at various locations to having a food truck then a physical location, I have a understanding of what it represents. What I do NOT know is how they produce such delicious cuisines in such a confined space. Case in point, Wayne's. I was in the area visiting family and, per usual, had my finger on the pulse of local food options. This particular day I saw that Wayne's would be in the Lowe's parking lot, serving up lobster rolls and such. After seeing the menu and the photos I knew this was bound to be a memorable experience. Though this particular day found them out of lobster roll supplies, I count it a win as I was then in a situation where another order had to be made. My Southern roots resonated with the Southern fried catfish sandwich. Say all you want about catfish, but they are mighty tasty when cooked up right. Here at Wayne's, that is exactly what they do. A 4 oz. filet on a piece of lettuce and slice of tomato, with a lemon wedge and tartar sauce on the side, and some world famous Route 11 chips as a side. The wind was cutting through the air and jackets that day so we took our orders and headed back to the truck. Within minutes my styrofoam container was empty! Perfectly breaded, fried, and delivered. I cannot wait to make more and more visits in the future. And yes, that lobster roll is still calling my name.

This was a delightful addition to the great beers at Old Bust Head Brewery…read more Food (5/5): I was so surprised to have a lobster roll on this cold Sunday afternoon! The bun was toasted perfectly and the lobster salad was great. The loaded bratwurst was really great - mustard, sauerkraut and grilled peppers. The cole slaw was creamy! Service (3/5): No table service or pagers. I had to walk back to the truck when the food was ready. Atmosphere (3/5): it was located outside of the Old Bust Head Brewery

It's a cool place for a pit stop!…read more Their fried oysters hit the spot but I'd skip the brisket next time. I saw someone chowing down on some ribs & fried chicken and I got jealous. Surprisingly, their habanero hot sauce was fantastic! I didn't see if they sell that stuff by the bottle but I'm sure they would hook you up with some. I got the impression that not many people show interest in it sooo, get on it! Their Cookies & Cream pie is meh but their blueberry pie, warmed up with a little whip cream hits the spot.

We spoke to clerk who suggested the family sampler $49.99 It came with 3 meats - we chose Pork, Chicken and Brisket, hush puppies, 3 sides - we chose Mac n cheese, greens, French fries Here is where our review comes: keep in mind we are foodies and I'm from Smithfield NC Brisket- 2/10 very thin, it gets cold immediately, you can taste the smoke but need the sauce to eat it. It didn't hold favor. Bbq sauce is very watery. Not sure why. Pork- 1/10 we did not like it at all. It was different. Ground. Vinegar overpowers everything. I almost feel it could've been better but we just couldn't eat it. Chicken- 6/10 as a family we ate it. Would picture it in a taco being great. Again vinegar overpowers. Mac and Cheese- 3/10 too milky not enough cheese.... And a true sample. Maybe 2oz. For the price it wasn't worth it. Greens- 8/10 again too much vinegar but I'm a country girl we eat the greens Hush puppies 10/10 French fries 10/10 So all in all we would not stop here again. However the staff was friendly, the decor was cute and if it works for you, go for it! Honestly I'm disappointed that we didn't like it as much as we wanted to. But I promised to always be honest in my reviews. It's a pass if you are a foodie.
