The drive thru at this CFA is poorly laid out and not efficient. There are two lanes that intersect - a lane of cars that are leaving after picking up their order and cars that are waiting to place their order. No one is directing traffic. And if you have never been here before and unintentionally block a lane, you are treated unprofessionally. The polite, respectful customer service that CFA is known for is not found here. I have gone to this Chick-fil-A 4 times in the last month. First trip they gave me regular bun sandwiches in place of my gluten free. Didn't find out till back at the office. Stuff happens. They made good on it. Past two times on small orders they didn't give me my 12 piece grilled chicken nuggets. Two trips in a row!!! Last one was refunded to my credit card when I called. This time was told that refund to card, without the card in hand could only happen if it were the whole order that needed refunding. What's happened to this place??? Done with it. The two stars that I have given is for the staff, always pleasant and efficient and the restaurant is always clean. I have been a regular at this CFA since it opened but the food has gone down hill over the last year or so. Everything is so greasy and the FF are always limp and soggy. I think all that they need to do is cook the chicken and FF a little longer. Salads are mediocre at best but I'll still go for the sweet tea. Other CFA locations that I have been to out of the area, the FF and nuggets are hot and crispy so it's something that this location is doing differently. Always super fast, and the staff is always very kind and willing to help if there's a problem with an order (if that ever even happens). They're very family friendly and have places for kids to play while the adults relax. While it can be a bit crazy at busy times they do their best to keep a calm atmosphere. The associate's that are stationed outside run the service line like a finely tuned Ferrari, you always have a smooth and fast trip through. I have always had my order correctly made with no mistakes, not like every McDonald's in town where you expect something always to be wrong. The service associates at this Chick-fil-A are always friendly and never fail to tell you that it was their pleasure to serve you, not like most other fast food restaurants in this town that make you feel like you were fortunate to be waited on. I pulled into the drive through and the boy who took my order was very rude, looked like he was having a bad day which i can understand but still, it was very noticeable. I asked him for lite ice for my fathers drink and when i drove back home, he opened the cup to see it practically fill to the brim with ice. I ordered a salad with two dressings via the Chick-fil-A mobile app which I understand is processed through DoorDash however received it with only one dressing so the salad was too dry to eat. There's absolutely no way to make a complaint except to contact the restaurant. Currently I'm without a vehicle so I called and the restaurant took zero accountability though they are the ones who bag up the orders which are then received sealed. I was told I'd have to contact DoorDash for a refund or resolution which is wild as I was told DoorDash receives the money for those purchases. Even though DoorDash didn't fail to follow instructions nor forget to put the proper ingredients into the bag, they are supposed to lose the money from the mistake of the restaurant. My boyfriend and I come to this location frequently but tonight we went through the drive-thru and were very disappointed with the service. At the window there were four employees working. We pointed out they got our order wrong when they read it back to us and they quickly fixed it in a huff. We thanked them but did not get the normal "my pleasure" or even a "you're welcome" just a simple nod. We checked our order after we drove away and found it was wrong again. We did not bother to turn around and drive back. This is the best Chick-fil-A in the Winchester area!! They're super fast, friendly, and always get your Order right! This Chic-Fli-A does it right. Food is always fresh!!! This CFA is not one of the best. I don't understand why they close at 9pm. Very lame. But the other day, I got 5 ice cream cones and was literally sad. They were tiny. It was a cone appropriate for the 2 year old sister. BUT that's not the problem. It's more of the fact that their employees don't know how to make a proper ice cream cone. I avoid this chick-Fil-a at all costs, although I don't eat at the one in the mall either. It certainly seems to be the busiest in Winchester which is probably its biggest problem. The service is what sets it apart: you feel like you're cared for and sometimes they get your food to you before you can make it to your seat. Figured they closed around 11, pulled up to the drive though at 9:59. They were friendly, took our order, even customized the salad! We got to the window, looked and saw they closed at 10. The waffle fries were cold and not edible and the chicken strips were very spicy and we could not eat those either. I would have gone back and complained if I had more time.
