    1/2 Peruvian chicken

This is an old house but they have some good food in here. The prices were not that bad at all either. I have been back and tried different plates it's legit

I was in the mood for some Peruvian style chicken, so i decided to give this place a try. I ordered a half chicken and two sides which was, yuca and plantains. The total price was close to $13 which was a pretty reasonable price. The plantains were not the sweetest but they still were pretty tasty. The chicken had good flavor. It's a small mom pop shop place, but it was nice and clean. The staff were also very nice. I would go back again.

I give their pollo ala brasa a 3.5. The seasoning and chicken marinade could be more flavorful. The yuca was on point! The sauces could be more flavorful, too. The service was great. Very kind and friendly staff.

Really good lunch spot in the area to keep you away from the fast food joints! I had the steak and cheese sandwich and substituted yucca fries in for french fries, and every bit of it was delicious. Tons of variety on the menu for any craving you might have and a great selection of unique drinks and sodas as well.

Trying to make a healthy choice, somehow that translated to a chicken burrito at Aroma. Yep, it was delicious but this is a huge burrito that's well stuffed with chicken, rice, black beans, cheese, lettuce, onions, tomato and even corn. Delicious and yep, about an hour later I had a carb crash. But it was worth it. Seats outside in the shade are awesome on a sunny warm day!

Worst breakfast burrito I've ever had. Maybe because it's not a breakfast spot, but it was bad

We'd definitely come back here for the bagels, they were fantastic. Jury is still out on their other offeringa. What we got: Sausage, egg, and cheese on toasted everything bagel with cheddar jalapeno cream cheese - 5* it was perfect and amazing and delicious. Of course it was messy to eat but I didn't mind eating it piecemeal. New Yorker on a toasted everything bagel - 5* my partner loved the sandwich. It was cooked through and warm, had a good distribution of pastrami, sauerkraut, and cheese. Wouldn't mind trying it with a cream cheese added in the future. Pepperoni Roll - 1.5* skip it, it was a big disappointment, especially compared to the bagels. The pepperoni were in long sticks and weren't warm, even after getting the roll toasted. The roll also wasn't the best. Not a worthwhile purchase.

The bagels are tough and overall an egg and cheese bagel sandwich was lackluster with little to no taste. Staff should keep a better eye on the water dispenser. Myself and others were tilting the dispenser sideways trying to get the last few drops of water out of it. Definitely won't be going back there.

The service is amazingly friendly and pretty fast. We stopped in around 2pm on a Friday, so I'm betting morning hours are a bit crazier. We got a cinnamon roll, strawberry/raspberry danish, cherry danish and cannoli for the pastries. My husband got a slice of their pizza as well and their drip coffee. The coffee was surprisingly good! The pizza sadly was mistakenly switched with another patron's piece (they take it back to the kitchen and heat it up for you). The piece my husband was given was laced with onions; something he never would have ordered. Oh well. They also don't put their pizza options on the chalkboard which I think needs to change. We didn't see that there was a pepperoni kind until we already ordered! The danishes were both very good, but I think they need to change the bread that they are baked on. It's way too dense. But the flavor was outstanding! The cinnamon roll was also very good. The cannoli kind of missed the mark for me. Overall, worth a visit and I think some minor tweaks could go a long way!

We just wanted…read morea couple of bagels and some coffee, thought it would only take a few minutes but luckily we didn't have any coins smaller than quarters for the parking meter or we would have run out of time waiting. Walked in to the very small space and were told we needed to order online, so we got out our phones and scanned one of the many QR code signs posted on every surface anordered - two bagels, one with cream cheese and the other with butter. He confirmed he received the orders immediately- even before the payment had gone through. That seemed like a good sign. We waited and watched while he made salads and other orders for people who presumably ordered online before us, but didn't come in to pick up while we were there. Eventually he made our bagels, put them in cardboard baskets, covered them with aluminum foil (not sure why we needed that cardboard waste -- would have been happy with my bagel just wrapped in foil), covered them with paper towels, put them each in separate paper bags, and placed them on the counter while calling our names (even though we were the only people in the place and he had confirmed he knew who we were when he received the order). We took the bagels and walked across the street and got our coffees from the cute cat cafe with the friendly staff. Hit the road, and pulled out our bagels in the car. First bite was so bad that I tossed the rest of the bagel back in the bag... it was so crunchy it was more of a thick bagel chip, and shards of bagel stuck between my teeth like splinters. Certainly one-of-a-kind, I've never had another bagel like it. About 10 miles later I was hungry enough to get the bagel out and try again... this time I kneaded it through the aluminum foil a bit to bread it up first. It was still very crunchy and sharp, but there were some softer bits toward the middle. There wasn't much flavor, except where it was drenched in butter (and those bites tasted like butter, which isn't a bad taste I guess). TLDR, if you want bagels in Winchester WV skip this place and go to Sclafani's.
