    Oily pulled pork

Pretty decent. If you don't want your meat covered in BBQ sauce though, tell them because I think they slather it by default. The pulled pork was very greasy and oily at the bottom. Really good ambiance, loved the outdoor seating options!

My friend came out to visit and she wanted to stop here for brunch. Seating is tight and since it's cold out no one is sitting outside. We were able to get a bar seat overlooking the parking lot. They do have a big round table if you have a few more ppl in your party. Our neighbor had a ginormous stack of plates and let me say he barely left anything on his plate. He had BBQ. We ordered b'fast food. My eggs were cooked to perfection, potatoes were on point and you got a lot of them, bacon was fantastic and it wasn't limp, and the white bread I had toasted was so yummy. My friend ordered the biscuits and gravy and she said it was delicious. Coffee was good and strong. I def want to come back to try the BBQ.

Cute little place! We came early on a Saturday morning and got right in. Service was fast! The French toast was great, but I kind of expected more from the apples. The bacon was good but a little too smoky for my liking!

Too bad I don't live in area. Found this place while visiting area. It was an early dinner for three of us so they were not busy. We sat inside which has limited seating. We ordered a three meat platter to share which was more than enough. We decided on brisket, pulled pork, ribs, baked beans and mac & cheese. Also ordered the loaded fries. Our son thought he needed a side salad while ordering which was too much food. The baked beans had more meat than beans. All meats were tender and taste great. Might be back in area in June and want to visit again.

Driving back to Washington, D.C. after a weekend in Romney, West Virginia riding the Potomac Eagle, we stopped at Bonnie Blue in Winchester on a Sunday morning. Being a perfect autumn day, they had lots of seating outdoors on their patios. To feed three of us, we ordered their highly recommended pork chops, which sounded odd at first for breakfast, but it was delicious. The pork chops were perfectly cooked and juicy. The brisket eggs benedict were tasty too. We enjoyed the Mason Jar Mimosas. The latte was just okay. Overall, it was a great experience! Staff were very friendly and quick!

Cute little restaurant drew us in to try breakfast! We ordered biscuits and gravy with fried apples and breakfast potatoes. The food came out quick and that's where the positive review ends. The food was barely warm and the biscuits were so hard I was unable to eat mine. I mentioned this to our waiter and he just smiled and walked away. My husband thought the gravy was very greasy. The apples although cold were good. I would also skip on the coffee, not with $3 a cup.

We went on a weekend and parking is scarce in the lot associated with Bonnie Blue (we got lucky with our timing). There is also street parking available, if you're able to find a spot. Service was average, nothing to rave about and got the job done. And food was average. I'd be down to come back and try their brunch items, maybe some fish, but I'll go elsewhere for my BBQ. What we got: Burnt Ends - 3* comes smothered in sauce which is never, in my opinion, a good sign because it doesn't let the meat speak for itself. I probably wouldn't get it again. "The Diesel" Three Meat Sampler (see the three meats we got below) - 4* great price for the ability to sample three different meats. We didn't love that the meat came out with an additional sauce poured over it, we would've rather had that separate to apply ourselves . Peppered Beef Brisket - 3* I wanted to like it more than I did. It was a bit chewy and the flavour was only alright. Pulled Pork - 3.5* decent meat but also not exceptional. House Smoked Kielbasa - 3.5* good flavour but a bit dry. My favourite of all the meats though. I do wonder if I liked it the best because it wasn't smothered in their house sauce... Side: Hill County Pinto - 4* I really enjoyed them, don't think I've ever had pinto beans for my baked beans before. Side: Mac & Cheese - 3* nothing special, wouldn't get again. Bread: Buttermilk Biscuits - 3.5* wish it came with butter and jam.

Funky quirky BBQ place that used to be an old Esso gas station. Parking is on the street. When walking by, you can see & smell the smoker. We walked in & there is very little seating so we sat at a counter looking outside. We enjoyed the chicken salad, collard greens, potato salad, mac & cheese, & burnt ends app. All were excellent. The burnt ends sauce was Asian-like & a little too sweet for me. The owner was gracious & very nice to us. I also enjoyed some local Chardonnay. Definitely a place to check out!

What a laid-back ambience you will find at Bonnie Blue's! The dining area is decorated with antiques and tin signs right out of grandma's attic. There are some large tables that can accommodate a party of six to eight and a bar with stools around the outer wall of the dining room. Although there were only two of us, we were invited to take one of the larger tables for our comfort. We ate lunch on a summer day. It was rather warm in the dining room as I don't believe that there is any air conditioning here. The fried chicken dinner was some of the best around anywhere. I recommend it highly.

True Southern hospitality they weren't even open yet and they said sit down. I'll give you a cup of coffee. Incredible waitress, very caring made strong recommendations of what they were good at and have you ever had a crabcake that's a size of a pancake that's what I had on my eggs Benedict this morning. They made their own bread that's so tasty and it was so much food. We couldn't even finish it so we had to take our yummy potatoes home. We look forward to trying our cinnamon roll. It is a big location, but it was filling up quickly this on a Saturday morning.

We went here on a recommendation. Love this local spot which has smoked meats on site. They have a nice brunch menu. Eggs w/ pulled pork & a biscuit. Regular breakfast too. Both the French toast and pancakes looked amazing. They have family meals to go with 2 or 3 meats plus sides. They have an assortment of baked goods too. Our server Luke was fantastic. Indoor & outdoor seating. The decor is eclectic. The only bad thing is only one bathroom. Limited parking.

Fried chx lunch: thigh steaks, sides (mac n cheese, fried apples), amazing pullman toast, sweet mustard dipping sauce

Quirky quaint resto in old gas station w patio seating. Tried the fried chx lunch w 2 sides mac n cheese, fried apples n that amazing pullman toast. Generous portions, fried n breaded w plenty of black pepper n herbs reminiscent to sausage gravy. Defo a keeper on my list. Other things to try shrimp n grits, biscuits n gravy, french toast, handmade bacon, bbq meat sampler, fri nite supper including ribeye steak and cinnamon rolls (avail weekends). If rollin thru this is defo a stop to make. Plus super friendly peeps.

We just wanted…read morea couple of bagels and some coffee, thought it would only take a few minutes but luckily we didn't have any coins smaller than quarters for the parking meter or we would have run out of time waiting. Walked in to the very small space and were told we needed to order online, so we got out our phones and scanned one of the many QR code signs posted on every surface anordered - two bagels, one with cream cheese and the other with butter. He confirmed he received the orders immediately- even before the payment had gone through. That seemed like a good sign. We waited and watched while he made salads and other orders for people who presumably ordered online before us, but didn't come in to pick up while we were there. Eventually he made our bagels, put them in cardboard baskets, covered them with aluminum foil (not sure why we needed that cardboard waste -- would have been happy with my bagel just wrapped in foil), covered them with paper towels, put them each in separate paper bags, and placed them on the counter while calling our names (even though we were the only people in the place and he had confirmed he knew who we were when he received the order). We took the bagels and walked across the street and got our coffees from the cute cat cafe with the friendly staff. Hit the road, and pulled out our bagels in the car. First bite was so bad that I tossed the rest of the bagel back in the bag... it was so crunchy it was more of a thick bagel chip, and shards of bagel stuck between my teeth like splinters. Certainly one-of-a-kind, I've never had another bagel like it. About 10 miles later I was hungry enough to get the bagel out and try again... this time I kneaded it through the aluminum foil a bit to bread it up first. It was still very crunchy and sharp, but there were some softer bits toward the middle. There wasn't much flavor, except where it was drenched in butter (and those bites tasted like butter, which isn't a bad taste I guess). TLDR, if you want bagels in Winchester WV skip this place and go to Sclafani's.

The inside gives an older coffee shop vibe and very family owned. The owner is incredibly kind and recognizes everyone that stops by. They have regular and everything bagels and you can get a breakfast sandwich with egg, cheese, bacon or sausage. The portion is huge and it's delicious. The everything bagel is full of flavor and super fluffy but also a layer of crisp. I had the pizza bagel both mornings we came and it was phenomenal. I still think about it and can't wait to come back. The portion is perfect and it also comes on an everything bagel. They also have a lox bagel and you can get bagels to go. The inside is darling with a large area in the back. Amazing place!

I'm very disappointed! Im a previous customer who will not EVER return…read more Last year, they missed the ombre mark on a two-tier cake. I let that pass. Photos attached. I paid $250 for a two-tier cake UNDECORATED. I added all of the items on the cake myself. You can clearly see they missed the ombre color scheme. This year, I ordered a 3 layer cake with a colored photo provided by my granddaughter. I requested pink, purple, pink inside with strawberry filling. They missed the color of the cake inside and outside completely. Pink vs neon pink. The cake tasted awful. The icing was slopped on the cake without care. It melted 45 minutes into transport. There was not enough support inside the cake as the top layer slid off during transport. They made an entirely different cake! A $10 refund was offered. It's such a joke. I wasn't able to pick up cake due to my father passing away. So my son picked up the cake. He couldn't refuse the cake bc it was going directly to the party. He had no time to change or complain. My granddaughter was so upset she didn't get the cake SHE picked out. Look at the photos, and YOU choose if YOU want to do business with them. The first picture was the cake my granddaughter chose. The rest of the photos are the cake we received. The girl answering the phone said the owner sits home and does paperwork. She does not come in the bakery to do any baking or decorating. That in itself allows you to make your decision if you want to do business with them. If you are looking for quality and specifics, try another bakery. Joyce, the former owner, is no longer here who took pride in everything that went out the door.  I am disputing the $72 charge with my bank.
