Quaint mom and pop shop, with fast service & very reasonable price. You get a lot of food for how cheap it is and food actually tastes great. We came with a little child; they had super clean high chair, a legit changing table and disposable liners for the changing table!! The place felt well kept and clean. Overall, very pleased with our visit. If you're looking for a home-cooked style meal, you want to visit Mom's Country Kitchen!

What a great little place. The food is great, inexpensive and the wait staff can be a lot of fun. I have come for breakfast a few times but never written a review. Today Is a meat omelette, rye toast and a bowl of grits. If you want a burger for lunch or eggs for dinner you can order what you want. There are daily specials as well as classic diner foods. Stop by during the week for a much less busy experience. Saturdays are busy and Sundays are closed.

This is one of those places that is always packed with locals a seat yourself down home diner. The food is always good hot and tasty while the menu has all your favorite diner options plus much more. The staff is working hard here be patient. The ambience is your topical diner setting with plenty of places to sit.

I had breakfast there this morning on my way home to NJ. This is a total hidden gem. Delicious food, clean restaurant, kind staff and budget friendly. The waitress could not have been nicer at 630 am in the morning. I can't have bread or toast so they swapped for sliced tomatoes. Thank you for accommodating me!!

Good food, very reasonable prices, good and friendly service, clean restaurant, a great local place close to Shenandoah National Park.

I stopped in for breakfast recently on a rainy weekday morning. It was a rather late breakfast - say around the 11:00 am time frame - but the place was packed. I ordered a single biscuit with sausage gravy, two eggs over easy, hash browns, and corned beef hash - crispy. The food came out in short order. The eggs were cooked as specified - and the corned beef hash was crispy. My only criticisms are the sausage gravy really did not have much sausage flavor. And once you had a variety of really good scratch made corned beef hashes - it's always a disappointment to get the canned stuff. I added some black pepper and Cholulu hot sauce to everything and devoured it. Service was good! #MomsCountryKitchen

We have become regulars at this place! It's our go to breakfast spot. Service is amazing! You get seated rather quickly and food comes out fast and hot. The prices are good too. You get a lot of bang for your buck here and will not leave hungry. It's a small town, mom and pop shop. However; the inside is a lot better since the renovations. My mom used to bring me here when I was a little girl and I remember they used to have carpet and old doily curtains up. Those are all gone now and I like how the interior looks now. They serve breakfast all day and have a good variety of specials and sweets every day. I highly recommend!

We were on our way home from Fort Valley to Fairfax and stopped in Front Royal for breakfast. I had bookmarked this spot and another, and we ended up here. The place was packed Sunday morning when we arrived, we waited about 10 minutes and got seated no problem (we were also a party of 8, so 10 min wait wasn't bad at all)! You can tell this is a locals spot, the waitress was definitely chummier with others than our group, but that's ok. We ordered: - country fried steak - corned beef hash - country breakfast - side of grits - omelette - scrapple - hot chocolate I got the country fried steak and it was decent. Our friend was really excited to see scrapple on the menu! We don't have that on the west coast. My sis says the grits weren't very good. This place has cheap prices for breakfast than what I am used to paying though! Overall, not a bad experience!

The prices here are reasonable. The use of too much salt and processed cheese was a turn off for me.

We were seated quickly and we noticed our waitress was Slow on getting to the tables for drinks and after about 10 minutes she came by and got our drinks. Upon her getting close and speaking it was very apparent she was very intoxicated and I remarked that it was sad about her condition. As we waited for our food we watched her interactions with other tables and she had problems remembering what table was which. She delivered food to the wrong tables and dropped other food on the floor trying to deliver it. Her fellow waitresses were actually calling her out in the middle of the dining room telling her to get her act together. When she delivered the food the hamburger steak platter was literally a dry hamburger patty that was old and had a thimble of gravy. the mashed potatoes were instant and had been poorly mixed because the powder was still dry in the middle. The glazed carrots were old soggy and brown ( see the picture) . We never got a bill because she just disappeared completely. We went to pay and the cashier was able to look up the order and we spoke to her about the waitress needing some help and her condition and all she would say is " we will try"
