Now I am told that in order to be seated everyone must be present. I was asked for my name (not sure why). No place to sit to wait inside I sat outside in the HEAT waiting for my friend. By that time no tables or booths were available except one by the hot door opening and closing. I asked for the open table farther in the back and was told "it's not available for 2 people only a big party. When I insisted by asking what if a large party doesn't show up,?? The waitress said she would ask a manager. " OK, you can have that table , but if a larger group shows up we will have to move you." REALLY? Food in hand we will have to carry our food to where?? We were finally seated at the "party table " and we waited and waited so long we got up and went elsewhere for lunch. Why did I give my name that she wrote down ?? There were booths with only 1 person having lunch. Why couldn't I be seated and order a beverage while waiting? This "everyone must be present "rule makes no sense... This was my first and last visit to L Dee's. NEVER AGAIN...

We ordered the chicken sandwich and two black bean & sweet potato quesadillas, and added a quarter pound of skrimps (yes, their spelling). Wish I had ordered a larger amount because they were cooked and seasoned perfectly. We made sure we told Robert that! I should have asked what awhile meant. 30 mins? Sure. 40? maybe. An hour....and others getting food after us, needs a better answer than shortly. As for food. Meh.... It was ok. I've had better by a lot, I've had worse by a lot. So instead of a 3 it gets a 2 for time. If you know its going to take this long going in, then you can expect to be there a long time. But if not, and you have other places to be, then this is not the place to try for a fast bite. Our friend said everything made fresh. This is a down home breakfast place where clearly everything is made to order from scratch. When we arrived, there was a woman waiting on a large takeout order. The order was for the wedding party for her daughter who was getting married that day. The bride so loves this place that she wanted her wedding party to share breakfast from her favo spot. So you get the picture. Very simple, very local. We ordered an array of breakfast items that included omelettes, grilled cheese, egg and cheese and pancakes, toast, along with coffee. The service was wonderful, the people who work here are wonderful. The food is good, certainly not great. I am from a bigger city and perhaps my expectations are skewed from that. This is a great place to visit for breakfast just outside of the National Park and it feels nice to support the local business. Just know what to expect.
