We sat outside here on a Saturday and had a great time! We stayed with the dry rub wings, and I ordered a burger with a GF bun. The wings were incredible, and the burger was good but I would probably try something different next time as the bun wasn't the best GF one I have had. The sweet potato fries were also great! This place has plenty of gluten free options and even has a dedicated fryer! The service was really quick and Patrick was an awesome server.

We've visited the Winchester location numerous times so I wanted to check this one out. There's a few things different in the menu. The nachos got were huge and could feed 3-4 people. The atmosphere is nice. It's helpful they have outdoor seating too. The waiting staff were very good in keeping tabs on us.

Hip, fun, beer spot that sells AMAZING chicken wings!! On our way to Rileyville, we visited Vibrissa for a quick beer & appetizer and was quite surprised how good their food was. Came with a dog & a kid, so seated outside. Thought the place was spacious and cute. Service was great, fast, attentive. Ordered a variety of food and everything tasted amazing, may I say, even better than some spots in DC. Beer was alright, not the best not the worst but they were fine enough to drink, and did its job! We'll certainly be coming back if we're in the area. It was such a fun pit stop!

This is a great little spot in the heart of downtown Front Royal. The brewery has plenty of seating inside at the bar, tables, and booths along with plenty of outdoor seating. They also have a really big menu and full kitchen! We got the wings and they were amazing. Crispy, no breading, and plenty of sauce on them. As a wing enthusiast, these were top tier and large wings. It seems like they might bake them and then flash fry to get them crispy. Well done! The backs were just okay. They cheese sauce was a bit bland and they left a lot to be desired. The main issue was the backhoes weren't layered with toppings so once the top layer was eaten, we were left with just plain tortilla chips. The staff was extremely friendly and the beer selection was fantastic. Their hazy IPA "Floof" was very refreshing.

We needed a local 'pet-friendly' restaurant. Found this place: good food, very friendly staff, comfortable atmosphere, near to the center of town. Fro-Ro has done a good job of recapturing the small-town ambiance missing from so many communities. The staff were engaging and accommodating (we had three children under 3 with us, plus a pup) and we were afforded comfortable seating outside under heaters. Definitely a return trip for dessert next time in town

We shared the Chesapeake Fries, crispy tofu bites, veggie potstickers and the roasted beet/goat cheese salad: all delicious. The Crushin' on Whiskey cocktail and the Pucker Punch beer were great compliments. Waitstaff were attentive and friendly.

I had the pimento smash burger on sourdough with a side of fries. Service was excellent! The tallow fries tasted great but could have been a little crispier.

Great place, loved the beer selection. Looked like a great cocktail selection, though we did not partake. Service was perfect, everyone took care of us and was very nice. Special thanks to Abigail R, our server. Wife had a Reuben and onion ring, said it was great, she shared a ring, I agree. I had the Korean meatloaf, broccoli and mashed potatoes, so good, a little extra Korean flavor, phenomenal! We sat outside on a perfect night, loved the overall feel of this place. Are traveling, so can't say I will get there again, but highly recommend

We stopped in on our road trip on the suggestion of a local when the BBQ restaurant we targeted was closed. Vibrissa is located on the quaint Main Street with convenient public parking around the back. If you enter the front, walk through to the host station. There is indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outside in the evening of a 90+ degree day. It was super pleasant. All the staff was cheery and pleasant. We got the pork belly sliders, jalapenos (cheesy and stuffed with crab), and fried pickles. All were delicious. Don't miss the beers! The stout was smooth and creamy: a real winner. The Pilsner was light and delicious with no aftertaste. My husband recommends the IPA (twice!). For dinner we got the ramen (not traditional Japanese, but delicious nonetheless. Good noodles), buglogi style beef (generous and good flavor), cheese steak sandwich (not just good, really good). I got the Greek salad and added fried tofu (I know, not a traditional choice, but o recommend: crispy and creamy), and kids Mack. The salad has tons of delicious olives, pickled onions....so good! I would definitely go again and again!

Omgosh! Is the first thing I can say about this place! I was VERY hesitant but.im so glad we decided to visit. Hubby got pork bellies, he LOVED THEM! I got the collard green melt with pepper jack cheese and it was probably the BEST SANDWICH I HAVE EVER HAD! Hubby had Bacon Me Crazy burger and we both said best meal we have ever had! Michelle was an awesome server. Very attentive, friendly and personable...I wish I lived here, I would visit often. If I'm ever back here, I will definitely visit. Amazing ...

Ask the Community - Vibrissa Beer

Is smoking alowed on outside patio?

No it is not. But a few steps away is ok.

Do you have an outside patio area and do you allow dogs?

Yes we do. Because of the small area, we allow only a few dogs in the outside beer garden. It is always at the discretion of the manager on duty.

SOLD! thank you for making your none beer liking customers right at home in a brewery. The brewery itself was so cute and cozy and as soon as we walked in i said someone is making chilli and i need it. So we ordered that and the picnic basket. Was blown away because both choices were exactly what i needed. The chili was so yummy and a little bit spicy. The picnic basket had this dip that i could not stop eating even after the bread and the crackers we used to dip were gone. This brewery has board games and what looks like space for live music that would be perfect chill night out. My friends all tried beer and they all liked it. I know nothing of hops and what not so i have nothing to add here but my shandy was great and if we didnt have other stops to make i would have definitely would have a second. if you ever find yourself in virginia and in need of a nice place to hang out, watch the game or if you ware craving chilli, head here everyone is nice and welcoming and you will get good food and drinks

Tables are reserved for 2.5 hours, so I assume the party before us didn't use their full time. We ordered an appetizer and a bottle of wine. The brie cake was delicious--even for someone who doesn't usually like goat cheese (it was layered in)--but unfortunately, no one in our group enjoyed the cheesecake. The winery is both dog- and kid-friendly. All the parents we encountered kept their children supervised, which is a winery rule and one I really appreciate now that we have kids ourselves. Most of the dogs were also very well behaved, though one was repeatedly growling at passing dogs, which was off-putting. While the winery can't control every patron, we choose to leave our dog at home when she's not in a social mood, and it would be nice if all dog owners did the same.

Not a single table was available. Instead, there were rows of empty tables with RESERVED signs on them, apparently reserved for ghosts, because no one sat at them for 2+ hours. Meanwhile, groups of people, including us, circled the patio like vultures waiting for a table to finally open. The oyster pop-up bar had a line wrapping around the patio like people were waiting for Taylor Swift concert tickets instead of shellfish. There are small campfire setups around the outside area. But in 69°F full sun with a gentle breeze, you'd think no one would use them. Wrong. The whole side patio and hill area turned into a smoky campsite, with diners getting smoked out and leaving. On top of that, we had to fend off a rotating cast of unattended children. Kids wandered around like they were in an unsupervised theme park. One repeatedly tried sticking their hands in our dog's face while she was calmly chewing on a bone outside like a civilized creature. We ended up disciplining other people's children just so our dog could exist without being harassed. Food (4/5): We ordered the Nduja Sausage and Ricotta Pizza ($26), a red sangria pitcher ($40), a red sangria glass ($12), and the s'mores cookie tray ($10 for 3 cookies). The pizza was delicious, but the crust was so thin and flimsy it needed structural reinforcement. I used part of the previous slice to smear the ricotta around to get a balanced bite each time. The sangria was great, but $40 for 4 1/3 full glasses of wine felt disappointing. It's sangria, not liquid gold. The cookies were good, but for $10, 3 cookies should at least come with hot cocoa. Service (4/5): The lines were out the door. That is not the staff's fault. This place is popular, and the food is great. While I waited the 15 minute line to order, I reviewed the menu, dodged tiny children, and stepped away from random dogs on leashes inside the establishment trying to jump on me. It felt like a low-stakes obstacle course. When I got to the counter, I placed my order quickly. The bartender whipped the screen around with such precision and stared me down during the tip prompt like I was making a morally questionable decision. I pressed "No Tip" (listen. I stood in a line, picked up my own order, and bussed my own table) and his face shifted from "happy to help you" to "you have personally wronged me and my ancestors" in seconds. After tapping through 5+ different prompts, he told me to set a timer on my phone for 10 to 15 minutes and go to a different building to pick up my pizza. Finding this second building required me to use my nose like a bloodhound, following the faint scent of pizza through crowds until I finally tracked it down.

There's a variety of beers and ciders available, including some sodas and lemonade. I tried a variety of fall offerings and they were all okay, nothing to write home about. There was a Belgian-style beer and a mango cider that were probably my favorites. The food was pretty decent. They have Beyond Burgers (to the delight of vegetarian Child #1) as well as regular beef burgers. My wife got a Smokehouse Burger which was really tasty. I got a cheesesteak which didn't blow me away, but was decent enough. We all split some pickle spears and pretzel appetizers. Again, not too bad. The Spicy Smokehouse dipping sauce that came with the pickles was delicious! There's plenty of seating in the main room with the live music, as well as seats upstairs. We opted to sit in the anteroom that connects with the coffee shop. It had several tables, as well as a little area for kids to play - they even provided some toys and books and it kept Child #2 entertained after he wolfed down his dinner. There are old movie posters from the Box Office's old days that add a little charm and nostalgia. Pro Tip - cash is king! They gave a small discount for paying in cash (i.e. didn't pass on the surcharge for paying by card). Maybe I'm just a Yankee not used to southern hospitality, but I was blown away by how friendly not only the staff were, but also the other diners. It was a nice touch to make us feel very welcome on a trip away from home. If I'm ever back in the Strasburg area, I would come back.
