My experience was very disappointing. I paid the full price for my order and, when I picked it up, I noticed that the portion was much lower than what corresponds to what they charge. The chicken burrito I had was made correctly, but of course if you walk in and order you're literally supervising them making it, so no surprise there. The meat had a lot of flavor though and they didn't skimp on the ingredients which is always appreciated. Getting in and out of this location is a bit tough unfortunately. The inside is really small, with not a lot of seating, and it was crowded and not very clean. If I wasn't placing an order to go I doubt this would be my regular go to Chipotle. read more

For being BRAND NEW this place is kind of a gross wreck. Stood in line for about 10-12 minutes (only 1 person in front of me). There was only 1 employee working the line and then running the register as well. No one was changing their gloves or cleaning up behind themselves. The open kitchen was a disaster. Chipotle is my go-to restaurant when on the road. I value the clean-sourced and from-scratch food, as well as the clean and friendly atmosphere. However, this particular restaurant in Front Royal should not even bear the name. From the moment I walked in I felt disgusted; all surfaces were filthy, food spills, smudges, dirty napkins, it looked as if a team of middle schoolers had just swept through. However the filth did not stop in the dining room area: when I approached the counter I observed the same filthy disarray throughout the kitchen. Many of the pans holding ingredients were either empty, or nearly so. I observed a young man attempting to chop meat, and had to restrain myself from going back to show him basic knife skills so that he could get the job done quickly, efficiently, and without harm to himself. Sigh... When I stepped up to order I was greeted with a messy sign informing me that the store was out of sour cream and guacamole. How can a Mexican grill be out of sour cream and guacamole? There is an Aldie, Walmart, and a Target all within walking distance and yet they are out of sour cream and guacamole?!! One of the things that I also always appreciate about Chipotle when I visit other stores across the country is the warm, friendly, and welcoming staff. Not so at this one! It seemed as if every employee was depressed, which is understandable in such a filthy working environment! The only person smiling and seemingly cheerful was the bossy young woman who may have been in charge, who brushed me off with a flourish as I waited to pay. She was too busy doing some thing else, apparently, to promptly attend to me. Normally there is always someone at the register ready to close you out and make sure you have all you need. Not so here! After having paid I went to the counter for napkins, etc. Tough luck, of the three or four napkin receptacles every single one was empty. And of course, as with the rest of the store, the area was disgustingly filthy. I stepped outside with my order, astounded. Had I not been incredibly hungry I would absolutely not have eaten there! But once I was outside I chatted for a moment with a couple who had brought their own sour cream, and were having their dinner. They said they had been there a few times before, because it was the only local place that was serving some thing other than garbage, they had come back. But they told me that every time they came the conditions were exactly the same. Ditto a woman whom I ran into at the nearby Aldi store where I went to buy my own sour cream to go on my food. (Of course, I should have taken the receipt back and been reimbursed since chipotle should have provided such.) I mentioned that I needed sour cream for my meal and so I had stopped in just for that, and this woman said she had been in earlier with her son, and she was also absolutely disgusted. Later I also mentioned this experience to one of my children, who relayed exactly the same experience. My son-in-law occasionally eats there because he works nearby and doesn't want McDonald's. He said that literally every time he goes and they are out of basic things, and always dirty. And so it seems that my experience was by no means out of the ordinary. I will absolutely never, ever again step foot in that store unless there is a change of ownership and management. It seems such a shame as this chain normally produces excellent quality and value, with courteous and friendly service. The worst chipotle i've ever been to. Hadn't been in a month because the last time i did it made me sick for days. Terrible experience, took 20 minutes to get my order and it was barely busy. instead of helping out the one person on line , the joke of a manager is taking dishes back one by one instead of helping causing the line to build. The meat was undercooked , stale and cold. it seems they just cook enough for the whole shift at once instead of keeping it fresh. The kitchen was filthy, had no white rice and no regular chicken. Don't even consider ordering delivery from here you will waste your money. As a former chipotle employee this was truly shocking and pathetic. They need to shut this place down or fire all the current management and get someone who knows what they're doing in here. They really need to get it together. Out of my last ten visits i have been dissatisfied every single time. This review is based solely on the cleanliness and service. I've never been to a chipotle that was this gross. The entire prep counter was covered in dried food drops, crumbs , finger prints, Food. Food prep area was a mess, drive through counter was a distaster.The trash cans were all full, the staff was slow , one person at the counter to service and finally did so after 10 min in line with only two people in front of me. For the THIRD time in a row this Chipotle has been out of guacamole and tonight they were out of black beans and some other things too. This was before 7:00 pm on a Thursday. I tried to call them to make sure they had the guac but of course no one answers the phone. Also, many times, they are short staffed and barely have anyone working. I am so disappointed in Chipotle.
