I wasn't prepared for that hahaha I was able to find a few things that were vegetarian friendly. My mom wanted nachos, and I wanted a cheese quesadilla. My dad was craving a burger. They had all of those. It was the perfect stop. There was some sort of street fair going on, so we grabbed our food and walked around the little town. Service was good. The restaurant isn't very big. They sure do whip up some good grub though! I can see why they have good reviews. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the mountain. Next time I go up, I will come back here.

The chili is also a 10/10. The burger was the one letdown. The patties carried a bitter, over-charred note... not smoky in a good way, more like they picked up burnt bits off the cooktop that needed a good scrape-down. On top of that they were bland, and really needed salt, seasoning, or both. Both my brother's A Burger and my Green Chile Burger. That said, I didn't let the burnt bitterness ruin the rest of the meal, because everything else was so good. Hoping the burgers get some love next time, but even as-is there's enough here to enjoy. I'll be back for those fries and chili either way.

A little overdone on the cheese so there's some tasty browned spots, well-distributed toppings, some cornmeal on the bottom for that just-out-of-the-oven touch. Not greasy, properly cut so the pieces come apart without the cheese gooing together. We ordered once because it was late and we were tired and it was quick and didn't break the bank. Instead of being understanding or communicating clearly with customers who had already been waiting, she came across as rude and dismissive. Meanwhile, other surrounding businesses were already back up and running. Unexpected outages happen, but a busy restaurant should have some type of backup plan or process for situations like this, especially when customers have already been waiting that long. We were looking forward to eating here, but the lack of preparation and customer service made the experience extremely disappointing.

We got the Cali veggie burger and spicy veggie burger, and both were AMAZING. Honestly, one of the best veggie burgers I've had. We got fries with one and a salad with the other. If ever confused, GET THE FRIES They were so fresh and delicious! The staff were super friendly, there's plenty of parking in the lot, and it's just a short drive from Lake Arrowhead. They had a good number of vegetarian options (which was why our friends suggested it), and the hubby got the Bbq veggie burger with fries, and I got the veggie mushroom cheese steak sandwich. The hubby thought his burger was just ok, but the fries were amazing. I in turn thought my sandwich was great, but the side salad was just fine. Our friends enjoyed their grilled salmon salads. Then I noticed he rang it up as "apple slices." When I asked why, he said "oh, we don't have a way to charge for water, so this is what they told us to do." Right after this, the guy in line behind me walks up, orders absolutely zero food, asks for three waters, and the exact same worker hands them over completely free of charge. When I asked why I was being charged while the next guy got a free pass, the worker claimed it was because I asked for a "large" water. Fine. I told him to cancel the large water and just give me five "regular" waters instead. The manager came over to process the refund. I tried to friendly point out how ludicrous this all was, but she just acted completely annoyed with me. Because the rule apparently dictated they couldn't let a large cup leave without a charge, she took the large water, dumped the water out, and threw the plastic cup in the trash. Then, the original worker came back and handed me five regular waters plus a cardboard drink carrier. So, because of a policy about the cost of a single plastic cup, they threw a brand-new cup in the garbage, wasted the water, and then handed me five cups and a carrier for free. The level of administrative stupidity here is off the charts, and the manager's attitude made a ridiculous situation even worse.

This was hands down one of the best burgers and malts I've ever had. The burger was fresh, juicy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right. Every bite tasted like it was made with care instead of rushed out of the kitchen. Then came the malt, thick, creamy, and packed with flavor. It was the perfect classic pairing with an already incredible burger. One of the coolest touches is how they name many of their burgers after classic cars. It's a fun, nostalgic theme that fits the old-school malt shop atmosphere and gives the menu a personality you don't see very often. Great food, friendly service, and a unique experience make this place well worth the drive. I'll definitely be coming back to work my way through the rest of those "car" burgers. Highly recommended!

The fish and chips are made with cod and I highly recommend. Very crispy and hot. You get three fairly generous pieces per order. The thing that really makes this place shine are there milkshakes and malts. We offered to upgrade the kids beverage to a peanut butter chocolate milkshake for a very affordable price and served as dessert for the whole table. This place is no-frills, but very family friendly. There were lots of families there. For napkins, they had a giant roll of paper towels on every table. The bathrooms were fairly clean.
