Good Burgers and fries. Limited Parking. You may think they're not open because they have their shades up, but they may well be.

The lady at the pick up window is horrible. So rude and short with the customers. Food wasn't good. But we wanted to support local.

Try the Philly Cheesesteak! It's a must for me! Definitely the best on the mountain. They still have the Root Beer Shakes too!

Arrived with a party of 4 and there was a short wait to get seated. There's about a total of 12 or so tables but it was moving at a decent pace. Unfortunately things went south from there. Got seated and the waiters were pretty fast and attentive. I had an early breakfast so decided to go with the lunch Patty Melt as it was a restaurant house specialty. Friends ordered the BBQ sandwich and Ragin Cajun. It took almost 30+ minutes for the food to come out and most of the meats came out very dried for some reason. The fries were fabulous though. Decor is very mountain diner-esque but clean and comfy. Maybe what we ordered was not exactly their specialty as I saw lots of people eating breakfast. But the lunch menu was just not it on Sunday sadly. Was so hungry from the long wait that I even forgot to take photos of my food.

We opted to sit outside and they turned on all of their outdoor heaters for us, even though we're were initially the only ones out there. It was a cold night but the heaters made it comfortable. I ordered the chicken tenders and fries. One of my friends ordered the bacon bbq burger with onion rings. We split these plates so we could both try two different dishes. I accidentally ordered a buffalo sauce instead of the bbq for my nuggets, and I was not a fan of the sauce. It was a dark sauce with too much smokiness to it. My friend ordered a side of bbq and that one was much better. The tenders are crispy and pair well with their bbq sauce or their ranch. The burger was also tasty. Fries were okay and I did not like their onion rings. They had a different taste to them. I couldn't put my finger on the flavor but it wasn't good in my opinion. My other friend ordered mozzarella sticks, and they were not good. No cheese pull, and it honestly tasted like moderately fried string cheese. The food took a really long time to come out. I know they were busy, but once the food came, we inhaled it because of how hungry we were. The vibes there are excellent though. We really enjoyed the music and the staff were fantastic. I still recommend making a pit stop here if you're ever in the Crestline area.

Its appearance just surprised me and my original review was unfairly driven by pregnancy hormones. I love this place. First off, this rating in a standalone incident. Normally, I'd easily rate Mountain Cravings a 4.5/5. But tonight I ordered a chili cheese dog and please see the picture for reference. It's like an alien came to Earth for the first time and tried its best to decipher what a chili cheese hotdog is and that's what I got. It tasted... fine? Good enough? However, if you're pregnant and you are craaaving a chili cheese hot dog on a cold and rainy day, please brace yourself to not get an actual chili cheese hotdog. You will get a hot dog with some pinto beans, a small slather of chili (?), some cheese, and lots of onions. Maybe a few cilantro pieces included. Anyway, other than this, Mountain Cravings is one of THE best places to grab food. They have THE best fish and chips. I'm just so sad about my chili cheese hotdog experience.

I wasn't prepared for that hahaha I was able to find a few things that were vegetarian friendly. My mom wanted nachos, and I wanted a cheese quesadilla. My dad was craving a burger. They had all of those. It was the perfect stop. There was some sort of street fair going on, so we grabbed our food and walked around the little town. Service was good. The restaurant isn't very big. They sure do whip up some good grub though! I can see why they have good reviews. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the mountain. Next time I go up, I will come back here.

Walking in yesterday, it was such a good-vibe, welcoming place. There was sunshine coming through the large windows and color all around. Our waitress was warm and welcoming as well as on top of our dining needs, even as it got busier. We 4, two of us being vegetarians, each found something delicious to enjoy. I got the BAT Omelette, which was generous with cheese, avocado, bacon, and as a delightful switch up, cherry and grape tomatoes. The presentation was a feast for the eyes, with its dainty and colorful flower petals on top. In fact, all dishes were beautifully presented. I ordered fruit instead of potatoes, which was enough to share. My mom found her bagel and lox delectable and a large enough portion to take 1/2 home. Friends found vegetarian enjoyment in the Goat omelette and the breakfast sammie. They were both well pleased with bellies full. All of us were happy brunchers ! As we dined, the place welcomed a steady stream of guests, both inside and out, which is furry best friend welcoming. So, on Sundays, come early. Great food, vibe, service....a perfect opportunity to break bread together when local or up the hill for a visit.

This is a must stop when you're in Lake arrowhead. I forgot the name of the burger, they use car names for the names of their burgers. I got the cheeseburger with bacon. It was amazing. I really wanted to get the double bacon cheeseburger with extra bacon, but after talking to the waitress, she recommended if I'm not that big of an eater, to go with a single. Let me tell you the single is very filling. If you have a huge appetite, Then go with the double. The burgers here are very well endowed and will not leave you craving for more. We had a mini vacation in Lake Arrowhead, and this business was one that I was looking forward to…read more Why? A tasty thick malt sounded amazing, especially if the business is kind of known for it with many options. I had not had a malt in so long. I kept wondering when we could find a window to squeeze this in. We finally walked a mile over from where we stayed (a lot of this was uphill so that was rough for me) and we plopped down, ready for our malts. I ordered a rocky road malt and Steven ordered a chocolate chip malt. The server was surprised at the easy order she received as we did not order any food or anything. Yet, it still took some time. Finally the malts arrived, but unfortunately we were left so disappointed. Malts are supposed to be thicker than shakes, but these drinks were pretty much just melted ice cream. So, we are not sure if the orders were placed as shakes and still much more melted than other shake shops, or what happened. I felt like I was drinking melted ice cream with a spoon. Once I got through my glass, I didn't bother trying to pour more from my metal cup into the regular cup. I just started scooping from the extra stainless steel cup, hoping to save some thicker portions in there. There were a few, but not a lot. Since I was expecting a thick malt or something thicker than liquid ice cream, I devoured it pretty fast and now had a tummy ache. We tried it, but it didn't work out for us.
