This has to be the worst McDonalds in Cincinnati. I've been here a handful of times and it's an awful experience each time. Today, they were only accepting orders from the kiosk or app, not through the drive thru. So I went inside to order. The fries were awful and overcooked. The cheeseburger had ketchup smeared all over the top and had stale bread. Inside, there was trash everywhere. Tables were dirty and they were out of drink tops. I'll not stop here again. read more

I was there yesterday afternoon and experienced the manager being extremely rude to the customer in front of me. The customer seemed reasonable in his concerns, but the manager berated him, refused to serve him any further and refunded his money. This is a horrible McDonalds. I've been giving them business for almost 30 years. At first I was a kid and didn't care spending my parents money for slow service, inaccurate orders and/or rudeness. Once I got older this particular location kept me from entering any McDonalds. Then once I had kids I made the decision to take my son here to have him enjoy his first of many happy meals. Even though he was happy with his food, like all kids are when they get a toy with their meal. Yet it was wrong and so was mine along with grease all over the buns, and a sloppy assembly of sandwiches. Almost every single time. And just recently as of yesterday, along with several times before, in the past few months. I would wait in a line of 3 to 4 cars deep. Along with two speakers to be told they are taking mobile orders. Which in turn cause my kid to be upset not getting the food he wanted. Even though I know being short staffed or having problems with equipment. Does not negate the fact that this shouldn't be happening every week. I feel the district manager and/or any manager that is at this location is incompetent. This location should be closed. The employees fired. With the company taking drastic measure to not allowing any location to act like this. DO NOT GO HERE! You will not enjoy a single moment of it. read more

As we waited in the drive through to pay, the workers left the window open and loudly gossiped and ignored us until the car in front of us was gone. Everything including customer service. I went at around 10:10 this evening to get a quick meal after hanging out with friends. I was going to give my business to the Mariemont McDonald's on Wooster Pike, but I ended up regretting it. I went to the speaker to say my order, and the very kind employee. Let me know that they're short-staffed and aren't taking orders except for doing the mobile app order. I completely understood that, and that is not my issue because I understand what short staffing is like. The problem was that I went to the window to put in my mobile app number thing, and the guy helping me was very nice except it looks like he was in a rush. So I took the receipt and I proceeded to the next window two seconds later. As I'm already past the window, I can hear him yelling at me. I get to the pick-up window and I see him coming back yelling at me through the window and flailing his hands. Then a couple of the employees that were there kept peeking through the window to see who I was, and I felt uneasy knowing that there's someone yelling at me and people are trying to find out who I am. I've been proceeding to pick up my food, and I ask what's going on. Did I do something wrong? Why is everyone yelling at me? The so-called manager on duty comes over screaming at me, asking what's the problem. I said, "Why are you screaming at me?" And he goes, "You snatched the receipt out of the window, and I didn't appreciate that." Which I did not, after looking at my dash cam footage. I politely take the receipt, say thank you, and proceed. I then was going to try to clear the air with the manager, but he decides to shut the window in my face and say, "Have a good night." And they still continue to talk about me, which is definitely not OK. As a manager at a restaurant myself, it is not OK to be yelling at your customers because that is one of the worst-case scenarios as someone in management and is just not OK. So please proceed with caution. As a sidenote, when we got home to look at the food we ordered, we had a thing of fries missing from the order, and everything was thrown in the bag, so nothing was packaged up nicely. read more

Something is wrong every time you order here. They always have you pull forward to save their times so you cannot correct the mistake.

Ordered DoorDash and received burnt sausage, egg, and cheese as well as burnt bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches. 4 total. Not only were they burnt but they were loosely wadded rather than wrapped in the paper so we had the pleasure of rebuilding our burnt sandwiches after fishing through the bag for parts. This McD's is very close to home and we've continued to give them another chance - and time and time again I get burned with incorrect orders, terrible service, and wait times that truly bend reality. This was probably one of the cleanest looking McDonald's I've seen. The eating area is nicely arranged and lit for the small space. The workers were very friendly and were attentive to acknowledging me when I walked up to order. The hamburgers were one of the better quality ones I've had in my life. The patties were a little dry, but the bun was super soft and fresh along with ingredients that looked like they weren't just slopped on. My nuggets came organized in the box which I have never seen before. This small touch made them look so much more appetizing. Pretty good place for a mcdonalds. As of October 2012 there were renovations going on to likey make this look more like the newer overly sophisticated McDonalds. regardless of if its before, during or after renovations, Mcdonalds will be a McDonalds. Customer service was average even though the assistant manager wanted to yak about "he did this, she did that" even as i waited to make an order. Food was mostly hot and good though, better than some other locations. read more

Do not drive away before checking that you have every single thing that you ordered. I don't know why I continue to go back to this location. It's not often I eat McDonald's, but the handful of visits to this location always ends in disappointment. every. single. time. Ask for no ketchup, you'll get extra, ask for cheese, the cheese is missing, order nuggets & they'll ask if you'd like dipping sauce-but don't expect any, because it will be forgotten, order happy meals, they'll forget your kiddos' sides & Today, my kids didn't even get their drinks. It was too far away to be worth turning around by the time I realized, "mommy I'm thirsty!"....(oh crap). So frustrating to pay for service and get half of what you ordered every single time. It is a clean location and the staff is usually pretty nice, but they never have the ice cream machine up (which is one of the only things my family orders). Even on a 96 degree day their machine is "down for cleaning." Not cool, literally. read more

Not that I make it a habit of reviewing McDs but this is the absolute WORST, most poorly managed McD in the area. Prepare to wait 20 minutes for a breakfast sandwich DURING breakfast hours and it's not even that busy. Inside, especially by the sofa fountain, is usually abuzz with gnats and there are wrappers all over the place. If McD can pull a franchise from an owner, they need to do it with this one ASAP! read more
