Stopped in for lunch. Sat at the bar. Great, friendly service. Cheese coneys are always delicious. Zero complaints about the food. It's just the pricing. They have done away with any combo meals, so lunch for 1 at the counter is $15 for 3 cheese coneys and a drink. It's a lot for what it is. I'll be back, but if find that other Cincinnati chili chain has much better pricing. read more

I haven't dined in Skyline Chili or any Chili areas for more than a decade. I have to be in the mood. My Mr. was craving it and we live just a street down, so why not. People have asked me, are you skyline or gold star. Quite frankly, I can do both. But for some reason, I love the saltiness of Gold star, but Skyline has that comfort taste. We dined in on a Friday night and you can't go wrong. You sit wherever you want and it's out within 5 minutes. If I was going to do this, I'm going to do this right. I got the chili cheese fries and a cheese coney. Just enough and filling. My Mr. got the 5 way and the Jalapeño Cheddar Mett. Let's just say after I was done, i was satisfied and it hit the spot. Of course you have to add their signature hot sauce to top it off. I have this hot sauce at home and it packs a punch. I don't eat chili all the time, but when I do, I will make sure to back to this location. Everyone is friendly, service is great, reasonable pricing and a great cheat meal. Skyline, you will never disappoint! read more

I'll admit, I haven't been to a Skyline in a while, but with one now within five minutes of my place, I felt a greater need for a Cincinnati chili fix. I'll also admit that I'm typically a Gold Star guy, but I'll give any place a chance, even Skyline. And I'm glad I did. The food was excellent, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was pretty laid back. My lady and I went on a Friday evening to get our chili fix. The one thing I didn't like too much about the place is the parking lot. It can be a little confusing if you're going for the first time. If you enter through their main entrance, you can't access the drive-thru, two massive plant pots block you from turning right, and the parking spaces are the mainly in the opposite direction.Instead of using their entrance from Wooster, I'd recommend using the entrance on the road to the right of the building, Germania St. It's much easier. But once inside, you feel right at home almost instantly. Sit wherever you want and a server will be right with you. Our server was right with us within a minute. My lady ordered the chili cheese fries and a cheese coney while I ordered a 5-way and a jalapeño cheddar mett. Our orders were ready within about five minutes. Talk about fast, right? And good? Definitely! I'll admit, my mett didn't have the spicy kick I was expecting, but it still had good flavor. My 5-way was near perfect though. My lady loved her chili cheese fries for sure. And of course the price was VERY nice. I'll admit, I could see stopping by here more often now, especially since it's so close to where I live. How could anyone not? I definitely predict more Skyline time in the near future. read more

We were visiting Cincinnati for graduation. My husband and I had no idea that Cinci is known for its chili until our waitress shared that info with us. As far as this establishment, upon arrival we were greeted and seated quickly. Service was excellent. Food was delicious. Our waitress was super sweet. Highly recommend! read more

I'm pretty they've made a decision recently to skimp on the amount of chili. Not just this location either. Now they mix it in with the pasta to make it not as noticeable. It's almost all noodles and cheese at this point. If they keep it up, they're going to start loosing business. read more

Came here yesterday out of my way to try a different Skyline other than Anderson. Was greeted nicely. No crayons or paper for kids to color, cheese tasted previously frozen gritty and like in small pieces like bottom of the bag. Couldn't finish my coney. 6 dollars for kid 1 hot dog milk and 2 ores. Lived on skyline my whole life this was super disappointing. Might convert to gold star. Likely won't be back to this location any time soon. read more

You can never go wrong with Skyline Chili. There is something for everyone, the service is always quick and friendly, and the prices are incredible. This location was super busy during the lunch rush, but we were still in and out and in a timely fashion. I always recommend a three-way, it's the best option on the menu. read more

So I just moved to Cincinnati to make it home, and everybody says I have to try Skyline! So toNight was the Night. First time I've ever had chili on my spaghetti. It was good. They definitely didn't skimp on the cheese. Now, let me be clear, I don't kNow if I would call this chili. It's more of a meaty soup with a distinct flavor. Got a sweet taste to it, I'm betting there's chocolate in it. The cheese coneys, aka chili cheese hot dog, or maybe I should say cheese chili hot dog. On the smaller side for a hot dog, but very tasty! I'll be back, maybe try the 5 way chili next time. read more

Visiting from out of town and I finally got to try Cincinnati's famous Skyline! It definitely lived up to the hype. I got the small 3 way and a coney with mustard and onions and let me just say... YUM. Perfect portion too. There menu is wild and makes all sorts of delicious items with their chili. I can totally see why this is such a famous staple here. Loved it! read more

I've gone here a couple times and it's relatively quick getting my food but the worker running the drive thru gives me an attitude every time and the chilitos are about half the size of any other location. Very disappointing. Rip off for the amount of food you get. read more

After a week away in multiple states we decided to treat ourselves with some Cincinnati Skyline as our first meal back. We had never been to this location before, even though it's technically the closest to our house. It's seems either new or just newly renovated. It's a very nice clean location. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. We had our food exactly how we ordered it within minutes of placing our order. She made sure our drinks didn't get too low at any point and was always around if we need anything. Just very good overall. I ordered my go-to: a cheese coney and an order of cheese fries using their hot cheese. I like the cheese on the fries to be melted but I don't always remember to order it that way. This time I did remember to though. It seems like we've been coming to Skyline a lot more often then we ever had lately. Overall it's just good food and really not that pricey. It felt like a nice homecoming to have Skyline right when we got back from our trip. Felt like we were back home. read more

I went here and ordered a sghetti with cheese and a 3 way but they literally forgot the cheese? How do you forget the cheese when the order I ordered says in the name sghetti with cheese. And this isn't the first time they've messed up orders. I've ordered a meal and asked for fries. Didn't get that either. So I'm paying extra for y'all not to get my order right. And this isn't the last time either. I've ordered a sghetti with cheese once before but asked for extra cheese since I'm only getting spaghetti. Didn't get that either. So I'm literally paying extra for y'all to mess up my order. I don't know y'all might enjoy it but that's the last time I'm going there since all they do is mess my order up. read more

Maddi was our waitress today. She was phenomenal, and she took great care of me and my kid. He eats a lot and she got all of his food out just in time! Definitely come in when maddi is working! She was just so adorable. read more

Being new to Cincinnati I was told I had to try this. I got the 5-way. It's kind of strange. It wasn't bad, but I have no desire to try it again. Maybe you have to grow up eating this dish to love it. This location was clean with plenty of parking when I was there. The service was fast. If you like Cincinnati Chili, this would be an efficient place to come and get it. read more

Always great and consistent service at this Skyline's drive through. We work up the street and whenever we need to grab a quick lunch this is our go to! read more

Not a skyline regular so I can't say much about this location vs others. I'm sure you're familiar with the weird cinnamon meat water they call chili. To me it seems people wouldn't be so opinionated if they just called it anything else. BBQ, Chili... americans have weird ideas about their local foods. I'm shocked by how quick they are. As soon as you order, your food has arrived. Coneys covered in a mountain of cheese? Great. Let's not do this every day. Though if you don't like skyline, try it again in a few months. The weird cravings build. read more

Several good experiences, but a number of bad experiences. Yesterday, I ordered a Chili Deluxe Burrito. When I got home I discovered that there was barely any chili. Lots of lettuce and a flour tortilla. For the money, it was very disappointing. I threw it in the garbage. Will be a long time before I return. read more

I am a fan of Skylines in general, and the one in Fairfax is fast and efficient. An extra bowl of crackers and extra water on this hot, summer day is much appreciated. Thanks. read more

This is my hometown Skyline location, and it never fails to disappoint. Service is quick and reliable as you would expect at any Skyline, but there is also a positive attitude present in almost all of the workers. Perhaps the best Skyline in the area. read more

The location in Fairfax/Mariemont is my favorite. Always great service, hot food and done right. We go out of our way to go to this location. read more

The staff is very friendly and very quick. We often go here and the food is always served hot and the portions or each main ingredient are always perfect. The only complaint I have indoors is that the booths need to be cleaned sometimes though I don't blame them because it's so very busy always. We sometimes go through the drive through and request a plain hotdog for our dog to have. Our big pup sits there in the front seat and waits for it and they get a kick out of it. Overall I like this spot, it's my favorite Skyline out of the bunch. read more

I wish I could give them a negative rating but sadly I don't have that option. My meal was cold and they messed up my order. I didn't realize till I got home. Maybe next time they can make sure they have my right food, but there actually won't be a next time bc they suck. read more

If I could give one star trust me I would. Our server was curt and as soon as we finished ordering she immediately started talking like she was annoyed with us being there? Me and my sister are lactose intolerant so she ordered her food with light cheese and got it regular, neither of us would eat it and the server wouldn't take that nor listen to what we said when we told her we didn't want it. We took two bites off one of two chilitos. That's how bad it was. She wouldn't accept that we weren't going to eat it and tried to push us to just take it home and have someone else eat it, we didn't get a refund even after telling her how unhappy we were with our food. The service was crap and no one listens even the lady we checked out with to pay was curt and rude. We will not be coming back. read more

This Skyline is more like the originals with sitdown booths and tables with waitress service. The Skylines that are more fast-food style seem to have less tasty food. This particular Skyline takes me back to the 70's both in quality of the 3-way and the service from the waitress. read more

Five stars for Skyline, 3 stars for the Fairfax location. I live nearby and eat here a few times a month. Compared to most Skyline locations in town, the service here just isn't up to par. Requests for things like crackers or hot sauce are standard, so it drives me crazy how often I come home from the drive-thru and realize they didn't throw in the extras I requested (and am willing to pay for if necessary!). read more

Good service frequently. I get the burrito deluxe and they are the only skyline that has never messed it up! Keep up the good work! Thanks.

This location just has never had it. The food often tastes as if it has been sitting out all day. I keep going back in the hopes that one day they might have fixed whatever was wrong and I was hoping it would be fixed after the renovation and re-opening. They haven't. Something about this location just doesn't sync up with the other Skylines in the area such as Milford, Oakley and Kenwood. I honestly would rather drive 10 minutes out of the way to Oakley. I know people will say it's all the same but it really is not. As a whole, I enjoy Skyline very much but would recommend skipping this particular location. read more

This skyline has bad service but the food tastes just like any other location. A lot of teenagers work here and generally don't care about providing fast and friendly service - but they get the job done most of the time. read more

As with the Mariemont McDonalds, it seems that restaurants in this area are all lousy, even chain fast food. I sometimes (reluctantly) go to this Skyline for lunch if I'm in a hurry and 8 out of 10 times, my order gets screwed up and/or the food is plain lousy. I don't know if this is a corporate store or a franchise store but either Way, it has to be one of the worst in the city read more

Usually this unit does a a good job. Although if it is busy, I think it could be managed much better. Sometimes you wait 10 minutes before a waiter/waitress greets you. The food is always good though read more
