Updating my review. It's been 8 years since I've dined here. My Mr. and I came here when they first opened up. They were only serving burgers at the time. My friend was looking for some vegan options nearby and this popped up on her search. So, I was happy to hear that they expanded their menu. Now they have vegan options, wings, starters, kids menu and shakes. They also have beers on tap. I ordered the vegan coney Bennett on pretzel bun with fries. And my friend ordered the chicken wrappers delight with fries. We came during lunch rush so they were busy. My meal was great. It's been awhile since I've had a vegan hot dog. It was delicious, and so were the fries. I would say I would order it again. My friend definitely liked her meal as well. It was good then and still good now.

A really interesting place for the rock music lover. I had the Pearl Jam burger. It was big, juicy and really messy, but delicious. My daughter had the Rob Zomwich, which she said was very good. The place was clean and comfortable; however, there is a step out front that would make it inaccessible to some people. I do recommend the place to music lovers and others too!

Was in Northside and decided to try this place out. Never been but I will be back. You order at the counter and they were very helpful. Small location but loved the decor. I had the Slaytar and it was messy but very tasty. I loved the pretzel bun with this sandwich which helped it stay together. The fries were homemade and spiced well. I loved the fries. My wife had the Grateful Shred. She's not a person who likes spicy food and she was told it wasn't really spicy so she kept it on her sandwich. She was glad she did as the flavor went with the pulled pork. This was a messy sandwich as well. They have napkin dispensers at the tables which was used a lot. She also had the shake and she said she would get it again. Overall it was a good trip and we will be back and try other sandwiches.

This The Cranberries salad. I don't usually take food pics, but this was too beautiful

It's been awhile since I've been here, but it was a solid meal again. The staff were friendly, our food was out quickly and was delicious. I got the slayter with fries and loved both. I really liked the seasoning on the fries. Lots of vegetarian options as well. Great lunch or dinner spot!

An interesting neighborhood place. The names of the plates and drinks are music related. The Mac & Cheese with Goetta and local Potato Chips is memorable and a reason to return. The Milkshakes are thick and tasty. The staff is friendly and helpful.

What a fun place with great rock puns!! I was afraid it might be too loud to visit with its rock theme but the music was played at a good level--loud enough to enjoy but still easily talk to your friends without shouting. Burgers and shakes were great, I got a Pearl Jam with some Britney Spears to share at the table. Also a Flan Halen (and this was my only quibble--why is a strawberry shake called Flan Halen? This sounds like it should be a caramel shake). Everything was delicious and I enjoyed how hard they went with the theme. Servers were cool with good senses of humor and very helpful.

Really great place to stop at if you are spending time in Northside. Extensive menu with hilarious puns. Local ingredients are always amazing to see! Service was good - quick and to the point. Definitely an edgy and inclusive place. Need to come back at night and see the vibes with a bloody mary in hand. I got the Nom petty with fries and it was very good. My boyfriend got the meatallica (I think) regardless that one was fire! Milkshake was diner style and they had a few options to pick from. For a place called tickle pickle I would love to have my burger served with a sliced pickle.

This is such a cool place! You can't go wrong with a metal and rock themed restaurant with appropriately named menu items. The puns are great. It's so creative and they've got great rock memorabilia and art on the tables. This is one of my brother's favorite places and I can see why! I stopped in on a Sunday afternoon between going to the American Sign Museum and the Newport Aquarium. I got the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Sweet Cherry Pie milkshake. Both were amazing! The milkshake is a special for March 2024 but I hope they make it a permanent menu item. The food was incredible - I was with my boyfriend and brother and they both agreed Tickle Pickle was one of the best meals that they had recently. The price is really good for the quality, as well. I hope to stop in again whenever I am in Cincinnati!

Tickle Pickle was our last stop while in Cincinnati before we flew back to Chicago. We heard really good feedback .... and my gosh they shredded it! They some amazing options as well as some vegan options out in the crowd! I really liked the theme of various music themed menu. They even had some kick ass cocktails. I went with the Rob Zombwich.... and added the impossible burger and a side of fries. I had to make sure and not pass up the Oreo shake. Service was pretty fast ... enjoyed checking out the artwork while waiting. When the food came out i was impressed. The oreo shake was excellent. Then took my first bite in my Zombwich and really really like it... good heat on the spicy side burger was so good!!!! i liked the fries and good crunch and great flavor. The tickle pickle blew me away... damn good and a must visit!

The entire restaurant feels like the diner Sam worked at in Cinderella Story from the early 2000s - very vintage, very retro, very 50s! It's what I imagine restaurants looking like when my grandparents went on dates when they were my age. I had gotten the tofu nugs via DoorDash, which were better IRL and the milkshake was scrumptious too! My friend got the Milkman Burger, fries, and a fruity pebbles shake. It was all great but let me tell ya...we had this meal almost two weeks ago and I'm STILL dreaming of those French fries. I have had so many iterations of fried potato before...shoestring, steak, wedges, sweet potato, those made from yuca, curly, dipped in ice cream, etc. and these are the best fries I've had in my life. If I could live off the fries, I would. They were that good. I already have plans to share this place with other friends of mine as it has officially worked its way into the rotation for me!

They were serving parties of different sizes indoors and out on a patio area. I had an impossible burger and fries which were both really good. They had good iced tea, too. The highlight of the whole experience for me, though, was my server Lanay. She was delightful. She was engaging, welcoming, and personable throughout. She was patient and easygoing, but she also had a lot of feedback and advice on the menu options. She checked on me regularly throughout my leisurely meal without ever making me feel rushed. I thoroughly enjoyed our interactions throughout the evening. She was a really excellent server and I hope the restaurant knows it. When I'm in that area again, this will make my list of options.

I don't get to Cincy very often, but I was in town for work and this happened to be the closest bar/restaurant near us downtown that looked decent. Safe to say I got very lucky. The first time I went, I ordered the chili as a starter and a chicken tender platter. And when I tell you I was so happy with both -- I mean it. I love a good chili. I grew up eating it with my grandma, and this one tasted like something she would have made. The cheese and sour cream were perfect. I'm not a huge onion guy, but even those worked well with it. Now here's the catch... it was so good that I literally went back and ordered the exact same thing again. And somehow it was even better the second time. They really outdid themselves on both dishes. One thing I noticed the second time around: I asked for three sauces right away, and they brought them out on a plate with a built-in sauce area. It was actually really convenient -- perfect if you're sharing with people. Now let's talk about the tenders. I'll start by saying I know fried chicken pretty well. Pound for pound, these might honestly be the best chicken tenders in America. The easiest comparison I can give is this: imagine if Cane's and Zaxby's had a kid and named him perfection. That's what these are. Sometimes Cane's can be a little light on seasoning, and sometimes Zaxby's goes a little heavy. These are perfectly in the middle with a great crunch and just the right amount of seasoning. Another thing I really liked about this place is the versatility of it. It feels like the kind of spot where you could do anything -- happy hour with friends, a birthday dinner, a corporate dinner, or even a family night out. I love that kind of diversity in a restaurant. Just 10/10 ambiance. And the staff were incredibly nice and welcoming, which always makes a difference. Honestly, writing this review is making me want to book a flight back to Cincinnati just to eat there again. Wow.

The seating is family style with long tables. You can order via QR codes (meh) or walk up to the side of the bar for food and drink. The manager came around and introduced himself to everyone and was all over the place. Helping in the kitchen, bar, cleaning up etc.. He's definitely an asset because he didn't disappear as the rush started coming in. The inside is nicely decorated and I was digging their Voodoo/skull theme. We settled in and watched the 4pm NFL game on one of the large TV's while chatting with some disappointed Bengals fans and locals. Beer wise they had a nice selection of classic Voodoo brews (we used to get them a lot in the Philly area several years ago), a balance of styles and some newer brews I'd never heard of. If you enjoy the dark side of beer the Where Our Secrets Go Imperial Stout was delicious and thankfully more along the lines of the traditional style Impy Stout. I had an IPA that I can't remember the name of, but it had a nice Belgian yeast/hop twist to it. My son enjoyed their root beer. Food wise the Jumbo Chicken Wings, roasted in house hit the spot, I highly recommend them. I added their Good Vibes BBQ "Sawce", but you can get them dry rubbed or chose from several other "Sawces". The wings were big with fresh meat and the sauce was great. The Pub pretzel we ordered was huge and the good vibes beer cheese complimented it well. The Mr. Pickles Fried Pickles were also a great choice for an app. They were a big portion. My friend had the Chili Mac and my son ordered the Lil Mashburgers - 2 little smashburgers oozing with cheddar & chippies off the kids menu. We ate, had a couple of beers and enjoyed our dinner at Voodoo before we explored more of downtown Cincy. I'll be honest I wanted to avoid BrewDog and Voodoo and experience home grown Cincinnati breweries, but we were really happy we stopped at Voodoo. I am still dreaming about the pork belly skewers. We had a reservation for our party, so we were seated quickly. The inside of this old church is very sleek, modern, and clean. It is more upscale in feeling than other breweries in the area. We ordered the pork belly skewers, cheese curds, squash croquettes, and jalapeno poppers as appetizers for the table. The pork belly skewers are probably one of the greatest things I have ever eaten, as i said above. The squash croquettes are so different and so good as well. The cheese curds are standard and sure to please a crowd. And lastly, the jalapeno poppers were not for me. They stuff theirs with chicken, not cream cheese, and that flavor combo with the super smokey bacon wrapped around it did nothing for me. If you are more of a carnivore though you would probably love it. I got the chicken marinara sandwich and split a side of the brussels sprouts with a friend. The sandwich was huge! It looked much larger than some of the other plates people got. The marinara had great flavor, the cheese was fresh, and the chicken was perfectly cooked. I was so stuffed from my appetizers that I only ate half the sandwich. The sprouts were also very well done and the cheese/sauce on them was so so good. We ended the meal, even though we were all so full, with their citrus olive oil cake. Now some people find that name off-putting, but let me tell you as someone who loves baking, this cake is one of the best desserts I have ever had in my life. It is so light, with the perfect amount of citrus, and the fresh whipped cream is so delicious. It truly is a perfect dessert and I would go back only for that. Overall we had a great dinner here and left so stuffed that we all went home to lay down. The beer is also good but I would go for the food before anything else.
