This is one of the worst mcdonalds. They give you no sauce for your french fries unless you pay for a sauce. Some of the people there don't understand english. 11.20.2021 ~2pm Out of all the McDonalds my family and I have been to this one has been the worst out of all of them. I had ordered a cheeseburger with only ketchup for my kid and they gave me a cheeseburger with everything on it. My kid is pretty picky and I knew he wasn't going to eat it so I sent my daughter to see if they could make a new one. I'm not sure if there was a miscommunication but when she came back there was only ketchup and they didn't put the cheese. My daughter didn't want to go back again because she said that the worker looked annoyed and was being rude, so I ended up going up instead. The cashier was polite and went to get her manager, which I believe is the lady that was being rude to my daughter. Right off the bat she started being rude to me. I'm a pretty patient person and I understand how it is to work a customer service job but her customer service skills need some work. As well as her attitude. She kept saying that it was our fault on how we ordered it and we did something wrong. All I said was if she could just fix the issue but clearly she needed to make sure that I knew I was in the wrong. Flat out horrible person. I didn't get her name because she was not wearing her name tag but I believe she was one of the managers there and she had a little bit of an accent. It wasn't just me she was being rude to. I understand they have other stuff to do and other people to help but that is not how you treat a customer. Especially when I feel like I did nothing wrong. I am appalled that there doesn't seem to be a manager her. We were the only people in the play area at noon. It was odd. Then I realized the place only whole place only had a few people here! We waited a looong time for our food and so did the other few people here. Tgere was a lot of staff in the back ganging around seeming not to know what they should do. So I read the reviews and realized they us a big problem here! The owners used to be involved. Maybe they sold this one. I cant believe the would let this go downhill. I pulled over to the side of the road to leave this review: just to show how Pxssed off I am. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. You order one thing and they give you whatever they want. The long wait time is because they are trying to figure out how they screwed up orders from the beginning. What makes matters worse is that; I went back to inform them my order was completely wrong. This location is terrible. They have two lanes open for the drive through but will only be taking orders from one and the people at the other one (which is clearly marked as OPEN) will be made to wait and eventually pull forward because nobody comes through on the speaker. Additionally, all of the employees just stand around twiddling their thumbs instead of doing their jobs. Yesterday there were about 8 of them just standing around in the room where they take your money. I feel silly reviewing McDonald's, but I like to think I give credit when it's due no matter what type of dining establishment you are. This McDonald's is the worst in a 20 mile radius (yeah, I probably eat way too much McDonald's). It is excruciatingly slow, the employees are rude as can be, and if you get the correct order consider it a miracle. I didn't frequent this location for almost a year due to the issues mentioned previously, but decided to give it a go the other day after seeing the location had undergone a major remodel. With a whopping 6 cars in front of me in line at the drive through it took me 13 minutes to order and get my food. I would have driven off after 7, but was completely boxed in by that point. The employee who took my money briskly stated the total and basically threw my change at me. The person handing the food off literally opened the window, stuck his arm out, refused to look at me, and didn't say a word. Stupid me for not checking before driving off, but did they add napkins or a straw for my drink? Of course not. And all I ordered was a McDouble and a drink. Avoid this location at all costs. I'm upset that they continue to get business only because of their proximity to Cary Crossroads and all the surrounding retail shops. read more

Payed $15 for old and stale tasting food. Came back up to the store for a refund and Isiah was laughing as he looked through the bag. I didn't get a full refund because my little sister ate her burger (the only thing that wasn't old) and because he didn't look through the whole bag to see that my fries were in the container with the nuggets. It has a great play area. I actually brought my son here today for his 2nd Birthday since he loves that area so well. There was a Managers meeting going on during our visit, and one of the employee's children were dropping trash and dirty socks onto my table from the upper play structure. The seating was totally filled, so I could not relocate to avoid the rain of grossness. I asked the children to stop repeatedly and was shocked when the employee/parent still had not come to verbally check in on his/her children (it was probably just a glance through the window that I missed). Absolutely awful. Despite the excruciatingly long wait times and the messed up orders, I decided to eat lunch here. I purchased a McDouble meal, which obviously comes with a drink. Drinks are kept behind the counter, and an employee hands you a cup after a checking the receipt. Once receiving my food, I threw my receipt away and began eating. The manager (heavyset lady, black greasy hair with a headset) comes to the table and insists that my friend and I did not pay for our drinks. I told her that we did, but we threw our receipts away after getting our food. She came back AGAIN to ask, even though we informed her earlier that we threw away our receipts. My friend and I simply got up and walked out. We resumed eating in our car in the parking lot, where the manager WATCHED us from the window... wtf? After staring at us for two minutes, we decided to just leave. She CHASED our car, and said she would call the police if we ever came back. Over drinks that we PAID for. The amount of disorganization that exists at this location is astounding. I placed a very simple order. McPick 2 for 3 Double Cheeseburger no mustard and six piece McNuggets eat in. The person who took my order seemed to be quite confused and at first tried to charge me for two McPick 2 for 3 deals which was not at all what I communicated. Finally she got the price right (but never the actual order). She vocally told the kitchen my order. One more note about my cashier: her tattoos are visually disturbing. Try to avoid looking at her arms. It took them a couple of tries to get my order correct (the no mustard part threw them off). The manager never apologized for my experience (even though it was clear how annoyed I was). All in all, it was a terrible experience for such a small order. I worry for people with much more complex orders. Avoid this location. Go up to the location at Exit 290 (I-40 and Chapel Hill Rd). It is much better. read more

Every time I have been to this location it has been a longer than acceptable wait. The food is what you expect but its not worth the wait. I sat at the drive-up speaker ( I normally go in) and heard nothing for 4 solid minutes. Finally a truck drove up to the second speaker and sat there for a while as well. So I said 'Hello?!" into the speaker to which I was asked to 'hang on a second, I am busy'. Finally he came back took my order and I pulled around. Sitting there for 4 or 5 minutes with no progress made on the 3 cars in front of me, mainly the white truck at the head of the line, I backed up and out of the drive through, which was possible because the truck in the second drive-up was still waiting for someone speak to him. He finally gave up and drove around the restaurant to opt to go in. I went in and said to the Manager that he should leave the lights off if he wasn't ready to serve food and as I was walking out I heard him exclaim to his employees ' o no he dinit '. Awesome experience. Awesome. I went to Starbucks and got a Smoked Ham and Gouda Egg Sandwich and coffee in about 3 minutes. Thanks Olga! read more
