Sadly there is no such thing as Customer Service anymore. These kids also don't know how to speak. They also don't know the menu. I repeatedly asked if they still have All day breakfast. Came here on Saturday since I was on this side of town and the kids were hungry. Waited in line to get help about 6 mins the workers behind the counter kept walking back and forth and was looking at me but wasn't helping me not taking my order. So finally I decided to use the self pay screen. No one said anything about the soda machine being down nor were there was any sign. The seating area was a bit dirty and had to flagged one of the worker down to clean it. Received my food but did not get my drinks had to asked twice. This isn't even a "they're paid minimum wage" excuse, because it doesn't take a decent human being to know how to be kind and at least TALK to the customer. Came on Sunday, late afternoon. Rude and unprofessional. Ordering was weird because the girl on the other end couldn't hear me, which isn't her fault, but she was very impolite and impatient about it. As I pulled up to the window not a word was said except "you have a customer" from one employee to another and then an awkward few seconds of eye contact through an open window between me and the employee. Horrible right off the back. Sat in the drive through waiting to order while 3 other customers already went through the other lane. Employee at the window was all but enthused. But besides that it got even worse. I ordered the Egg Sausage McMuffin meal. The McMuffin had more egg shell than it had an actual damn egg in it. (Done after one bite). I went to the drive-through at this location for the first time for lunch on a Saturday. Line wasn't too long. I'm used to being able to browse menu items on a large board before placing my order, but a lady was standing outside and took my order on a tablet. Fortunately because it's McDonald's, I already kinda knew what I wanted to order. I ordered kids meal with 6-piece chicken nuggets, 10 piece chicken nuggets meal, and a fish filet sandwich. I get in the drive thru line and the girl standing outside tells me to order at the speaker which whatever I know sometimes they do that. However when I get to the speaker no one acknowledges me. What a joke! I did a mobile app order and I wanted to try their quarter pounder that's supposed to be cooked to order. Well this burger wasn't. It was not juicy or even warm for that matter. I'm at the McDonald's on Rose in Oxnard. The service has gotten so bad here. I've been at the drive thru for over 25 minutes! I asked for a freshly made sausage/egg Mcmuffin. It's after 2pm so I know that aren't making them a lot at this hour. I asked the girl taking my order and she said she didn't know how to request that on her tablet. She assured me it would be fresh because of the time it was. When I got to the window to pick up the Mcmuffin it was hard as a rock! I told them that I asked it to be made fresh & they just looked at me like they didn't understand. I showed them that the muffin hard hard. They, with disguste ask the manager what to do, for which she said to have me park & they would make it fresh. I waited another 10-15 minutes & the Manager brought me a sack & walked away. Well, would you believe they gave me back an old hard Mcmuffin. I don't think they even did anything but give me back the same one they gave me in the first place! No one ever apologizes for anything. For how long we wait, how they take, how they get orders wrong or any customer service. I feel as if they really don't care about their jobs. I know they are short handed and I understand that, but they are rude. It's like the are Pandemicly lazy. I'm very frustrated and feel they don't care. Maybe drive-thru service at this Camarillo McDonald's is less frustrating than walk-up. If you sit at a table, you're sure to hear multiple timer alarms beeping their heads off as cooked food languishes, cooling off while-u-wait. It most certainly happens when you order French fries, because requesting them brand-new, right out of the fryer will get you the fries that have been sitting in two wire baskets, draining above the oil for nigh onto five minutes. By the time they're emptied, scooped and served, they've degraded to warmish and slightly limp. This is my first-ever review of a McDonald's, and the timing of this recent stop couldn't be worse for the chain that may deserve a break today. The two branches in L.A. that I visit the most are capable and consistent, as are others along various far-flung highways and byways. McDonald's is the only fast-food purveyor whose fries I buy. However, my sole favorite item is the Filet-o-Fish on Fridays when it's on special. Another filet added for a dollar seals the deal. The coffee in 2006 transformed from dishwater to quality java, and the breakfast choices are straight-up decent when you're on the go. Aside from the casual pace of kitchen staff on a Sunday lunchtime, this location is clean and pleasant to visit. The counter staff is cordial, but its reputation is entirely dependent on support from those at the back of the shop. So I'm in the ladies room just finishing up when Jose(male) crew member open the door to the LADIES! rm with his foot he held it there for about 30seconds did not knock did not announce himself for the first 30seconds. Then Jose (male)crew member proceeded to place 2 wet floor signs to prop open the door to the ladies room. This morning my string was stuck inside my pants of my nursing scrubs so my pants had been falling down as I was drying my hands i could feel my pants falling down for all of the public to see because the door to the ladies room was open. I don't really understand all the complaints about slow service. I have always gone through this drive-through so quickly, I barely have time to put my wallet away before already getting my food. My biggest complaint, though, is that they have a person standing in the drive-through line taking your order. When it gets busy, and there are a bunch of cars in line, this employee walks down the line of cars taking orders. I end up just barely off the street and in the parking lot with an employee standing in my window asking what I want. The menu is 100 feet away, so why are they asking me to order when you can't even see what they have. I know it's McDonald's, and their menu hasn't really changed in decades, but sometimes they have specials that you only see after you've ordered and drive past the menu board. Ordered Deluxe Breakfast yesterday and the day before. Each time they left out the English Muffin. It's truly a miracle when my order is completely correct. Something is not quite right with this restaurant. It seems every weekend I get waited on by a new trainee. Sometimes I give them training too. For instance...When ordering the Deluxe breakfast, I asked for the bacon well done. The order taker said, "You want bacon also?" I said, "No, the bacon comes with the breakfast. I just want it well done." This morning, at the Santa Rosa Rd location, I ordered coffee with 5 creams added. They somehow decided I needed sugar too!. I believe most of the employees working at McDonald want to do a good job. The turnover rate appears high which makes for order mistakes. read more

This McDonald's really just hires anyone they can get at this point .... Went through the drive thru and ordered at the speaker. When I paid at the first window I added something else. I then went to the last window to get my food and asked the kid working if the food I had added was in there. He then said what was it, I told him and he said he didn't see that there. I told him I had just ordered it at the window and he gave me the receipt that showed my first order only. I then told him I'm not lying and he said well it's not here. I then told him to get the girl at the first window to verify(since she didn't give me a receipt) and he just stood there and looked at me and I asked again and he tried to hand me the receipt again and told me "well that's not here I gave you your food already" wow customer service at its finest. This this is absolutely the worst McDonald's in Camarillo and fact in Ventura County. If you go during the day time they don't attend to the beeping french fryer, so be prepared to be annoyed as it beeps incessantly. It is like the staff is deaf to the fryers high decibel beeping. How is this even possible? If you go through the drive-thru at night, it takes extended amount of time to get any service. Plan on 20 plus minutes with only one car on front of you. Frankly the little red headed night attendant is rude and has a superiority complex which is ridiculous. I like McDonald's, but not this one. Though it is the closest to my house, I go out of my way to go to Arneil, Rose or Vineyard. Save yourself some aggravation and skip this McDonalds. They do not deserve my business or yours. This McDonald's makes great food but every time I get my order it's incorrect. I order some bacon in my burger and they Give me like 1 or 2 small pieces in there because they rush, and when I ask for shredded lettuce on it too it's mostly on paper it comes in then it spills all over the floor. Whenever I get my medium fries it's not even filled to the top, it has the tiniest bit more than the small fries. That's why I give this McDonald's a two star rating! read more

Outstanding store! I was here twice this morning, once in the dining room and once thru the drive and both times was the best McDonalds experience I've had in decades. First, dining room was immaculate and the restroom was the cleanest I've seen in any level of restaurant in ages. All the employees made eye contact, extended friendly greetings and provided excellent service. Both experiences could have been used as a TV commercial. I've been a customer of McDonalds since the very early 70's so have a lot of experience in their stores. This one's got it goin on. read more
