This was one of the best McDonalds I've ever been to. I went here on Christmas, where I expected to have not much service as usual restaurants do, but THERE WAS SERVICE and it was splendid. They personally served us food and even gave us free hot water. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The music was great and lively and kept the atmosphere up.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They helped take our dirty trays too. I was hungry and figured I would stop at good ole McDonald's on Daily Drive in Camarillo. I went through the drive through and ordered the #7, two cheeseburgers and fries. I was handed the bag by a nice young they/them. I jumped back on the freeway to head home. I reached into the bag to discover the fries were cold, but worse yet there was only one cheeseburger. If i could give this place zero stars i would, If you're in a hurry or coming in on your lunch break, I'd strongly suggest choosing another location. The service here is consistently slow even if you place your order ahead of time through the app, you'll likely still end up waiting 20+ minutes for your food. It honestly defeats the purpose of ordering ahead. This has happened more than once, so it's not just a one-off bad day. Staff seems overwhelmed or disorganized, and there's no urgency at all. Not what you expect from a fast food spot. Hopefully management steps in and gets things back on track, but until then, I wouldn't recommend stopping here if you're on a schedule. I always hate leaving bad reviews but I definitely had too. I bought my wife and daughter food. My daughter's chicken nuggets were good and so were the fries. However my wife's Big Mac was horrible the meat taste was disgusting. This is the first time it's happened to us here in Camarillo. The Oxnard McDonalds have been good so far. I really hope the owners of this McDonalds start checking the quality of their food because I payed $10 dollars for that burger to go to the trash and for my wife to throw up. Absolutely unacceptable experience! I placed an online order, but when I arrived, the store is closing besides it says 24hr. Not only did I not receive my food, but the staff refused a refund, blaming 'McDonald's corporate' for the mobile order issue and telling me it wasn't their fault. Despite them still taking orders, I was kicked out without my meal or money. The app doesn't allow cancellations, and they said there's no phone number for refunds. The shift in approach to eliminate human counter service is terrible. It forces people into the drive-thru line and that line is longer than ever. If I want to wait in a drive-thru line for 15-20 minutes, I'll go to In n Out. Inside the kiosks are often broken, which you typically don't discover until you've gone through the effort to place your order. Kiosks also don't provide the opportunity for many modifications or substitutions. This change will push me to go more often to Jack in the Box. Bring back human interaction. read more

AWFUL. They charge you extra for sauces and don't put them in the bag then get nasty when you ask for them and you have to POINT OUT THE FACT you paid an extra 0.58 for them. One order of chicken cNUGGETS missing from my bag and the mean nasty girl working the window with her horrible attitude also did not give me my drink. Fortunately I looked in the bag before I drove off and let them know sauces and McNUGGETS were missing that I paid for. Nasty cashier told me I needed to "count them that the were in the bag". Well let me tell you I counted 2 and I paid for 4 - McDonald's got their whole order back and I demanded a refund on all of my food. The attitude at the McDonalds is off the charts. Mistake was clearly on their end and I paid $20.00 for their garbage food and then they don't even put it in the bag then they get mean and nasty when you ask where it it and point out what is missing. You are met with a nasty window worker demanding that you "count" the sauces for her. They also do not want to hand you a receipt. Fortunately I took my receipt. DO NOT GO TO MCONALDS - MAKE SURE YOU GET A RECEIPT. Pack of scammers at McDonalds on Arneill in Camarillo. I never leave reviews for fast food spots but the breakfast was so on point at this Mickey D'Souza that I just had to. The hash browns were CRISPY not oily. CRISPY! Just the way they should be. The sausage egg and cheese McMuffins were FRESH. The muffin was soft, the egg was perfectly cooked and the sausage patty was nice and warm. The staff was very nice and friendly too.
