Made a quick stop here while charging my car at the nearby Electrify America station. It wasn't super busy when we came, so order was fairly quick and easy. I got to salad bowl with chicken, pico, sour cream, and half and half rice. I think they use to give salad dressing, but it looks like they don't do that anymore, or maybe they forgot. My bowl was a little under $11, and was pretty filling. I split it with another person, so we had it as a snack to hold us over until we got back home from our road trip. This location is struggling! I had stopped here on my way to The dodger clubhouse before the closed at 8pm on a weekday. Chipotles hours listed they don't close til 10, great. I come back and they're slammed and it's started to rain so I go back to my car and place my order. The app tells me 810 my order will be ready - 2 kids meals and 2 burrito bowls. Was excited that the carne asada was back on the menu. I did not get back to my car until 830 with my completed order! I was there so long that I was able to stand in line again and try to place my order with the person at the walk up side but was told since I place my order on the app, I needed to wait for the to get to my order. Other people were sitting around waiting for their to go orders as well. When the guy was prepping my order, he approached me and asked if brown rice was ok to sub because after 8pm they don't make more rice. I said sure, fine I just want to leave. When he did finish my food, I asked him where his manager was and he said in the back. During the busiest time the manager is in the back hmm and I told him you guys are really backed up huh and he said yes someone called out and we didn't have enough coverage during our shift change. So that tells me the manager should be helping pick up the slack right? I've read the other reviews and I'm not impressed with this location. When I got home and opened up the good, I found that one of my bowls was a lot heavier than the other. They both had rice and beans and toppings but the only difference was one had lettuce. That doesn't make it that much heavier. I paid $16 each one and they weren't even properly made! Overall it was clean and tidy except for the counter where the food prep was taking place. But the employees shouldn't have to be scrambling and should be better prepared for these kind of rushes. This comes from better management planning. if upper management reading this, you fire this management and employees. I got a bowl that was a quarter full with steak that was completely cold and you couldn't even bite into it. This was my first experience at a Chipotle. Very disappointed! There wasn't any fresh chicken. Most pieces were very small and the portion was very small. They should have made a new batch. The sautéed vegetable bin was practically empty which meant I received the dregs. The beans were too wet and made the container soggy. I asked for guacamole and was disappointed with the lack of taste. NO CILANTRO was available! All in all a terrible experience. Will never go back to another Chipotle! The insult added to this disappointing experience was that I was charged $17.00 for this meal. How dare you call this Mexican food!! read more

Skip this location and find a different one - this location is perpetually filthy. There can be 10 employees and they still refuse to clean literally anything. There is never a clean table, there is constantly food and spilled drinks/ice on the ground, and the trash cans overflow with trash. read more

Went to the new Camarillo Chipotle on Arneill Road. Nice clean restaurant. My bowl was substantially smaller than the bowl at the outlet location. It did not resemble any of the bowls in the photographs. They were out of ingredients - grilled peppers for example. I don't know when the opened, I went on Friday and the staff seemed to be in a training mode. Perhaps I'm spoiled by the outlet location. read more

Good Chipotle in the Camarillo Outlet Mall. It's just across from the Columbia store. In store seating area can be a little small but they also have some outdoor seating. Staff is pretty good but they are kind of stingy with portions (as many Chipotle places are). It's a good place for lunch or dinner if you're shopping or just in the area. read more

Been coming here for years, and never really had any complaints honestly! Portions were good, the staff were cool, and relatively clean! But the past 3-4 times I've been going has gotten increasingly worse. The cleanliness isnt really an issue, they still keep it as clean as it was, but the portions have gotten abysmal, to the point where today I'm writing a review! OK, after several negative experiences at this store, I finally have a positive one, tonight. I was served by the tall African-American guy with glasses, I cannot recommend this guy enough. He was the best, very timely service, very polite, and very good on portions he gave me portions like we haven't seen for the last 10 years he wrapped up one of those burritos that like we used to get you know where you can barely close them and they barely fit in the foil. I had the worse experience from the Manager Jaime. She was very disrespectful, unprofessional, combative, and extremely rude over the pronunciation of their tomatillo sauce. I asked for their tomatillo sauce meaning the green sauce, every time I've asked before every employee knew what I was asking for. She decided to give me an educational lecture (her words) since both the red and the green sauces are both tomatillo and it wasn't in a family manner either. She was very condescending and kept calling me hun. I asked her multiple times not to call me hun but she continued to call me hun multiple times. I felt very disrespected and humiliated after she continued to talk about me to other customers while I was getting charged. She used her position as a manager to threaten me and mentioned if she doesn't want to help me she doesn't have to and will throw my food out. I'll be the first to admit I'm not a super huge fan of chipotle. However while shopping at the outlets I got hungry and decided to try their pollo asado on a bowl. I normally just get a salad because I'm not a fan of the meats. The pollo asada was delicious and would buy it again. They have plenty of outside parking as well as seating. This location is awful for 2 reasons, in my opinion. First, the staff are inconsistent with their measurements. The female servers are stingy with giving meat and I'm a girl. Second, they often run out of steak, even if there's still 1 hour left before closing time. I mean, it's obvious that steak is the most popular meat. So why not have that more available? The management at this place is horrible. Chatted with the cashier and she said it's because they're under new management and made another manager quit recently. I went on 7/10/23 and everyone working was really nice! I was ready to fight too considering all these terrible reviews but it was nice! Had a good sized burrito and just enjoyed it over all. Couldnt even taste the one table spoon and i had to throw half of the burrito away after picking at the only edible parts. I should gone to sharkys instead. And the service wasn't that great either. The cashier had an attitude at check out with the customers in front of us and with me. I ordered 2 drinks and she thought I said something else. Then she had the audacity to argue with me and tell me I didn't order any drinks. We literally went back and forth 3 or 4 times before she finally gave me my cups.. it was ridiculous!! She didn't asked us "for here" or "to go" and packed our food in to go orders so we had to ask for a tray because we were sitting down to enjoy our food there. They were literally trying to get people to leave by running low on food and flipping the trash cans over so people wouldn't sit down to eat. read more
