I had never felt so uncomfortable entering a restaurant. I went to this Chipotle with my son and, from the moment we crossed the door, an employee named Victoria started laughing while talking to another colleague. His attitude was so obvious that it made me feel humiliated and completely uncomfortable. It is unacceptable for someone who works in customer service to make customers feel judged or ridiculed. No matter who enters through that door, everyone deserves to be treated with respect and professionalism. Victoria's attitude completely ruined our visit. I never expected to receive such treatment in front of my son. I sincerely hope that management will take action on the matter, because no one should leave a restaurant feeling this way. I wish I had read these reviews before I ordered food from this Camarillo Outlet location. I hadn't been to a Chipotle in about 3 years. I used to enjoy the food at the one in Valencia when I used to live there. So I decided to order a bowl from this Chipotle via Uber Eats for pickup, because I had a credit on there. Bottom line, I had a bunch of rice and bean and barely any chicken! They covered it up with globs of sour cream so you won't notice that you got stiffed for the meat. I'm supposed to be on a high protein diet and this was a bowl of carbs. It was not like this 3 yrs ago at the Valencia location. I see that lots of other people have complained about this same thing. This location is struggling! I had stopped here on my way to The dodger clubhouse before the closed at 8pm on a weekday. Chipotles hours listed they don't close til 10, great. I come back and they're slammed and it's started to rain so I go back to my car and place my order. The app tells me 810 my order will be ready - 2 kids meals and 2 burrito bowls. Was excited that the carne asada was back on the menu. I did not get back to my car until 830 with my completed order! I was there so long that I was able to stand in line again and try to place my order with the person at the walk up side but was told since I place my order on the app, I needed to wait for the to get to my order. Other people were sitting around waiting for their to go orders as well. When the guy was prepping my order, he approached me and asked if brown rice was ok to sub because after 8pm they don't make more rice. I said sure, fine I just want to leave. When he did finish my food, I asked him where his manager was and he said in the back. During the busiest time the manager is in the back hmm and I told him you guys are really backed up huh and he said yes someone called out and we didn't have enough coverage during our shift change. So that tells me the manager should be helping pick up the slack right? I've read the other reviews and I'm not impressed with this location. When I got home and opened up the good, I found that one of my bowls was a lot heavier than the other. They both had rice and beans and toppings but the only difference was one had lettuce. That doesn't make it that much heavier. I paid $16 each one and they weren't even properly made! Overall it was clean and tidy except for the counter where the food prep was taking place. But the employees shouldn't have to be scrambling and should be better prepared for these kind of rushes. This comes from better management planning. Made a quick stop here while charging my car at the nearby Electrify America station. It wasn't super busy when we came, so order was fairly quick and easy. I got to salad bowl with chicken, pico, sour cream, and half and half rice. I think they use to give salad dressing, but it looks like they don't do that anymore, or maybe they forgot. My bowl was a little under $11, and was pretty filling. I split it with another person, so we had it as a snack to hold us over until we got back home from our road trip. There's plenty of seating at this location, and they have multiple restrooms. They're located in the Camarillo Outlets plaza by the Chick Fil-A. read more

Went to the new Camarillo Chipotle on Arneill Road. Nice clean restaurant. My bowl was substantially smaller than the bowl at the outlet location. It did not resemble any of the bowls in the photographs. They were out of ingredients - grilled peppers for example. I don't know when the opened, I went on Friday and the staff seemed to be in a training mode. Perhaps I'm spoiled by the outlet location. read more

As an owner of a star I would wanna know how my Start is doing if I had over 200 reviews and averaged a 2.2 stars like this location does I would do something about it, I would read the comments I would make improvements. I would not want to average a 2.2 rating, I went here again tonight. I've been here before in the past and not had very good luck and I decided to try it again so I came in ordered my normal bowl and once again the portion size of the protein was extremely small. I asked for a little bit more. They would not even give me one piece more. They said if I give you more, it's gonna be double I don't want double I just want the normal size of protein that they're supposed to give. They used to give a whole lot more than they give now I maybe got like 15 pieces of chicken. This was my first experience at a Chipotle. Very disappointed! There wasn't any fresh chicken. Most pieces were very small and the portion was very small. They should have made a new batch. The sautéed vegetable bin was practically empty which meant I received the dregs. The beans were too wet and made the container soggy. I asked for guacamole and was disappointed with the lack of taste. NO CILANTRO was available! All in all a terrible experience. Will never go back to another Chipotle! Good Chipotle in the Camarillo Outlet Mall. It's just across from the Columbia store. In store seating area can be a little small but they also have some outdoor seating. Staff is pretty good but they are kind of stingy with portions (as many Chipotle places are). It's a good place for lunch or dinner if you're shopping or just in the area. read more

I normally just get a salad because I'm not a fan of the meats. The pollo asada was delicious and would buy it again. They have plenty of outside parking as well as seating. But the past 3-4 times I've been going has gotten increasingly worse. I had to ask The person making my bowl today for 3 extra scoops of RICE! Just to make it a similar serving to what it was in the past. It seems the new hires here are incredibly stingy with the food! I had the worse experience from the Manager Jaime. She was very disrespectful, unprofessional, combative, and extremely rude over the pronunciation of their tomatillo sauce. I asked for their tomatillo sauce meaning the green sauce, every time I've asked before every employee knew what I was asking for. She decided to give me an educational lecture (her words) since both the red and the green sauces are both tomatillo and it wasn't in a family manner either. She was very condescending and kept calling me hun. I asked her multiple times not to call me hun but she continued to call me hun multiple times. I felt very disrespected and humiliated after she continued to talk about me to other customers while I was getting charged. She used her position as a manager to threaten me and mentioned if she doesn't want to help me she doesn't have to and will throw my food out. This location is awful for 2 reasons, in my opinion. First, the staff are inconsistent with their measurements. The female servers are stingy with giving meat and I'm a girl. Second, they often run out of steak, even if there's still 1 hour left before closing time. I mean, it's obvious that steak is the most popular meat. So why not have that more available? The management at this place is horrible. Chatted with the cashier and she said it's because they're under new management and made another manager quit recently.
