Not sure how a staff member can make a sandwich and not see this. Tried calling the store 5x over a few hours. No answer. Terrible. Garrett sucks. Me and the bf were at this location a few weeks ago. Never had an issue previously when I worked next door and ate there almost everyday. One of the workers messed up both our orders. She didn't seem to be paying attention when I repeated back twice what I wanted. Anyway, we didn't notice the problem until we got back to Oxnard. When I called, Garrett the manager answered and said he'd call back when the rush died down. Fine. NP. An hour passed, i called again, an employee said he was on break and she'd leave a message for him. Never got a call a couple hours later. A nice girl answered the 3rd time and said Garrett had just left home. She ended up rectifying the issue and refunded one of the sandwiches. If you can't handle the responsibility of being a manager, literally just demote yourself, clearly some of his team are more qualified than him. read more

On my most recent visit, I was picking up an online order. All details were listed for my two sandwiches. Sandwich number one had oil and vinegar, I asked for none of that. I asked for Mayo and honey mustard on both sides. The second sandwich I asked for an extra side of oil and vinegar, the sandwich was dry and there was no side of anything in the bag. I took the sandwiches back and had them re-made. The first sandwich was dry, no Mayo and no mustard as requested. They also did not put any tomatoes on the sandwich. The second sandwich had all of my Mayo and my mustard ( which is gross on and Italian sub). They also did not put the side of oil and vinegar a second time. read more

I was at jersey mikes on 8/30 and there was a rude and disrespectful lady yelling at an employee (Haven) over Diet Pepsi. The lady escalated the situation when the employee was only kind and respectful until the lady wasn't to her. I believe kindness is earned and should be returned, however this lady did not earn respect. I stand by the employee and she did a great job handling the situation. I am a regular at this store and see Haven and how respectful and professional she always is. Theses kids were under staffed and incredibly busy but still managed to keep a professional profile. Went to Jersey Mike's on Santa Rosa Rd., Camarillo yesterday. We have a Jersey Mike's a few minutes from our home but choose to drive 15 minutes away to the Jersey Mikes on Santa Rosa Rd because of the good service and better sandwiches. They also answer the phone which does not happen at the Jersey Mikes on Lantana in Camarillo. I wanted to give a shout out to Brooke today because she went above and beyond to help us today. I picked up a sub for a lady and her caretaker we are helping and forgot to get a receipt. I called back later and she found our order and pulled the receipt for me. Don't expect to get your food on time when using the order ahead app. Happened to me 3 times now including yesterday. Placed order 1.5 hours in advanced, sandwiches were not ready. Horrible location!! If someone had only eaten at this Jersey Mike's, they'd never go back. The prices are so high at every location, but to have rude service and tasteless food? I'm never going to this location again. I had to wait 23 minutes for my hot sub at 7pm. It wasn't like it was crowded. I was rudely told by who I presume was the manager that they can only cook one sub at a time. Seriously? One at a time on that large griddle surface? Great thing about Jersey Mikes is they freshly cut the meat right there. Subway or Jimmy Johns is on a completely different level..... A much, much lower standards one. I hate to say this, but this store just doesn't have it together. The employees look so confused on what they are doing & move so slow. Don't come during lunch hour, unless your lunch is two hours long. I understand lunch rush may take a bit longer to get your food, but this location is ridiculous. I watched 3 people stand in line for 15 minutes, realize the line wasn't moving, & walk out to take their hunger elsewhere. They do not value their customers, they don't even smile with a hello or thank you. I'm rating 3 stars because I love the sandwiches. But lately I have noticed the tomatoes look old & soggy. Well, when I sat down to eat, my bread was soggy too. On a different visit, I ordered my food to go. Once I got home my bread was hard as a rock. I thought, 'it happens.' I drove right back to the store & the girl did not say a thing. No sorry, can I get you a new sandwich? Nothing. She pulled out cash to give me & that was it. Best experience so far with any Jersey Mikes location, a huge shoutout to Dylan and Elijah - the two young men working hard to provide excellent customer service to the last second of business hours! They deserve a raise for incredible customer service and professionalism. Long story but here it is, my journey started when I tried calling another location to order not too far from theirs and the phone was off the hook, so I drove all the way over to 370 N Lantana to order in person assuming it was busy but found two smug faced teen girls half an hour to close, standing around who had taken the phone off the hook, an hour prior to closing. They had zero desire to make me anything and said it was common practice to take the phone off the hook at the store at 8 before closing at 9 these girls were less than professional and I was pissed I wasted time and gas when they could have just answered to deny my order even open. I called the closest location at 8:43 after my horrid experience with those morons to find the most friendly amazing staff at this nearby Jersey mikes! Dylan and Elijah who answer the phone have the open sign on and smiles until the last minutes of closing I cannot say enough about this turn around in events- bosses should give those boys a raise and fire those idiot girls ruining the chain at the other location. Greetings and request: I just finished my half of the giant cheese steak sub sandwich at a California location noted above. I informed my wife that next time we will have buy two, as I want the entire cheese steak to myself! Me toooooooooo she replied with full mouth. I should note that we are no strangers steak and cheese subs. In fact, we always order the sub our way......... i "A giant stealk and cheese............East Coast Style" What hell is "East Coast Style" Steak, cheese, peppers and extra mayonnaise! ( Mayonnaise does not come with standard sub ) and no onions! Almost perfect. Add a crusty sub roll if available at your Jersey Mike's Subs location and you now have entered sandwich heaven! Been going to this Jersey Mike's for years and enjoyed it but in the past couple yrs it has gone down hill. Today was the finale -- poor service, VERY RUDE server and stale bread. I went in and stood for 5 min and noone else was there . Was making up sandwiches for call in I guess. The rudeness was the worst. The last time I went to get a online order that I ordered the previous day for my work function was not ready on time it seems like to have a bunch of new staff that doesn't know what the heck they're doing. Looks like they need to focus on training. I did an online order for my family tonight and they ran out of white bread how does any sandwich shop run out of white bread. My online order wasn't even ready! They didn't give me a phone call stating that they were out of white bread. I work in the service industry so I understand how hard it is to hire people. I'm OK to pay the additional price on food and for the wages as well as you need to train your associates. I gave you two stars because the sandwiches are really good. I guess people dont understand how busy rush hour can get. If you dont like how long you have to wait, then dont go! The bad reviews are ridiculous complaints. The staff is friendly and wonderful to be around. The only reason it takes along time is because there is 4 of them up front and a whole line of people in the lobby! I appreciated the kind upbeat attitude he showed when speaking to each customer, including myself.
