When it comes to Jack-in-the-Box in Camarillo, it is cursed situation. Both locations have terrible service and mediocre cooks. Whereas Newbury Park and Oxnard (Near Groc Out) have good cooks and worth-eating menu. In Camarillo, you can be sure key ingredients will be left out or they will get the order wrong. For the 93012 customers, the service is what stinks the most. I had some skinny, kid give me grief for not saying please or thank you after she went diva after I asked for ketchup in a soft but audible and questioning tone. She also forgot to give me my soda which was less of of an issue as their soda machine was once again broke, and I had to get a Sprite. Neighbors don't let neighbors drink Sprite unless alcohol is being added. My hope was that HQ would have shut these two 'restaurants' down so a better chain could move in- say Chick-fil-A or a Wendy's. Still hoping! read more

Just moved near this location, and have been going after work a few times later in the night. Every time it's the man who is super rude and always gets the orders wrong. Light skinned skinny guy with an accent. Always ask for sauces and never gives the right ones and when you wait for him to come back to the window so you can get them, he ignores you purposely. If I could give O stars, I would. Decided I wanted to try Jack in the box for breakfast this morning. I don't go too often and as have never had their breakfast, so I was thoroughly looking over the menu trying to decide what everyone would like (I was buying for 2 adults and 4 kids). I took no longer than 2 minutes, and in that 2 minutes I was asked 3 times if I was ready. I told her not quite and on the last ask, she rudely told me I was taking too long. I told her there was no one behind me and she said "Ok" with so much attitude. I then decided to just drive thru and eat elsewhere! As I was driving past the window, a younger girl apologized and let me know it wasn't her that was being rude on the mic. So I placed an order on the Jack App for two Jumbo Jacks. The App doesn't allow you to make additions like mustard! It also doesn't allow extra onion or tomato. Corporate needs to work on that. When I asked the front counter manager to add mustard, she was very short, matter of fact and told me that she would do it this one time but that I needed to order properly or add mustard myself! Super rude!! I tried to explain that many locations don't have packets of mustard and she legit said "I don't care about other locations "! After all that, the kitchen still didn't put the freaking mustard on either burger. When I went to the counter to say something, she insisted that it was done. This manager should not be working in a service business as the up front person. This jack in the box has some great employees but there is one lady i believe she is the manager. She has a dress kind of shirt on and everytime i go to get some food for lunch she always looks angry and whenever i ask for specific things like condiments she makes and ugly mad/annoyed face which to me is a terrible way to greet your guests and whenever i ask for said condiments she only gives 2 of them or asks "how many do you need" and i say "a lot please" and with that she gets an attitude and asks "well how much is a lot" with the worst attitude you can imagine. i believe she should be fired or talked to about respecting people that are bringing business to this specific location and basically as the consumers were paying for her paycheck. My grilled cheese was cold when I was going to eat it so I decided not to eat it. And I am not happy about it.

I eat at Jack-in-the-Box at least once a week I have gone to different Jack-in-the-Box. I have gone to many of them in Ventura County and this is the first Jack-in-the-Box that said they cannot cut my burger in half. I always get it cut in half because I can't eat the whole burger so I save the other half for later and they told me due to sanitary reasons they cannot cut it in half even though they are touching my sandwich already, I think this Jack-in-the-Box is just being lazy The manager on duty is Erica. I don't know if I'm spelling it correctly but I'm just very shocked that they're saying this is due to sanitary reasons. You're already touching my burger to put the lettuce on it when you're already touching my burger to put the tomato and the cheese and the meat and the mayo but you can't cut it in half. They should've just said we don't do it here instead of saying sanitary reasons because to me this makes no sense whatsoever. I recently visited this Jack in the Box on 9/16/23 at 12:30 am and placed an order in the drive through that was rather large, approximately 50 dollars worth of food. About half way through my order after I paused while reading off the list of orders I planned on purchasing. The cashier stated he "wanted to punch this guy." I simply was placing an order in the quickest way I could. The inconsideration from staff on scene was completely absurd and had zero respect for a customer. When he was questioned on his comment he stated he "was talking to someone else" and completely dismissed my concern. Either Jack in the Box Camarillo has no respect for their customers, or the employees have no respect for one another. Either way this kind of comment should have zero tolerance in the eyes of customer service or in the work place at all. When I asked to speak to a supervisor he stated there wasn't one on shift and then made us wait 20 plus minutes before he brought us our order. Love the Chinese egg rolls: cabbage with pork in a crispy hot wrap is just good especially when you get the flavor of pork with cooked cabbage. No sauce needed, the flavors are just comfort food. We were hungry and stopped at this nice and clean looking jack in the box, ordered several orders of chicken tenders (or breaded chicken), stuffed jalapeño and fries. All four orders of chicken tenders were pink and slimy inside. We showed Juan Garcia the manager and he said it was cooked, it was cooked like all the other chicken and so on. My husband requested new orders of chicken and they were cooked - after attitude and denial. To make a long story short. Raw pink slimy chicken can make you hospital sick. I was kind of skeptical about the coupon a friend emailed to me: Two free tacos on Tuesday, but you really did give me two things that looked like flattened out, ran over by a car, tacos. This Jack in the crack is small and a lot of the local working class eat here because it's cheap, but I can't tell you that it's healthy.
