That experience was a nightmare as that shop did not communicate well, and when they did it was a series of false promises of when my truck would be ready that they did not deliver on. This time I decided to have the insurance company issue me the check and I would chose the shop. After a lot of research, I chose Spacetown Auto. I knew I had made the correct decision after my initial meeting with Christina. As a former employee in the insurance industry, she knew the ins and outs of what insurance companies try to do to minimize their bottom line. I actually learned a lot from Christina through the process of repairing my wife's car. Throughout the process, not only was Christina communitive, but she acted like an advocate on our behalf. For instance, there were parts the insurance company wanted to be repaired, but Christina insisted they be replaced with new parts. She even got my insurance company to refund part of my deductible due to them delaying the repair. No one ever wants to have to use an auto body shop, but if you find yourself in a situation in which you must have your auto repaired, Spacetown Auto is the place to go.

Before coming, of course I searched Yelp for Blinn's, and saw the abundance of five star reviews. I had a big dent in my 2011 Honda Accord bumper, and a broken taillight. I bought the taillight online and Blinn's installed it. They also fixed the dent in my bumper. All for a VERY reasonable price. I didn't want to go through my insurance for this repair. In addition, they touched up a bunch of scratches I had in the paint. They did this as a courtesy, at no extra charge. Added Bonus: One of my windshield wipers fell off after last snowstorm. I was honestly considering using duct tape to get it back on! Anyway, I left it in my passenger seat, and sure enough, Blinn's installed it for me, without me asking them to, and without charging me for it either. They replaced the alternator and we went to go pick it up, but then the car wouldn't start when we were ready to leave. Jeff right away came and checked things out and realized that there may have been an issue with the alternator that they installed. They kept it for a few hours and realized that the part was bad. Not their fault. They were amazing about checking everything else that could have been the issue and realized that it was a faulty part and had things done and the battery charged and replaced the faulty alternator with a new one and had the car ready in just a few hours. They were very caring and nice and apologetic for the issue even though it was not their fault and didn't charge us for the additional work and part they installed. How often do you have a mechanic apologize to you? Can't recommend them enough.
