We hired MC Construction to get our house back in order after we had water damage from our upstairs bathroom. We got three bids for the job and we selected MC Construction because the bid was competitive and they had the best availability. Armando was pleasant to work with. This is a family business and they take a lot of pride in their work. The job kept growing as the days went on, nothing on their part - it is just how it all rolled out, and they were always willing to work with us on changes we requested. I called them back because our toilet had a little rocking going on which I noticed about a week later, and Armando sent someone out within a few days to fix the problem. This was after I already paid them in full! I was pleased about how easy it was to get them back out to fix it. Overall a very good experience and the guys were all very respectful and considerate. read more

Made an appointment for an estimate and was no showed on multiple times. Each time I called to see if they were running behind I was rescheduled. After the 5th no show I can honestly say I do not recommend this company. read more

Couldn't be happier with the quality of work that was provided. They went above and beyond super kind and patient. We reached out to MC Construction to get a quote to build a bedroom closet. Armando came and took measurements and told me I'd receive a quote that same day. I didn't receive it, so I reached back out to follow up. Still no response after a few days, so I moved on to another contractor. There are plenty of reputable contractors out there who are eager to earn your business so it's frustrating when someone wastes your time and theirs in coming out to take measurements for a job that they have no intention of completing. If you are looking to hire a contractor I'd pass on MC Construction and hire someone else. read more

Called to set up a walk through to get a quote on a bathroom remodel, was told by Armando to text him the address and he would confirm the appointment. It's been about a week with me texting a few times with zero response. Guess they have plenty off work........ read more

On time, on budget, and great work. We had 2 dog doors installed. Luis was friendly and quick. He explained some challenges we were going to have based on the type of door we had and worked well with what he had. It was a great experience and I would totally use MC Handyman again. read more

I had two projects that needed to be done and Armando and his team completed them with no problem in a week. They constructed a new outdoor patio cover and painted my entire house. Both projects turned out amazing. In addition, Armando was responsive and honored my requests. Looking forward to working with Armando and his team in the future. read more

MC Construction did an awesome job replacing drywall that was removed due to water damage. The seams were done beautifully, as was the texture match. When looking for a contractor, I found that several companies charged for providing a simple quote, but Armando didn't. Armando was professional, responsive, and easy to work with. I absolutely recommend his services. read more

We are so pleased with the work done!!! We had a multitude of jobs- ranging from tile work, to stucco, to wall patching, to paint, to fixing corbels. Interior, exterior they did it all! The crew checked in with each project to ensure 1. We were all on the same page for projects goals and 2. We were happy with the end product. The crew was efficient, professional, and very pleasant. The job started quickly and was completed in just two days! The pricing was very competitive and they were completely transparent throughout the entire process. I wish I had taken before and after pictures. To attest to our experience- before they even had the chance to leave, we were already discussing potential future projects we intend to hire them for! read more

Outstanding!!!! Armando came in did an estimate, came early and on time to put in posts to fix my fence!! AWESOME!!! Great work Armando and team did and I HIGHLY recommend them to do work for you. The good: Started out extremely professional and was able to come to my home next day to examine the work needed in order to provide a bid. The bad: Never sent a bid and never replied to my email or texts. If the job is not appealing, I would've appreciated honest communication. read more

This review is long overdue (forgive me MC Construction team)! Where to begin...well for starters they are highly professional and work to understand every aspect of the project. We had a complete kitchen and master bathroom remodel and I did not believe anyone could be as detailed oriented as I am LOL but I believe they have me beat. What an epic experience, everyone on his team is so kind hearted, professional, and serious about their craft/gift. I would use MC Construction in a heart beat for any home improvement projects...and you can trust referring friends and family...we did and his service was super consistent. Consider them strongly for your project...we are sure glad we did!!! We literally have a new house. read more

I recommend these guys to my clients and they never let us down. Seems like they can build pretty much anything

Armando came out to look at my fence, and he was supposed to get me an estimate. This was on January 19th. So over 3 weeks. I have sent him reminder messages twice. Still no estimate. If they are not interested in the job, I feel that it would be common courtesy to let me know that they don't want/need my work. read more

Armando and his team are absolutely AMAZING! We just bought a home that needed many renovations done. We couldn't wait to move in but we had so many issues that we had to contact someone to fix everything first. At first, we contacted to get a quote for painting, and Carlos was super friendly and was able to offer a great price and way faster than any other companies we contacted (he literally was able to start the next day) But as the job went on, we found out we had issues with black mold in the kitchen and both bathrooms. We were super stressed as we had already spent to replace Kitec plumbing in the whole house. And on top of that, we hired a different contractor to fix the mold issues but he took 2 WEEKS to basically do the drywall that needed to be fixed from the plumbing replacement and "start" the kitchen. That's when Carlos saved us and referred Armando and his team! OMG, they were absolutely incredible!! They started the next day and finished the job in 4 DAYS! They were extremely professional and SUPER fast! We couldn't be happier with everything they did! We basically renovated our whole house on the inside including: -Painting the whole interior -Painting kitchen cabinets and all cabinets -Demo kitchen island and replace with new cabinets and a new countertop -Replace both bathroom cabinets and floors, and fix the toilet -Install new light fixtures and exhaust fans -Replace ceiling fans And many other details we needed. read more

I've hired Armando to install several range hoods for me in our newly construction house still going through final inspection. As you may not know, when you build a house the county has sets of guidelines and regulations that must be meet in order to pass inspection and occupy the property. Armando installed the hood but it was 8 feet high making it impossible to manage the control. My son and wife commented on how I can access it without using a ladder. My builder saw it and said, it's not going to pass inspection. That's where the problem lay. Armando being in this business for quite some time should've realized and be aware of the building codes for hood installation. What good is it to have it installed and having to tear it down. Yes, he was prompt it getting the job but show lack of customer service after the fact. I've tried several times to get him to commit but to to no avail. I'm sure if money is discussed he would promptly appear. We are in a tight situation to get this house completed and not meeting our deadline jeopardizes our ability to occupy the house. Rather than doing the right thing, he's simply chasing the benjamins read more

After reading his reviews I seen good and super bad ones ,but I went ahead and hired him for a job, to support small businesses, everything with communication was fine at first. Until doing the actual job he didn't install my doors correctly and contacted him several times he kept saying he'll be able to fix it let him check his calendar and he'll get back to me. Never did and all my calls kept going to voicemails! After several attempts he basically went ghost on Me. That I had to ask another handyman if they're able to correct the mistakes. Take your money but doesn't want to correct any mistakes. read more

MC Constructions did a great job painting my house, cleaning molding off roof, etc. As the lead and point of contact, Carlos is very responsive in communications and thorough in explaining the job. I feel very comfortable working with him every step along the way. He and his crew are very friendly and timely in doing the work from preparation to execution and delivery. They clean up after the work each day and leave behind no mess. The end result is excellent!! The paint they use leaves a very nice vinyl-like texture. I get great compliments from my family friends and neighbors. I would highly recommend MC constructions!!! read more

If you're looking for great customer service, and for someone to follow through on providing an estimate, this is definitely not the place. I requested estimates for a couple of different projects I had going on, he said he would send them over to me, I received one estimate, didn't receive the rest. I followed up with him a few days later, he said he would send it. I have yet to receive the estimate. I agree with the other not so great reviews, if you're not interested in the project, just say you're not interested. read more

I called MC Handyman for several small jobs. Luis arrived promptly. He assembled one piece of furniture, repaired the door to a cupboard, and replaced the insecure mounting of two kitchen shelves with a more durable and secure mount. My wife was delighted that the shelves are sturdier and more dependable than before. I was glad to have the work performed so professionally and efficiently! Five Stars: MC Handyman was a good bargain for us. :) read more

I cannot speak highly enough about MC Handyman. They know their stuff, they work well and quickly, and have utterly fantastic attention to details. We asked MC Handyman to paint the interior walls of a house we'd just purchased (just the walls). Mind you, this is a big house (2100+ sq ft). (Thankfully, they were able to squeeze-in this job between much larger jobs.) They knocked it out in under 4 days, and did excellent work. I discussed the job with Carlos on-site, and he quoted me a price far, far lower than any of the other painting companies I'd contacted (for the same SW paint). Sometimes a lower price means a lower quality of work - not this time! They did an absolutely splendid job. Even being the nit-picker that I am, the only "flaw" I found was a tiny bit of paint on a metal flange for the toilet water supply (fingernail scraped it right off). Everything else was flawless and impeccable. The only hiccup came when the walls were unexpectedly absorbent of paint. Carlos volunteered to eat that extra cost, as he claimed it was his fault somehow. We chose to split it, as it's our house and there's no reason the unexpected should be expected (by definition). Carlos touched-base with me several times to keep me informed of the progress, and to ask for minor clarifications when needed. I always knew what was going-on, and what was going to happen next (which was nice). I visited the house a few times while work was in-progress, and was quite impressed with the masking job and the workers. I'm terrible with names, but R-something taught me a bit about how new paints operate (I've not done much painting in the last 20 years). He was doing absolutely top-notch work, and was quick about it (he even made time to school me on new paints). To his credit, Carlos offered to not inform me of something done by the previous painters that may cause annoyance. It seems that the previous painting crew (whenever that was), had a bit of bleed-through around the perimeter on the ceiling. It's only noticeable if you know it's there and intently look for it. MC Handyman would have addressed this, but were using a different color. I'm glad I know, and commend Carlos for offering to not inform me about something I might never notice. The integrity of these guys cannot be impugned. The next time I need ANY service MC Handyman offers, they are the ones I will call, without question. A company like this is a rare and wonderful find. Above top-shelf work, exceptional integrity and honesty, and quick as a scared rabbit - you could not ask for more. read more

I called Armando and the next day he came to give me an estimate. Wow never had that before but more importantly I noticed someone in the car he told me his wife's car broke down and his son was sick so he had to bring them with him. Talk about dedication that was enough for me to hire him. Armando and his partner are very detailed in their work. I told them about a broken fence that wasnt on the list and he got the supplies and secured it to perfection. He came out on a holiday and repaired my shower, garage door, fence and lighting structure and it looks amazing and the prices are excellent. MC Construction Responded quickly to my inquiry and provided an estimate within 24 hrs. I am still gathering estimates.

Had an upstairs plumbing disaster that damaged my ceiling drywall in the dining room. Needed to have damaged drywall removed and replaced, and also a stairwell ceiling chandelier and several ceiling mount lights installed. Called MC Handyman after reading the Yelp reviews, and Armando answered immediately and was very helpful and polite. He was very accommodating for our schedules to come out (very punctual, good communication) to do a consultation with a very reasonable esrimate. Within a few days he and his team came out and did the job very efficiently and as scheduled. They left no mess and were respectful of our home and I felt they wanted to help us make it beautiful. The ceiling looks great and the lights are just like I wanted them to be. I recommend Armando and his team for all your handyman needs. Armando is the most honest and detailed handyman I have ever come across! I don't know if I'd call him a handyman- he is so much more than that! When we moved into a new house we had a lot of work to get done, changing all the flooring, lighting fixtures, dry walling, installing cabinet handles and all within the span of 10 days! We are so so incredibly happy with the work he did- he was ready at all times of the day to answer our questions and was so reliable and friendly! I can not recommend him and his team enough! Armando did an amazing job making adjustments to our cabinets. He came over within 2 days of me requesting a quote. He took some measurements and got me the quote the following day. Then, he was able to schedule the work within a week! We bought a larger fridge that no longer fit in the old space, and he managed to use some of the old cabinets and rework the trim in order to make it look like it was always meant to be this way. In addition, he was able to relocate a light switch and patch the wall good as new. Overall, we had a wonderful experience working with Armando, Luis, and his crew. They were great communicators, hard workers and the end result turned out perfect. I would definitely work with them again on our next home project. read more

Armando did an absolute amazing job! I couldn't believe how fast he was able to get me in for an estimate. I had a lot of trouble getting a hold of any handyman in the past.
