One star cause I was able to walk in without an appointment or a long wait. I called before hand and asked if they if they did builder gel, they do so I walked in and sat down. I went in for a refill. My nails were all ready growing out so I wanted to keep the length. She even asked me if I wanted to cut or keep it and I said keep. I was very specific that I want my nails thin and not very curved. She grinds almost all of what I have on my nails already and it was too much cause my nail bed started to burn. She grounded and filed all my length down and my nails are now shorter than when I walked in there. I grabbed the file and showed her how I wanted my nail shaped cause one side was round and the other hand a point. I'm sitting in the nail shop in tears and she tells me she won't charge me for the French tip I asked for.... Like that is supposed to bring back the length of my nails you took off.. read more

They were really nice but both me and my daughter had injuries from their filing on our skin. Than my daughter's nails weren't even. She had French manicure and it was blobby at the end. I still have color on my skin from the dip and the color isn't consistent and corners aren't completely covered. We went here because it was next to my daughter's chiropractor but we will definitely not be back. read more

JULIE is my nail tech. She is amazing . Check out my HOUSTON Astros nails. They do everything. I love "dip" but they have solar . They do facials, they do waxing, pedicures, etc. Everyone is great there but JULIE is my favorite. They are next to Kroger at Spring Cypress and Champion Forest. read more

Terrible. Sloppy. Rude. I came here upon recommendation and will be sure to never come back. The girl rushed through my mani pedi where she picked where nails she did and didn't want to file. I had to ask her to file all my nails. My cuticles still looked terrible. When she painted my nails she was missing huge corners. Just an overall sloppy job. When I first arrived and asked how much a mani pedi was I thought I heard $25. Upon leaving and getting ready to pay for the worse mani pedi I've ever had the manager, or man running the shop told me it was $35. I told him I must have misunderstood and could I please see the "menu" of options they give you so I could just see what I missed. He got all bent out of shape and started raising his voice at me for no reason. So rude, I will never come back here. For a city with so many polite and customer service friendly individuals MB nails is not one of them. read more

MB Nails had been around for a while and I have been a loyal customer. The owner knows us by name and welcomes us every time we come in. Like any nail place, you're gonna find a tech or two that doesn't do a good job but what matters is how management handles things. Anytime we have an issue management takes care of it. The shop is clean and my wait is minimal. They take appointments but I feel like society is becoming used to the walk in and get it done concept and MB delivers. I was hesitant to try this place because it had 3 Yelp stars and so-so reviews. But I needed a quick haircut and blowout at the salon next door and this place had an opening so I went for it. I was in town visiting from LA and boy do I wish 3-star places in LA are anywhere as good as this place. It's a standard, small Asian-owned mini mall nail salon with the standard not-too-obtrusive chit chat in Vietnamese amongst the nail technicians so that's the baseline for your expectations. It's friendly and clean. The manager was attentive and offered me water right away. They use plastic covers in the spa chair tubs and their tools are in sanitary packs which are huge pluses for me. I didn't catch the name of the lady who did my nails but she was thorough and the massage was very good and thorough. So, again, for a strip mall mani that's not trying to be some luxe spa place this gets 5 stars for me. read more

No offer of drinks - no smiles and the chick that did my pedi had earbuds in and an attitude the whole time. When I did ask a question she acted like I was bothering her. Pedi was done in about 15 mins... Pedi was messy and nails weren't even filed straight, that should be a given. Polish on skin and uneven blobs on toes. At this point I am just pissed and ready to go.... My daughters mani had to be fixed when I looked at it - they know an 11 yr old wont say anything but I will. I visited this salon this past Wednesday and I was impressed. I came in an hour before they closed and they took me right away. I got a red glitter full set with a cheetah design & the regular pedicure with a flower design on each toe. How much everything would cost kind of got lost in language barrier issues but it happens. I normally would spend $54 at my other salon, but I spent $68 here. I had two ladies, one doing my toes & the other my nails. They were both super sweet & when I showed the woman the design I wanted on my nails she really tried & I was happy with it. I was also super pleased with the toe design because you can actually see it and it covers my toe! (I hate little barely there designs) I tipped $20, so $10 per lady. Overall it may have been a little more pricey but, I was really happy and would come again. read more

Got my nails done here on the 4th of July because the two places I regularly go to were closed. I got a spa pedicure ($20) and a full set with full color ($35) and my fiancé also got a spa pedicure ($22). The employees were friendly and the lady who did my pedicure did an okay job but she did it very quickly and both of our pedis were finished in about 15 minutes. The guy that did my full set also did a quick job and my nails were uneven he didn't ask me if I wanted square or round and did them square. When I asked him about it he said he wasn't done with them, but never fixed it. The paint job was sloppy and the sides of my nails weren't even painted. While I was there one customer complained that the lady doing her pedi messed up 5 times while doing the designs she requested and she ended up not even getting a design and another lady got her nails done, asked the guy to fix something, then came back again after she left to ask him to fix something else. It's not the worst nail salon I have ever been to but I will never go back. People were crowded into the salon, I had to wait 15 minutes then when the nail person started, I had to ask her name, she never said another word, it was clear I was just another set of nails, she soaked my nails in cold water, ripped my cuticles, filed my nails and slapped on some polish. Meanwhile a young customer on her phone with husband went on in a loud voice over inane topics, the technicians started yelling at one another, it was anything but a relaxing respite in a busy week, not one I will repeat. read more

I had my eyebrows tinted here and am VERY unhappy. They decided my fair face and blonde eyebrows needed to go full black. My first reaction was shock when she showed me in the mirror, then she assured me it would lighten in a day or two. All I've done is scrub my eyebrows for 2 days. I look like a demented circus clown, my kids laugh at me while looking at my forehead, and everyone else I know tries not to stare. I went back and insisted they do anything possible to fix it. Now they say, sorry, too bad, but it will lighten up in a couple weeks. Yeah, when it eventually falls out and my new blonde grows. Can't WAIT to see what that looks like for the second month or so..... Zero apology by the way. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. If all you do is nails, stop advertising like you do more! They talk about their customers right while they are sitting there. It's rude and unacceptable. There are too many nail salons that treat their customers better than that. Like many nail salons they do good the first couple of times but then start to slack. Which is surprising because on a pedicure I'll typically tip about $10-15 depending. Also, they don't listen. You can tell them, "I don't really need the leg massage can you spend more time on my cuticles?" They will do you cuticles for 5 mins (both feet) but give you a 20 min leg message. I got tired of trying to explain myself over and over again of what I wanted, even to the lady that speaks extremely good English. Lost in translation I guess? Also I got an infection on one of my finger nails after a full set fill. Gross!! Doctor bills and antibiotic creams later it went away but was super annoying not to mention embarrassing. My opinion is they try to rush the job to get more people in the chair. Save your money and don't waste your time, stay far away!! read more

Extremely rushed and careless. I requested one of the more deluxe pedicures ($46) that involved several additional components. She rushed through and finished in less than 30 minutes. She was careless in the clipping and shaping of my nails, catching the skin multiple times and did not do a quality job exfoliating. I left still needing a pedicure. My friend also requested a shellac manicure, but quickly changed her mind when she saw how the pedicure was going. Definitely not the experience you expect for the amount of money being spent. I came here on a recommendation of a friend. She usually sees Julie, but she was not available that day that I went. I saw Anna. Anna got me in and out in under 18 minutes and did a fabulous job. I usually get the French manicure shellacand Anna made my nails look flawless. I am writing this review about two weeks after I visited. Mice nails still look amazing. I am a hairdresser and my nails are always underwater so even if they do a great job the shellac usually lifts around the corners and you can see where the shellac ends. But this time is very different. Ana did such a great job of pushing and removing my cuticles that the shellac is growing out just a tiny bit but it is very flushed to my nails there is no bump where the shellac start which is usually the case with other people that I have seen. This place was very unprofessional. My friend and I decided to get our nails done and searched within the area for a place that was open on Sunday, before noon. Our first few choices were not, so we ended up here. Now, I usually always get my nails done a specific way, and I understand why the ladies here wanted to up-sale the shellac, but I am aware of the risks if you get the shellac manicures often. Therefore, I politely declined the lady when she asked the first time. The other female convinced my friend to get shellac, and even though she quickly finished, my friend was happy with her results. (Her service costed more than mine.) An older man came in to help with the others who were waiting, and they were speaking in their native tongue asking why my lady was taking so long on my nails and she told them because she was doing what I had asked. I tried really hard not to speak up in her defense because I understood what they were saying and it seemed as though they were giving her in attitude due to the current wait they had. The other two people assumed because I wasn't getting shellac done that my nail technician wasn't up selling and were giving her a hard time because she was taking her time with my nails. So when the older man finished with his client, he came up to my nail tech asked what I was getting done, and told her to go work on a pedicure that has been waiting. I understand weekends are busy, but if a salon accepts walk-ins, they should at least worry about the customers who arrived first. So I am sitting there, getting my nails finished by the older gentleman, after asking my nail tech to work on someone else, began to rush through it. So as soon as my nails were shaped, I asked him if I could just check out. He said sure and that if I wanted to return later in the day he would finish the service. I declined. This place got 1 star because of how unprofessional they were. I didn't like how tacky it was that they insisted on a different kind of service when I knew exactly what I wanted. read more

I just get basic pedis- I got the spa pedicure & was satisfied. They didn't offer to put me under the dryer afterwards- they brought me straight to register to pay. I couldn't stay too long so it didn't bother me too much this day. I will make sure to ask to sit under the dryer next time- unless it is not included in the price. first of all the way they try to remove acrylic nails is the most painful/uncomfortable feeling ever. if hurts like a b****. I am very unhappy with the store I don't recall the girl who did my nails name but she was short. she tried to take my nails off with another fake nail and rip them off from under neath. and that hurts. when she had got to the second nail I told her to stop and soak them. she did. then she went with the little spiny thing to file my nails down and broke my REAL nail in half and then offered to nail glue my REAL nail from the middle. and I said no and left. very unhappy and my mom said they over priced her twice. very unhappy. read more
