They are at their home location Friday and Saturday Friday and Saturday 11-6:30pm!

As a local native here, I absolutely unequivocally can recommend Mazycks grill! I have stopped by here several times, especially since I know that they are local! The seafood rice and a lemonade are perfect for a great meal! So many things to choose from, you could try any one of them and be satisfied! There have been times that I've driven by. They're hoping they would be there but they weren't. Make sure you check that they are there before you plan to have their delicious food for lunch or dinner. The service is always top notch and the people are so friendly! I can't wait to see them out and about somewhere where I could sit at a picnic table and eat everything right away while it's still hot and fresh. I have been known to take my food to a park and sit in my car and eat! Yes, it is that good!

Cant't forget the mango lemonade in the background

Please do your tummy a favor and STOP and order from this food truck when you see it on 6 Mile & Rifle Range! Ms. Jackie and Charles are so nice and their food BANGS! The fish and shrimp is fried perfectly and their seafood rice has all of the wonderful flavors but doesn't overpower the rice foundation. This place is a WINNER! Their fresh squeezed lemonades are on point. It may be a gift and a curse that I love around the corner

Our neighborhood food truck nights can be hit or miss, but Mazyck's Grille hit the ball out of the park! We had the fried fish with French fries ($12) and an order of seafood rice ($7). The fish was seasoned perfectly and not too salty or greasy. It was delicious on its own, without any tartar or cocktail sauce. The portions are quite large, and we got a nice dinner for under $20 pre-tip, which rarely happens these days. Plus, you can't beat supporting a local, Black-owned business. Service was excellent and fast, so give Mazyck's Grille a shot if they visit your neighborhood or at their usual spot in North Mount Pleasant.

There's something about the name "Acme" and good seafood when it comes to coastal restaurants…read more Along the Gulf, you think of Acme Oyster House. On the coastal Atlantic, we recommend Acme Low Country Kitchen. You get five-star food in a rustic setting that could benefit for a bit of a makeover -- but only a touch or two. Excellent service compliments the food. On our plate: The "Light: House, including sauteed shrimp, seared scallops and a house-made, fresh crab cake that comes with a caveat that a shell chip or two might be mixed (we call that authentication). All were perfectly prepared and ample sized. This wasn't a shrimp-and-chips drive-through; this was a meal. Our sides: Collards (this is the low country) and fried Brussel sprouts, again well prepared. Price: $38.25 and among the higher-priced items on the seafood-heavy menu but worth it. Others in our party, including two non seafood eaters, chose the pecan fried chicken (two breast with one each going home because of the size) with another going with the Carolina Duo of the chicken and short ribs. Will we return? Yes. There are other options we've yet to try as our visits to Charleston increase but this was a real treat. Even better, it is near the fabled Dingy beach bar where we ducked in to watch the Kentucky Derby. We could spend our retirement years at The Dingy but that's another review to come. Acme is a 4.5-star review with the only points shaved because it just needs a little updating (after the season, perhaps). The food and service more than make up for it.

Well bless it, I don't even know where to begin with what happened to us this Easter at ACME…read moreRestaurant on Isle of Palms. We walked in and the place was emptier than a church on a Wednesday night, yet somehow we were told to head on over to the bar, wait for a table, and go ahead and order ourselves a drink. Didn't make much sense, but we did as we were told. Then we stood there a good 10 minutes while the bartender, who let us know he's studying to be a dentist up in Spartanburg, was busy chatting away with another customer like we weren't even there. When he finally got around to us, it felt like we were more of an inconvenience than paying customers. But the real kicker came after we finally got our drinks. The manager came up, and I kid you not, told us we had to leave the restaurant and go out to the parking lot to finish them. No explanation, just attitude, and not a polite one either. To be honest, the manager seemed like she might have had a little too much Easter spirit, if you catch my drift. The whole interaction was downright combative and made us feel completely unwelcome. What really got me, though, was the poor hostesses and waitstaff. They apologized to us over and over and quietly let us know this kind of situation is something they deal with on a daily basis. We even heard her speaking sharply to another customer, which made it clear this wasn't just a one time issue. Honestly, the whole experience felt like a bad trip to the dentist and cost about the same as a root canal. All in all, it was a mess from start to finish, rude, confusing, and about as un Southern hospitality as you can get. I would think twice before going back, y'all.

They are served with a mignonette, which isn't my favorite, I should have asked for cocktail sauce z but I just slurped them down "naked" and they were fabulous. We also had the hushpuppy tots - the butter these come with is the perfect compliment. Hubs had the Sullivan fried platter, so good, it includes fried green tomatoes - YUM! And coleslaw that reminds me of Jewish delis from my childhood, but finely shredded. I had the fish tacos which were swordfish today, the salsa on there is perfect with the fish. Cocktails were good and if you've ever been to the BVI, the best painkiller that's not there, they even use Pusser's Rum. I can't wait to go back to try more of the menu.

We have been to Sullivan's three times, and its been a very mixed experience. The one constant is…read moreservice that is often slow or poorly timed with the bar service being the biggest issue. There is a lot to love about this restaurant - location, an upscale/beachy/comfortable vibe and food that can be exceptional. We are big fans of the sister restaurant Post House where we regularly visit. It is a tale of two restaurants. The Post House executes with precision, service is exceptional and the food is unwaveringly wonderful. Not the same with Sullivan's Fish Camp. Execution inconsistent - On one visit, our food took 45 minutes (was 2/3 full at best and no-one outside) - We were given fries gratis in recognition of the wait. Even at that visit at the bar, it took too much time to get our drinks. A recent visit (3/11/26), it took 20 minutes to get our drink order, and our food arrived shortly after. The server was attentive and mostly sympathetic, but sort of dismissed it as normal. The principle reason for the 3 rating is a service rating of 2 over these visits. The food is generally exceptional. For this dinner, we had their roasted squash which was absolutely amazing. They were out of a few dishes. We had a special tile fish on a root purée and an arugula and mushroom topping that was exceptional... but just warm at best. Execute. Food could be a 5, but it is a 4. The good news it can be addressed!

The food was incredible, and one of the things that really stands out is that they actually have a Lowcountry boil on their regular menu, which you surprisingly do not see that often around Charleston. It is a great option if you want something classic and shareable for the table. The location is also a big part of the experience. You are right on the marsh at Shem Creek, and if you time it around sunset the views are awesome. It is one of those places where you can just sit back, enjoy the scenery, and take your time with the meal. Service was really good and the staff kept everything moving smoothly even though it was busy. Only thing to know ahead of time is that parking can be a little tricky, especially during peak hours since the spots fill up quickly. Just give yourself a little extra time. Overall, a really fun spot with great food, beautiful views, and a perfect place to celebrate with a group. Would definitely go back.

I ordered the happy hour wings and was honestly disappointed. The portion was barely a serving, and they didn't even toss the wings, just fried them and dumped a heavy amount of seasoning on top. No balance at all. I also had the crab cake sandwich with waffle fries. The sandwich itself was good, but the fries were just okay at best. A lot of them were so hard you couldn't even bite into them, which was frustrating. Another downside was the pricing. I didn't like that they charge different prices for cash vs. card. Being charged extra just for using a card feels outdated and should be clearly stated beforehand. Overall, some things were decent, but between the small portions, poorly prepared sides, and the card fee, I probably wouldn't rush back
