    Hot Cheetos, Dorito, Regular

Food (4/5): Korean corn dogs! If you haven't had one, you need to try them! I guess they are a food truck and move around. Their Facebook page shows their current location. I've had Korean corn dogs in Portland Oregon, where they are EPIC. So, I had to try one here in Charleston. We had the Dorito Cool Ranch, Hot Cheeto and regular one.. they all really tasted the same (the Dorito and Cheeto dust looks like it's put on top after they fry them. Part hot dog, part cheese stick - the cheese pull from the cheese part is really awesome. We had the yum yum sauce on top which I think made them all taste the same. Had the sauce been on the side, we prob would have been able to distinguish them from each other. If you like fried corn dogs, you will love these. Service (4/5): Take out window from Lucky Luchador.

Amazing food and service was amazing!! Vibe inside the Luchador was cool and chill. The owner came and took our order and food was out in a jiffy. The corn dogs were soo good! I was surprised I liked the Taki busted one. The potato one for me was just okay but I like the breading ! Tots were super delicious! Wings were perfectly seasoned and spiced!! The dumplings were good as well but I wish there was a meat filling. Overall great!!

One of our favorite places to eat! The food is always great. I could eat there every day... especially the gochujang yum yum rice!

If you're wondering if these are worth the hype, THEY ARE! We tried the flaming hot cheeto, regular Cheeto, and two classics one with cheese sauce and the other with yum yum sauce. Also tried bulgogi. SO GOOD! The sugar on the corn dogs created a salty, slightly sweet crunch and the bulgogi was salty, a little sweet, and a little spicy. Beautiful mixes of flavors that were so original and delicious! Highly recommend and can't wait to come back!

Oh yeah! Happy hour corn dog! Who's happy? This guy.

Been following this place for a while and finally got to experience it. Eclectic corn dogs! And bonus of dumpling soup. Omg! Lovely. The owner was wonderful as well. This was the first and definitely not the last time we will come back. Best corn dog ever.

Came to The Whale for this particular food truck while visiting Charleston. Timing and service were great, the only thing I would change is ratio of hot dog to breading; either way, the potato dog was great & the honey mustard drizzle sealed the deal. Very cool concept!

Seol Ah's Korean Fusion came to my work one day and I decided to try it, I'd heard great things about their Korean Dogs. They were offering 3 corn dogs that day, labeled "Dorito, Potato, and Mozzarella, they were out of Mozzarella, so I ordered one of each of the Dorito and the Potato. Sadly, a mistake was made and I ended up getting 2 of the same kind of corn dog, and I am not sure which one I ate, based on taste, I believe my corndog was Potato because it did not take like Dorito. I was also not able to eat the food hot, it ended up being room temperature, but despite this, both the fries and corn dog were still crispy. It was very filling, I wasn't able to finish it all, but I definitely wanted to. The corn dog was covered in sugar on the outside, this made the corndog sweet and savory. The cheese was spicier than I expected it to be, it's not really spicy many of you may not be able to taste it but I could taste the spice and it was a nice kick and offset some of the sweetness from the sugar. I am excited to try Seol Ah's again and update my review!

After speaking to a few different caterers on the phone, Salthouse was the obvious choice because we felt like they were really invested from the beginning, we weren't just another number to them. They asked personal, in-depth questions that made us feel confident that they were the people for the job. We wanted the food at our wedding to reflect Charleston's cuisine since we had a lot of out of town guests, and several guests said it was the best fried chicken and shrimp and grits they ever had. For cocktail hour, we had a beautiful Southern antipasto spread with biscuits, pimento cheese, and all the fixings. We were blown away during the tasting and they made everything so easy. They even coordinated the rentals for our linens through Snyder, which was a huge help. They were super professional and we had a perfect wedding day thanks to them. Highly recommend them for any event!

Thank goodness for the reviews! They were on point. Chef Chris was extremely professional and his food was amazing. Not only did Chef Chris provide the catering, but he also was the point person for my table, chairs, and linen rental and the bar service. Having Chef Chris as the point person was a life saver, giving me a single point of contact for multiple moving parts! Our wedding reception was held at out of town and very casual yacht club. It was a bit of a schlep from Charleston (about a 40 minute drive) and didn't have a freezer. Chef Chris brought *everything* he needed, including an ingenious way to keep ice cream without a freezer on site (not sure how he did it, but I assume I would have been impressed). His staff was terrific and multiple guests said the bar service staff was also wonderful. The food was perfect! We had the low-country boil and it was AMAZING! The shrimp were HUGE and the corn was crisp, potatoes were perfect, and the sausage was bursting. We also had pulled pork on soft buns, as well as salad and green beans. No wedding cake - we went with apple cobbler. All my guests commented on the food, during and after the wedding reception. Serving large groups is always a challenge, but Chef Chris made it seamless and so flavorful! Frank and I strongly recommend booking Chef Chris! He is wonderful to work with and delivers amazing food and service. Good luck!

Every quarter, our Scout Troop does a Court of Honor where we recognize the accomplishments of the girls from the last few months. I thought about making mac n cheese myself, which I'm highly capable of doing, but thought, why not support a small business who I know can make some kick-ass mac for the girls. Pickup was easily scheduled and completed. I arrived at the event with a huge tray of gourmet mac n cheese, and I think maybe I brought enough back home for me to have as a side for my next meal.
