I don't know about you, but I love Maverik and it's become pretty much the only gas station I choose to stop at while I travel in Nevada. I really like how the company seems to hold high standards for it's stores and its consistency between locations. This location in particular, is pretty convenient when traveling between the northern and southern parts of Reno. It's about halfway between Virginia St and 395, so really easy to access on the main veins. When I visit any location, I usually aim for the self check outs, as I pay with card and don't need the cashier to make change for cash. The self check outs are easy to use and prompts are easy to read and navigate. Consistent with the other locations, the coffee station and the to go hot food (aka delicious burritos) are well stocked in the morning, and less so in the afternoons I've noticed. (Also small gripe with the sausage burrito (my go to) has a new sauce and I personally hate the flavor of it. Just give me the ingredients without any extra sauce.) The added 24/7 hours make it real easy for any hour of travel to stop in and get road trip goodies! read more

Quality/Quantity - Gas, fresh food (convenience store level), hot & cold food, fast food, drinks, snacks, etc. Atmosphere - Most locations are above average sizes. Clean spacious locations. Small seating area. Good selection of drinks, see pictures. Cool decor. Modern bathroom, see picture. Plenty of parking. Open 24 hours. Service - Loyalty program to save $$, see website. Promotions - Weekly, promotional, grand openings, etc. Price - Convenience store prices. I'm not sure if it was just today, but we came in right at 10 o'clock to get some breakfast tacos from their bonfire grill. The lady said it was too late so we ordered some Carnitas tacos. The lady also told us that she didn't have any pork. So we finally end up getting some Kearny Asada tacos. When we got them out to the car open them up, they were just a pitiful amount of beef in the taco. Over the years we've had these tacos so many times, and this is the first time we felt we were shorted. After they changed the type of coffee they have here from fresh brewed to a pushbutton machine that grinds the beans while you wait, we come here less and less. I will try the tacos one more time and if it's a small amount of meat, then we probably won't be stopping here anymore as the gas prices are usually more than other places, the coffee is not good anymore, and they short you on the meat. read more

Air pump not working paid $2 dollars and instead of air going in it was releasing air out of tire . Almost caused me to have a flat tire . When I went into the store to ask for a tire gauge, they said they did not have one went back out. Tried to put Erin and I could not hear the error going in instead. It was releasing air . Gas prices are high, but it's conveniently located. Store is great - has all the treats that my grandkids and I love! And .. they have the milkshake machine!! Entire set up is - the gas pumps, the store and restrooms. No complaints. read more

This gas station is getting expensive! The cashiers are extremely slow or maybe it's the programs they us for the stores but I hate going into these gas stations primarily for that reason. They sell these small burritos for 6-8 bucks and it sits under a light for hours?? . All drinks even water is pricy. Not to mention standing in line way to long just to pay for a water and some gas . Gas stations should be a fast in n out service where you are not paying restaurant prices for warm light food. read more

Yas, I gave a gas station five stars!! Why you ask?! Unfortunately and fortunately 100% of my travel is via car. At this point in my life a gurl really appreciates a clean bathroom!!! Their wash station is something from sci-fi movie. Touchless hand soap, water and hand dryer. For a germaphobe like myself this is a dream come true. Onto the selection for drank and food. They don't skip on a huge selection on cold and hot drinks. I've a fan of the Chi Tea which I add a black tea bag to the mix. Yes, it's a gas station and the food offering are not on the healthy side. But who doesn't like a Bonfire roll with restaurant style green salsa once and a while!?!? Usually I have a lower expectations with food from gas station but when my husband bought some burritos as we were driving to vegas, we were saddened by our selections. It was big, but bigger isn't always better. The carne asada was hard to eat as it was dry and bland. Maybe we will give it another shot in the future read more

This is one of Reno's newest Maveriks, and probably one of the nicest ones in the area. So, let me preface this my saying, I ADORE Maverik's yummy food, convenience, and great gas prices too. Most of the employees at this location are awesome, too! They're fun and friendly, albeit a bit feisty, too! The trouble I have at this particular location is it seems like its always A MESS! Several times I've stopped by for coffee since my kids' school is in the area, and the coffee bar is DISGUSTING! It could be that it's proximity to the high school is to blame, but then the employees should be aware of their wake of destruction and clean up after the morning & lunch rushes. One of the last times I was in, I overheard an employee gossiping to another 2 employees about what the past shift's employees didn't clean...also a no-no in the presence of customers, IMHO. The food is sometimes hit or miss, check out my burned breakfast bowl pics. Regardless of who did or didn't clean, the place needs some attention. It would be a shame to let messy teenagers scare off other customers. It's a nice store, just clean it up. read more

My hubby, Guy and I stopped at this Maverick between buses. Was given a warm greeting by Joshua. Just that act of kindness made me decide to have lunch there. Not all Mavericks are created equal. This one is Sparkly clean with a Great Staff. Nika also greeted me. I ordered the Pork salad. Nika put a lot of care into the making of my salad. I thanked her. My hubby tried the salad and he almost ate the whole thing before I could get a bite. Super Delicious. Barbacoa? So Good. I loved the beans and rice lined on a soft, warm tortilla. Definitely the most fun a gas station can provide. They have ethanol-free gas, cheap fill-ups on fuel and food. There's every snack you could think of in the aisles. I like going to Maverik because the staff is always super friendly and helpful. Some of the cheaper gas in town as well. read more
